Stopped by Purdy Patty because I was craving a smashburger. The smashburger was solid, the prices were good, and the people working there were really nice. The restaurant itself was clean and had a good overall vibe. The fries were honestly the highlight for me. They were easily the best part of the meal and really hit the spot. The food here was delicious! Came here for the first time today and was very happy. The restaurant is very clean and very modern. Everything looks new and very taken care of. The service was great. The young lady who took our order was great and very helpful. We had several questions and she took the time to answer them for us and didn't make us rush like other places do. We ordered some of their specials like buy one get one free on the single smash burgers and smash fries. We also ordered a spicy chicken sandwich which was very good. We will definitely be returning. Burgers are not my top pick; however, I love me a really good smash burger. If you guys haven't checked it out then you need to stop by to try it out. If you're not from Delano and you're looking for a burger spot in the area then this is the one. The burgers and fries are seasoned well and if you have a sweet tooth then you need to make sure to get the banana shake. Trust me! You'll regret it if you don't try that banana shake! Any time I've visited they didn't take too long, so if you're in a rush you don't have to worry about the long wait. There's plenty of room, so if you're dining in with a group they have a lot of tables. The service is great, the staff is really nice and if you have questions about anything they'll help you out. This the third time trying this place, the food is not bad, the burgers are pretty juicy. I'm not sure if it's juice or grease that runs out of the wrapper but either way the smash burgers are pretty good. The fries are a little salty, but not to bad. We were in the area after visiting Sequoia and was looking for something fast we could eat back at the hotel. We saw the billboard and thought, why the heck not and thus - came to visit. It's located in a rather small plaza but it's really lit up so you can't miss it. We went inside and ordered on the kiosk. We ordered the smash burger combo, and the chicken tender combo. Order the waffle fries! They're perfectly crispy. We also were able to order an unsalted patty for our dog. The food came pretty quickly and they have a fountain available for your drink options. We bought it back to our hotel room and just devoured it lol. It was super good! The smash burger was well made and had the perfectly savoury flavor. Pretty decent joint in Delano. I had the Double smash combo with waffle fries. You pay extra $0.78 for cheese and you have to ask for the lettuce and tomato. The Double was pretty filling for being a smash burger. My only gripe and my husband's too...he doesn't like sauce and they had it on the burger. Im okay with sauce, but it was leaking all of the wrapper. If I took off the wrapper or didn't notice it, I would have been covered in sauce. It was a little messy. Good but messy. My husband had seen a few videos of this place and he was on a mission to go try it out. In the little complex where Pretty Patty is located, there isn't a lot of parking spots to choose from and the lot size isn't very big so you may have to find some street parking. The place was new and clean and smelled really good. Looking over the menu, it was nice that they gave you a choice between regular or waffle cut fries without an additional price. We ordered our mean and waited a few minutes for our order. We were impressed with the size of the patty, it was so big, we were able to fold it overland make our single patty a double. The burger it's was good, my personal taste buds felt it could have used a little bit more flavor on the meat and if the fancy pickles were switched out for a regular dill pickle which may help the lack of flavor in the meat patty. Overall, we were pleased with our meal and decided to grab a soft cone on our way out. This to me was more impressive than the burger. The cone was larger in size from a standard cone, there was even a difference in feel and quality to it. I know that may sound kind of weird but their was a freshness to this cone that I have never experienced in all my ice cream eating years. So for me it was a big thumbs up on the ice cream. Anyhow, since we don't live in the area, I'm not sure if we would frequent this place but its not too far off the freeway so if you're traveling, it would be a decent place to get a quick meal. read more

I'm out here from the Bay Area, smash burgers are still kind of new to me. I'm sure we have some places in the Bay Area but I haven't really been out like that so I was happy to see a couple of TikTok videos reviewing this place and the food looked great. So today I came with my little niece and I ordered a smash burger that had bacon and fresh avocado along with loaded waffle fries. The burger was pretty darn good and the fries were okay. My niece has a regular burger and fries. Overall with the food, I'd give an 7.5 out of 10. The staff gets a 10 out of 10 for being patient, respectful, kind and knowledgeable of the menu. The place is clean, smells good and has ample comfortable seating. While we were eating, the lady brought over a complimentary strawberry milkshake which was really nice of them. Pretty Patty opened on January 18 so as of my visit it's been open about 2 weeks. Menu is single, double or triple smash burger, hot chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. There also a soft serve ice cream machine with vanilla & chocolate, offered as cones, sundaes or shakes. One orders, is given a receipt with an order number and a cup for self service soft drinks. The also have an app for ordering and an iPad screen to type in your own order. I ordered a #2 combo, which was a double smash burger with cheese, chose waffle fries instead of regular fries and a drink - $17.04. The meat was good, completely cooked through and a bit on the dry side. Bun was fresh and the burger comes with pickles and a sauce which I would guess is a mixture of mayo and mustard. The fries were fine, but I would prefer them a bit crisper, absolutely no "crack" when one bites into the fry. The dining area was clean, nice decor, with music playing. Delano has grown so much that I'm starting to not even recognize it anymore. But in a good way. This shop in that plaza has changed so many times but I'm pretty sure this one is going to stick around. Once walking in, everything appears to be decorated as an old burger/diner but more modern with the LED's. Ordered smash burgers for the whole family with waffle fries. It wasn't too busy so the wait was only about 5-7 minutes. The burger was so tender and flavorful. My gf just kept raving that "it just melts in your mouth" consistently. In my opinion Pretty Patty is overrated, like the smash burgers are small and the sauce is bland but the spicy chicken sandwich is delicious and is the only good part of Pretty Patty while the prices are over the top, the paper cups are smaller, feel flimsy and cheap, the fries are okay and extremely salty (I don't mind it being salty), the ice cream was pretty good but the waffle cones tasted stale like if they were left out in the open for a good day or 2. There are other fast food burger joints that have better pricing for combos and they give them in a large amounts, like the cups are 2 times bigger, fries in length wise larger, and burgers are bigger than Pretty Patty and for the price like 12$ and like I said Pretty Patty has over the top pricing *cough cough* 14$ not including taxes. So yeah if you want to try Pretty Patty I suggest to only get the Spicy chicken sandwich but get the fries and drink somewhere else for better pricing and quality. I went in about an hour before they closed to order food for my family on a weekend. It was A LOT of food like... A LOT, A LOT. But the cashiers and the cooks were so nice and got our food out within 15-20 min. I appreciate them for their kind service and the food was 10/10. Food was okay nothing too crazy. Place felt a little lonely being on that side of town. The chicken was a little burnt but okay overall. Fries need a little more salt. Prices are definitely way too high, maybe to make up for all the decor and marketing for the place. They should stick to making only burgers. Leave the chicken to the chicken place by Walmart or Dave's hot chicken. Probably wont be going back again only because of the crazy pricing. The restaurant has a modern ambiance, fluorescent white lights, modern led signs, and bright blue dining booths. I understand that the restaurant is new, as it opened less than a month ago, but there are some improvements that need to be made. Beginning with the customer service, the first time I went to Pretty Patty was 01/29, eleven days after their opening, and I was dissatisfied with the service I received. When I walked in, I received no acknowledgement from none of the staff. When I approached the cashiers to order, I still hadn't received acknowledgement; therefore, I had to approach them myself. I made my order, one smash-burger combo, and a three piece hot chicken tender combo. Keep in mind, when I walked in the establishment was not busy, sure there were a couple of people, but not an overwhelming amount. It took me 30 minutes to receive my order, of course with a side of attitude from the cashier. When I got home and tried the food, it was good, but not extraordinary, the quality of the food is decent, but it doesn't match the prices. I paid $27 for two combos, which is utterly ridiculous. Overall, I hope to see Pretty Patty improve as their business continues to grow, but I'm not sure if I will be coming back soon. read more
