Please spare your time,money and ESPECIALLY YOUR HAIR from this woman.I have been going to Ashely over the past few years for blonding.I grew my hair out for 21/2 years for 2 pregnancies.When she originally cut my hair back in 2019,she cut it to just above my shoulders.By 2022,my hair had grown down to my hips.I decided I wanted an ashy toned balayage,&showed her my inspo photos to which she agreed that we could try and get there.I was there for 3 hours.Since it was 8pm I was in a hurry to leave to get back to my babies,& I didnt have a chance to get a good look at my hair.I wasn't thinking much of it since she had never done something like this to me before.I woke up the next morning &let her know my hair was a bunch of different tones and extremely brassy&asked if we could do something about it to blend it.She responded that the only way to make it match was to take me back dark.In my head,I was frustrated because I had just grown out my hair for 3 years and she just bleached it all just to tell me the only way to fix it is to take me back dark.I still trusted her,& asked her if we could book again in 6 weeks.She did not respond.I waited a week and texted her again,asking to book in a month instead,she did not respond.After a few weeks of no response,I had to find a new stylist to fix my hair because I had family pictures coming up and my hair was horrendous.Not to mention,I had reached out to 8 different stylists for quotes on this.Each said the same,that it would be a complete color correction equaling a lot more money to fix and that they cannot believe someone would let me leave their salon this way.I ended up having to pay over $500 to have it corrected.She texted me 3 weeks later saying"any chance you can come in tomorrow".To me this isn't taking accountability for what she did or having the best interest for me as her client.It seems to me that after weeks of ignoring my concerns,she just needed a spot to fill after someone canceled in order to make some money.I expressed my concerns to her that no response for weeks was not professional& that I did not feel comfortable with being her client&that I would like a refund at this point.I explained that she damaged the integrity of my hair&that her ignorance forced me to spend MORE money to fix her mistakes.I texted her multiple times to get back in HER CHAIR to fix HER mess&ended up spending half a grand for someone else to fix it.She responds saying my hair was full of dye,that it was hard to lift(again haven't dyed my hair in almost 3 years)that she didn't have immediate openings so she waited to text me...Why wouldn't you schedule me out before I left knowing you left me with orange hair?She stated "no one likes the in between stage (referring to brown to blonde)&due to your schedule we had to finish up due to limited time"This is all coming from someone who spent half of my appointment in her friend's suite&then sent me on my way with "purple shampoo will help".What she left me with isn't at all acceptable for a stylist to leave someone with.Once I let her know I would be notifying the state board,as well as the owners of her suites about her unprofessionalism,she responded back to me stating she didnt care and that neither does the board & that she didn't physically harm me. Also commenting "you should know better as a single mom." The fact that she brought up MY personal information as an attack is EXTREMELY unprofessional.In the end,she did refund me"half"of her charges but didn't include tip I gave her like I requested,because why would she deserve one in the first place?Also would like to note,the last time I had visited Ashley she made several racist comments,one being: "my family and I aren't racist but we don't believe that any races should mix and have babies because of medical issues."Which is an extremely racist statement in itself whether she thought so or not.My best friend, who brought me to her has a MIXED BABY.I was just completely appalled.She also blocked me on Facebook from being able to leave a review. The worse cut in my life. Warning, this hairdresser is scary and question he license. Its abone person shop. My cut was awful, and being hair proud had to wear a wig til the hair grows. A total waste of $25. Reviews must be written by herself or family n friends. Not angry as i thought by the reviews I read, believed she was at least a hair stylist. Wrong! I question her training for my cut was horrible, no talent or care for what she did to me with a pair of scissors in her hand. Watch out. Mt experience, truthfully, a nightmare! I'm warning all ladies seeking a talented and modern hairstylist, look elsewhere. Ask around your area and ask where women whose style u like, had their cut done. I've lost six months in waiting for hair growth to length I began before the cut by this hair dresser, i saw no skills, and ive been in fashion industry for 40 years, I have had learned. In writing this, hopefully, I will spare you the anguish, as I share my story. Nothing to gain for myself its too late. My experience was a great loss, a deficient of 6 mo. to grow out the jagged n unwearable hair cut after paying $25! Advice is to find an excellent skilled and reputable hair stylist! read more

Fantastic prices, and she did a good job. Made me a bit nervous, as it is in one of those salon plazas where everything is a single room. Mainly because I've had bad luck with them in the past. She is friendly, did a great job at shaping them and getting them at the length I desired. The place is clean and for someone who is doing it all on her own, I am happy enough. Probably the only real con for me was that there was limited colors to choose from. Typically I bring my own anyway, so if they need a touch-up I can do them. However, it may be something to remember if you're wanting a particular shade. read more

I've had my hair done by the lead stylist of Pretty Cut and Dry for the past year. I have generally straight and somewhat thick hair and typically get red and blond alternating highlights on the top half of my scalp and a deep reddish brown as the under layer with a disconnect cut each time. My hair is always done in a timely manor & wait time has never been a problem. There has yet to be an occasion where i have left with any hesitation or problems other than random people stopping me to inform me of how they love my hair. I've had this style done by one other stylist a few years back but the coordination of the coloring wasn't maintained as well as it is now. I will never stray away from this salon after how repeatedly i have been amazed by her coloring talents. It's not a typical or easy coloring to do but it is always done well and no matter how fussy I am, she always makes it to my liking. The length was cute BUT was Not even....on one side was longer than the other so after a few wks., I snipped a couple inches to make it even. It just wouldn't lay right so after I cut it, it was great! Every place I have gone to, they measure each side to make it look even. She didn't do that! She asked me if I wanted my bangs cut & before I could answer, she started cutting a few strands on top of my head! What the heck??? So I moved my head away... I think she probably has to like you to get a good cut which isn't right!! or is it jealousy (?) lol! - just be careful!! We're paying you girl!! OMG! read more
