We talked some story while she did my brows and BOOM, was pau. I'm updating on the healing process after the first round of ombre powder brows over previous work (ombre powder and microblading by other artists). I followed the procedures given to me by Jee. LOVED that she texted them to me along with care cards included in my aftercare package. I used ice packs, that helped with the swelling and sunburn sensation a lot. My skin type is oily and with the previous artist that did ombre powder brows, a lot of the ink fell out quickly within months. So to help with ink retention we did the aftercare a bit differently. After a while the normal healing process happened. This includes flaking, peeling and itching. This lasted about 4 weeks for me until the final scab fell off. Then the brows appeared lighter for a while because new skin was growing under the scabs. Then finally the color came back. I asked for more dramatic make-up looking brows instead of natural ones because I was afraid of them fading again so fast. And she did not disappoint! I've been there 3x now and each appointment she's taken her time to get to know me personally! I recently took her course 1 day work shop and beginners course. She explains how a typical appointment would be like from the time the client walks in until they walk out the door. She went in depth about the anatomy of the skin, technique, color theory, different needles and depth, and different pressures, different ways of shading/outlining, how to take before & after and the entire process of mapping etc) Coming from someone who has no experience with a machine, never had any background in beauty, I walked out the first class feeling confident in myself that it is possible for me to do this. Before I left she had me practice on latex which I gave her a full set of eyebrows which surprised myself and sissy. Shortly after I left I practiced and practiced day in and day out & let me tell you my first sheet of latex was not that great (but as expected as someone who has no experience) I texted sissy a photo and asked for her advice and within minutes she's replies with tips for me on how to better my work. It was too saturated, you can tell my pressure in some areas was heavy & the pixels was not there. After following her tips, the next set I did was much better than before. Moral of the story for this is that there is infinite support with sissy. She wants to see every student succeed in this industry. I had a demo day we're sissy shows me exactly what goes on. I'm a visual learner, so seeing how it's done from start to finish really put things in perspective of what to expect during an appointment. 7/16/21 I had my model day and I was beyond nervous, but she calmed me down and was encouraging me that I can do this and I believed her. I felt at ease knowing she was there supervising me. I'm gonna post photos of my two models below and this will show you that will the right instructor and the amount of time you put in yourself to get better every day, this is the outcome! For years I have been trying to grow my eyebrows out with absolutely no luck. I have tried many different things but nothing seemed to work. I began hearing really good things about Microblading, but I wasn't sure if it was for me. My daughter began following Kamryn who works out of Studio 6 Salon and Spa and really liked her work. My daughter had her eyebrows done first and it looked beautiful and very natural so I decided to give it a go. Kamryn was great..... she took her time explaining the procedure and answered all my questions. When Kamryn was done I love my new eyebrows. I liked that she followed my natural brow shape to re create my brows. I believe everyone has their own natural brow shape and should stay true to their shape. Kamryn explained that first my brows will peel then get darker, but will eventually look softer. In six weeks my brows will be touched up and will be given more density. I am very impressed with how real they look and can't wait to see the final product. I have since returned for my touch up and loving my brows even more.
