Can't recommend Captain Gordon, Christie, and Pari enough!!!!!…read moreI've gotten 20 piercings and 2 tattoos done by Time Bomb since 2019 and have had nothing but amazing experiences every single visit. Can't forget to mention that their shop is filled with the "Curiosities" portion which will entertain you for hours. I spot new trinkets and oddities every time I'm there. If I had to use one word to describe operations it would be "CLEAN". Their sanitation protocols are beyond medical standards and the term "professionalism" would be an understatement. Even as a seasoned piercing client, they're all still diligent in ensuring I'm updated and informed on aftercare practices as well. Advanced piercings, helix, lobe, and nipples, a wrist tattoo, and spine piece later, I'll always chose Time Bomb as my body mod providers. A full bodysuit tattoo piece is in the near future, and I can't wait!!!! I would and still do recommend Time Bomb to everyone I come across. Services: Ear piercing, Color ink tattoos, Tattoo aftercare, Piercings, Tattoo design, Female tattoos, Tattoos Requested style: Custom, easy to heal, low maintenance, and consultation in placement were all part of the process in piercing and tattoo decisions. Their team of professionals were able to answer all my questions and give sound advice in how I'd experience and heal from the new pieces. Cleanliness: I've walked into doctor's offices less clean than Time Bomb's shop. They take cleanliness and sanitation to a new level and it helps make the experience feel safe and cared for Artists: My piercers were Alden, Jasper, Christie, Captain, and Pari, tattoo artists are John and Captain. I'd recommend all of them, although Pari was supernaturally fast with her piercing experience (3 helix's). No joke, it took under 5 minutes to place, prep, pierce, and clean up. The piercings themselves took maybe a minute and a half. Both Pari and Christie made the piercings hurt less than expected and have such a skilful and delicate touch that they're experts in their industry.

I needed a perfectionist to put "nothing beautiful without struggle" in Latin on my arm/shoulder…read more My usual Timebomb tattoo artist, Marcus, to his credit said, "You want Kyle for this". Kyle was hyper-accurate and precise. It looks perfect, and I mean perfect. He had a sign at his station that said "big tippers go to heaven" . I'm in. -- Dave

AVOID THIS PLACE. OR REGRET IT LATER…read more I have tattoos all over my body from many shops in different cities & not once have I experienced the amount of unprofessionalism & resulting disgust from a tattoo shop. A few months ago I was in town and wanted to remember the moment with a tattoo. I was greated by a tattooer and shop girl who were pleasant and nice to talk to. The shop minimum was the highest I've seen but I liked who was going to do it, so I agreed. Before I left, I was assured I could return for a touchup when I was back in the area. Well today I returned and politely said I had work done here before & it needed a touchup. Though the guy I spoke with was kind, there was a woman whom I never saw before who was unnecessarily rude. She interjected saying well I'm the only woman here & we have a 90 day policy for touchups. I explained this is news to me as I've never been told that from there or any other shops. She goes on to puff her cigarette at a workstation and say well we tell everyone. I again stated I was not and left the shop with a tattoo they did that needs a touch up and vow to make sure those who come by here to just stay away & go somewhere else. This is just the first of the many calls I've made with a complaint. Winchester doesn't need this garbage wasting our space & taking our money for shitty work.

DO NOT GO HERE! It's expensive for shitty tattoos. I PAID $150 for a $60 tattoo. The artist who did…read moremy tattoos name was Aaron and he was SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. He made my mother run to the bank to pay him in cash because he was out of receipt paper, He talked about how he had robbed a gas station, how he has disturbing sexual intercourse with his wife, told me the tattoo I was gettng was immature and I should "get something that fits my sexiness" and said he felt uncomfortable doing a hip tattoo on me. All of this occured right in front of my mother when I was 17 years old. Yes,I was young and very inexperienced, but you can't change facts. I honestly have nothing good to say abut the experience.

I initially came here to get my ears repierced after they closed up during my postpartum period. I…read moreswallowed the high price tag expecting premium service, but their customer service is completely rigid and lacking any basic empathy. Be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars once you factor in the premium jewelry they require you to purchase. Their piercing appointments are scheduled for an hour, yet the actual piercing only takes about 5-10 minutes. A significant portion of the appointment is spent discussing and selling jewelry. The real problem came with the follow-up downsizing appointment. After they emailed me to schedule it, the earliest availability was about a month out. As a new mom coordinating childcare for a baby and making a 40-minute drive through NoVA traffic is not easy. The downsizing appointment itself is only scheduled for 20 minutes, which made what happened next even more frustrating. Unfortunately, there was a lot of traffic on a Saturday and I arrived 12 minutes late. When I got there, a front desk lady met me at the door and refused to let me in. My appointment was canceled on the spot because I hadn't called or texted to say I was running late. I was driving and not checking my phone, which apparently didn't matter. There was no flexibility, no understanding, and no sympathy whatsoever for any circumstances. I was told another client was waiting in their car. So after waiting a month for an appointment, arranging my schedule around a baby, and driving 40 minutes, I left without receiving any service at all. Their policies may be their policies, but customer service matters too. The experience felt cold, inflexible, and completely dismissive. Given how much time is built into their appointments and how heavily they emphasize jewelry sales, I was surprised there was absolutely no flexibility for a customer who was a little late due to traffic. There are plenty of piercing studios out there, and after this experience, I would absolutely not waste time here. The prices are already high, and the lack of consideration for customers and new moms made me feel like a lesser person.

So I had to let them heal before I could get it done right. I had mostly had Jen do the piercings and the downsizing when it came time. She always gave feedback and was very patient with my questions as well. Tobias was the last person I saw for what was supposed to be a last downsize before I'm set until they heal, but they recommended I stick with the current post. So I actually didn't have to have anything else done. Now, I'm just waiting for my helixes to heal! Here are some more information that may help you determine if Brilliance Piercing is the studio for your piercing needs: they require appointments for any type of service (no drop-ins/walk-ins); they only work with jewelry they have for sale (I believe this is to ensure that the quality of the jewelry is top-notch and they know exactly the metal content - optimal healing conditions); when you have an appointment, you can't bring anyone with you; their jewelry are quite pricey, but not much more than other studios around. Their team is always upbeat, friendly, patient and knowledgeable: they will answer any question you may have and also always ensure you are aware of anything important regarding your piercing after care, etc. They have a wide selection of jewelry appropriate for whatever piercing you're getting! I'm happy with my experience and will come back for more piercings when I'm ready! I trust their professional opinions and also feel comfortable with the quality of their services. Definitely recommend.
