Family owned and operated. My nails are strong, the shape is perfect, the color selection was great. It's been a few days since my appointment and I have no complaints. went back after three years because I had bad experience three years ago... Didn't seal the bottom of my nails so hair would get underneath etc.... Went back November 7 24.. asked for a dip Jose kept trying to talk me into tips. I said no I haven't had tips in three years -so finally get my dip done with two tips. I didn't want the huge and fat. The side aren't even dipped all the way to the sides... So I called redo or fix my nails no problem of course ... So to make a very long story short, she(Terry) tried to redo them. They're not as fat but now they're peeling again for $62.50 plus $12 tip very disappointed I expected better. I won't be back very disappointed. read more

I suffered from toe nail fungus for years. And was so embarrassed of my nails. I went for very expensive treatment and finally got rid of the fungus. I walked into pretty nail and told the lady of my issues with the past fungus and asked her to use sanitized and new files. I would have paid for it but i wasn't even given that option. At all the salons i have been to in the past 3 months that i started going to the salon again, they used STERILIZED tools. So the lady said ok i will get new file. I sit back and relax and see she goes into the dirty little bucket on the floor and uses that on my nail. I said excuse me is that new? She said no but it's ok. I'm wearing gloves. I started getting upset. And said ONLY NEW OR STERILIZED tools please. She goes into the back comes out with this definitely not new tool. And one more time i repeat myself. Now i have a "new file". Why does she go in the damn dirty bucket and pull out another dirty tool and starts scrubbing my toes. Now I'm angry. I wish i got up as i was wanting to do and just left. But i said just put the polish on and no more tools. 2 weeks later i have this infection on my toe, and feel pain in my toe nails which is the sign that fungus is there. Unfreaking believable. I am contacting the health department and will see how i can proceed legally. I wish i read all the reviews before i went. This place is non caring of spreading disease, especially during these times, shame on them. Now i got to deal with this fungus all over again. I will never ever go for a pedicure again. read more

I decided to give Pretty Nails a second chance for a fill. Even though my first visit didn't result in a very good one, the pedicure was nice. Two days after my second visit, a few nails on each hand began to peel. Within 4 days, my thumb nail had completely peeled. I returned to have my nails repaired. The guy who I had the only two visits was not there. The woman who helped me was not friendly and seemed annoyed that I was returning for a repair. They were busy, so I offered to wait. She used the brush to touch up the ends of the few nails that the polish was coming off. On the thumb nail, which had completely peeled off, she only applied polish and didn't apply new acrylic to, so the color was completely different and my nail is very thin. So, within another day, it peeled off, and every other nail as continued to peel as well. Obviously, I don't recommend Pretty Nails for this reason. read more

Was not impressed at all .... I have a forever scar from a chemical burn. normally when you have acrylics they file them by using the machine and there are times with the friction of the machine cause me heat and burns maybe 3 seconds, just like when your doing gel nails and placing them under the UV lights it's a quick burn then goes away . As the man is filing my nails using the machine it started burning and he tried to stop the burn with some knock off bottle never seen before probably expired , the bottle says "Stop itch burns" drops. That burning pain increased and I complained about it and they just tell me "it's ok". They never discounted anything and even though they told me to come back they will take care of me they pretended they didn't recognize me. So here is results to their work. I had to attend to urgent care after more then 5 hrs of pain and I had to pay out of my pocket! Lord knows I'm not making this up read more

I was not impressed. I mean it's like cheap and affordable but I feel like I could get the same quality service at Walmart for 1/2 the price. The guy didn't even ask if I wanted my nails cut...they broke within days as did my sister's. She got the dip nails and they were bumpy. Well there are so many nail places in Cape Coral it's hard to know where to go. I went off the advise of a Local. I was not impressed with the shop. They really need a good air filter to help with the odor. They were not very personable. Just felt like I was another customer. They spoke poor English. And their language to each other frequently. And I got tired of all 3 tv's playing the DNA court. I had my 9 yr old daughter with me to have a spa day while on vacay and I didn't think she needed to watch the immoral show. Have to say it was the worse manicure I got not bad pedi. My daughters polish all lifted off by the next day. It cost me $85 for a gel mani and pedi plus my daughters polish on toes and nails. I was recommended to Rosie's place too. Wish I would have went there. Not a pleasant or enjoyable experience. read more

Not one bit impressed with the service or my nails. After two weeks, I had to have them redone. I like getting a color tip and having them shorter. But because she was in a hurry I believe she pretended she didn't know what I was talking about. Way too expensive for the crappy job that was done. I visit Cape Coral several times per year, but I'll wait until I get home next time to get them filled by people that know what I'm talking about and what they are doing. internet price stated $35 for mani-pedi, but when I called they told me it was $40. Still thinking this was o.k. I went to salon. I wanted shellac polish and was then told it would be $50. I was still o.k. with this. went to checkout - bill was $63!!! "Oh you got french tip done, so more. Really?!! $13 dollars more? And the guy who did my shellac got it all over the sides and cuticles, which causes a hardened "ridge" of sorts, that when nail starts growing out it catches and tears on things and pulls polish off nails. I've only had the polish on for 5 days and it looks horrible!! Worst shellac mani I've ever had, and way over priced. Last time we were visiting Cape Coral we weren't able to get in this nail salon on a time crunch and ended up going somewhere (I won't name where) terrible. We made appointments this time and walked right in and were seated right away. I LOVED that they use the liners in the pedicure bowls. The place is clean but it's just an added bonus. My sister and I were both very impressed with our pedicures and the price. My niece came with us and they painted her toes as well! She loved it! I would recommend this place for a pedicure (since that is all I had) and call ahead to make an appointment if possible! They do have a lot of gel colors as well which is nice to know before going to get a no chip mani! read more

LAMEST mani pedi ever. took less than an hour for everything. what? a pedi is supposed to be an hour and half my cuticles are still hanging. seriously? sanitation is questionable at best. watched owner put tools back into open sterile packaging and watched lady reuse them on next person as if they were sterile. my poor kiddo got gel nails and he got the polish all over her cuticles causing her to get burned and crusty cuticles. when i asked and showed him he said no it's ok and i refused his offer to redo it again..really? like id let i redo her nails. not happy at all. so sad that it's so difficult to find a good nail salon here. wish i could post photos. Just left this salon. My girlfriend and I had a horrible experience. We popped in around 5:20 there was one lady and a man working. The lady who wasn't working on any clients or customers told us to come back at 6pm.. COOL No big deal we go next store to the bar grab a drink let 40mins go by and head back to the Salon. By that time 2 other customers walked in after us and were serviced before us ...... WOW ...... we waited and we were patient we were understanding and then Jose the guy worker had a visitor come in and ask him what was taking him so long. This was at 6:30 the salon wasn't supposed to close until 7pm so my girlfriend and I just left.. we were very embarrassed, they had horrible customer service and this situation makes me very angry. There are way to many salons around to be treated in this manner, they clearly didn't care how they treated us do not go here it's not worth it. read more

I went in for no chip manicure one day later my nails started chipping. I know this is not acceptable. I called salon the next day to fix the problem. They tried to fix problem but knowing I was from out of town they put a band-aid on problem. How five days later after paying 35.00 for a no chip manicure, All my nails are chipped. She began speaking in her language, however her facial display towards me left no disguise! She was plain downright RUDE! So I confronted her then all she would say is "it's ok". I scheduled an appointment here to pass a little time while my car was getting serviced in South Cape. It is located in a small plaza right off of Cape Coral Parkway, next to Nevermind. The salon looks clean and I was greeted right away. No complimentary drinks were offered. I told the technician that I had gel polish on my toes before we started. Typically the salons I've gone to will soak off the gel polish, but she pulled out the grinding tool for removal. I've never seen that done before. She apparently didn't do a good job with it because I can see where the old polish was under my new polish. The massage chair was typical for a nail salon, nothing special. I always judge a pedicure by the quality of foot/leg massage and sadly, she didn't put much time or effort into this part of the service. The one thing that impressed me was once she painted my big toe she asked if the color I picked was OK. I'm glad she did, because I wasn't happy with it, so she allowed me to pick a different one. However, the rest of the service was completely under average and I probably won't go back. There are many similar salons in town that do a much better job for the price. read more
