Sadly I moved but had to sing the praised of this dynamic duo! They have become an extended family to me! This is THE BEST NAIL SALON ON OAHU!!! Very affordable... takes venmo, cash, and credit! Amanda and Tim have never caused pain, knocked me with a drill, or rush the service they give their clients! Be prepared to feel pampered during your deluxe spa pedicure. No more ingrowns... always silky smooth soles, and wonderful conversation! Amanda will do everything in her power to make sure that your inspo nail design pic comes to life! She KNOWS her regulars color choices down to the glitter or matte finish. Tim is the most gentle soul... and uses his drill with the whisper of touches! Waxing services simple, nearly painless, and on par with any other wax shop. I only hope i can find someone in Kansas like this team.. because there are even higher standards and big shoes to fill.

I got an incredible pedicure from Nail Max. I feel bad I did not get to know the woman's name who did my toes, but she did an excellent job! I got a fun festive 40th bday bling!!! It's so epic. These are some of the best, most beautiful toe nails I've ever had done. The leg massage and care was phenomenal too. Will definitely be going back!

New favorite!! My little sister and I came in last minute today, Amanda and her husband got us in right away and were so accommodating of us being on a time crunch. The attention to detail, Amanda picked out the cutest color for me and did my sister's just like the photo!! SO clean and comfortable in there, chill vibes and good conversation they even let my sister pick what to watch which I thought was so sweet. I'm obsessed with the results and will be back!! 10/10 recommend

After almost 3 years off the island, I couldn't wait to return to my favorite nail salon and I was NOT disappointed!!! The salon was updated and had a plethora of new nail colors.. just about any color you could want under the sun. Tim and Amanda were their cheerful and awesome selves and in great spirits! Tim is always my go-to for my nail needs and Amanda for ANYTHING pedicure!!! I never feel rushed and have always been satisfied. This salon is immaculate!!! I NEVER have to worry about unsanitary conditions as Tim and Amanda are always cleaning and sterilizing. Bigger salons are not always better and definately in this case, great things come in small packages!! Highly recommend! Would give 1000 stars if I could!

Loved this place! Run by a wonderful and very friendly couple. Took their time and did not feel rushed. Good prices especially considering how much time was spent on each person. $35 for a basic pedicure and $40 for a gel manicure. Would 10/10 recommend. Note: there's parking around the building, do not park in jack in the box parking lot. Located on the second floor. read more

It's on the 2nd floor above what use to be Molly's Smokehouse/BBQ. This is a wonderful place ran by a lovely couple. I needed an easy pedicure but my friend need a full pedi/mani overhaul. They gave us some ono hot tea while we were taken care of. This has got to be the best pedi I've ever had. There woman was so meticulous and made sure my nails came out well. A couple weeks later and they still look great. I don't know how to explain it because most pedis are quick and simple and sometime uncomfortable during the process. But not here, they were both very detailed oriented and made sure our nails looked great and felt great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Not to mention, the best price I've ever paid on Oahu. EXCELLENT PRICES! Call ahead as they are a small shop! *Please don't be rude if you don't have an appt and they cannot accommodate you. That happened while we were there and it's not pono. ** Also, this shop gets mixed up with another nail salon nearby. Please double check. read more

First time visiting today, and we will definitely be back! The salon is run by the sweetest husband-and-wife team, and everything was so clean, welcoming, and comfortable. They even put on a kids' movie for my girls to watch while we all got our nails done, which was such a thoughtful touch. My youngest got a gel manicure with designs, my older daughter got a full acrylic set with French tips and 3D designs, and I got a Gel-X set with chrome polish. We were all so happy with how our nails turned out! The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the quality of the work, and we never felt rushed at all. They really took their time with each of us. By far one of the best nail salon experiences we've had recently. Highly recommend! read more

I don't do my nails often, but every time I do my nails I'll always go to this spot.. I am in love with how my nails came out. They are super friendly!! It's not like other nail salons where you know the workers are talking about you. She's been in that kind of environment & she said she didn't like that. Maybe that's Howcome she rather just work with her husband.. Anyways I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want a good nail salon. Definitely make an appointment before you go in since it's just her & her husband. They are really nice people! & that's what I love about going there. The prices aren't as expensive. I've been committed to coming here for 2 years. Time and time again, I am very impressed. They do a great job at making sure you leave happy and with exactly what you want. The wife and husband duo are accommodating and very friendly. The place is clean. Parking is hard to find if you're new to the area but it's totally worth it. They always remember what color I got last time & what I didn't like from the time before then. I look forward to my regular mani/pedi. read more

It's set up sort of like a bar with the chairs facing the one TV. easy to sit down next to someone and chat. Or just watch TV. The place is clean and the owners are down to earth and friendly. read more

Mr. Tim and Ms. Amanda p90 very professional. On several occasions, they have taken good care of me and my wife by providing the best service possible. Both are awesome nail technicians who believe in nail care and maintenance. I can say we have never witness them become irrate with a customer, on occasion, we would have to remind them to collect payment for services rendered. I would recommend there shop to anyone. read more

I have been a client of Amanda's and Tim's for many years and I have never left disappointed. They have given me noting but excellent service from removing dry cuticles to taking extra care to my feet. They both take pride in their work and it shows. I am often doing something physical and I would often break my nails easy..so Amanda made them a little thicker to withstand my life style and they still look amazing.. Highly recommend them 10/10 read more

Worst nail salon I've ever been to. The lady with brunette long hair and tall complained that my tip was too low and threw a fit. She literally threw a chair at me and wouldn't let me leave the store until I gave her more money. Not only did she insult me but physically and mentally abuse me. Never read more

A little bit pricey for their service! I got my nails done here. I had fake nails on and it took her forever to get it off. She didn't even get all of it out and I got a clear pink gel polish so you still can see the leftovers at the end of my nails. The polish was uneven, one side of the nail is thicker than the other and it curves in. read more

Only place that hasn't gave me little cuts on my fingers while doing them, this place is the definition of team work as a couple, her and her husband does she an amazing job running this place, such affordable prices here! This is my new go to.My nails are always done how I want them! I found Nails Max on Yelp. Looking for a place in Wahiawa on a Monday afternoon is crucial. The 2 main shops are totally booked. I was like Man ‍. Luckily I used GPS, because it kept saying that I am here. I drove around the block 3 times before noticing Nails Max on the 2nd level of the Mini Complex. Parking was different. I parked at Jack in the box and went upstairs. I was greeted by a man. Who was really courteous. His wife began my services and he fixed my chipped toe nails. They shop is quite and relaxing. The music playing was all instrumental, no words. This way you could really enjoy the services being rendered. Wow, the Pedicure Deluxe $35 is truly worth it. The massage that your legs and feet will receive is out if this world. Anyone who knows me, knows I enjoy a good massage. My feet and toes are on point. Ready to take on the world. Nails max is the best nail salon. Amanda and her husband always provide the best services. I have been coming here for 8 years and always recommend my friends and family. The facility's are clean and they always play good music or ask if i would like to watch something on Netflix. I recently took her course 1 day work shop and beginners course. She explains how a typical appointment would be like from the time the client walks in until they walk out the door. She went in depth about the anatomy of the skin, technique, color theory, different needles and depth, and different pressures, different ways of shading/outlining, how to take before & after and the entire process of mapping etc) Coming from someone who has no experience with a machine, never had any background in beauty, I walked out the first class feeling confident in myself that it is possible for me to do this. Before I left she had me practice on latex which I gave her a full set of eyebrows which surprised myself and sissy. Shortly after I left I practiced and practiced day in and day out & let me tell you my first sheet of latex was not that great (but as expected as someone who has no experience) I texted sissy a photo and asked for her advice and within minutes she's replies with tips for me on how to better my work. It was too saturated, you can tell my pressure in some areas was heavy & the pixels was not there. After following her tips, the next set I did was much better than before. Moral of the story for this is that there is infinite support with sissy. She wants to see every student succeed in this industry. I had a demo day we're sissy shows me exactly what goes on. I'm a visual learner, so seeing how it's done from start to finish really put things in perspective of what to expect during an appointment. 7/16/21 I had my model day and I was beyond nervous, but she calmed me down and was encouraging me that I can do this and I believed her. I felt at ease knowing she was there supervising me. I'm gonna post photos of my two models below and this will show you that will the right instructor and the amount of time you put in yourself to get better every day, this is the outcome! Sissy is a great mentor and I am so happy I went with her. She believes in you as a person and upcoming artist even when you don't. I love nails max ever since I got to the island. I usually am always going to so many different nail places because I can never find one I am comfortable at and actually feel welcome. This changed when I went into nails max. Every time I make an appt I get seen right away and my nails are the best quality I have ever had. I definitely get my moneys worth and I am treated with respect. This place is my get away from the world and its the only way I spend my me time. Finally I found a great business I can stick with. I just moved to Wahiawa a few months ago and I tried all different nail salons in Wahiawa. I did not like them at all. One of my friend told me about Nails Max. They took time to take off on my old set, not like other shops just ripped off. They did a beautiful job on my new set. The pedicure was awesome with long massage and the lady did very detail on my cuticles and calluses. They charged only $95 for new set of gel and pedicure gel polish. It was very affordable price.
