We are both physicians, she is especially busy, and she was looking forward to an early start on a "day of beauty" for her birthday. She arrived at 7:50 am for an 8 am, hour long, appt.. The technician assigned to her did not open the shop until after 8 am and then took an additional 15-20 minutes setting up her station and gathering materials. When the tech was done my wife voiced her disappointment and requested more lash material as there was very little difference from her natural state/plus mascara. The tech was completely unwilling to accommodate my wife's request, calling the owner- who was equally unhelpful, and informed my wife that her hour of allotted time had been used up. Implying that they needed to service the next appointment leaving no time to make the lash adjustment. When my wife reminded her that she lost 20 minutes of the time she was paying for, secondary to the tech's tardiness, the tech became indignant. My wife indicated that she did not feel she should have to pay for the hour service as she did not receive the allotted hour and was disappointed with the lash volume. The tech then informed my wife, "if you don't pay we will have to remove the lashes"!!! Crazy, the tech has no time to satisfy a ripped off customer, but will take 30-15minutes to remove the lash material. There is a reason this place ONLY GETS 2 STARS on YELP. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! I typically fill in my brows daily but decided to get them microbladed. Right as my appointment that I wanted like a month for was coming, I came down with covid and Katie was SO flexible and kind on rescheduling. She is clearly a boss so she books up pretty quickly so I had to wait another month for her services. She color matched my brows PERFECTLY and got the shape spot on. Like I said, I already had decent shape but she made them look so defined. I'm not going to lie the healing was quite annoying. You can't get them wet, sweat etc and with the Louisiana heat, it was very hard not to sweat. If I decide to do microblading again I am definitely going to get it done in the winter so I don't need to stress every time I go outside. The scary part about microblading is after the scabs fall off they lighten a lot & then darken back up. Katie eased my anxiety and they looked nice after the first session. I went back for my perfecting session 6 weeks later & they are just about healed now. The healing process was also a lot easier the second time around. I am happy with my results and would recommend Katie to anyone, especially redheads!

She even texted me the day of the appointment when an earlier appointment slot became available, which I happily took. When I got there, she got started with me right away (despite me interrupting her break because I was a little early, sorry Katie!). She was very gentle and I didn't experience any discomfort. When I finally was done and looked at my eyes, they weren't red or irritated, something I'd noticed in pics in reviews for other places. And, my lashes were BEAUTIFUL! I got a new full classic set.
