What they don't tell you about olive trees is how fast they grow! We have 5 olive trees in our yard and they need a serious trimming about once a year - got a few quotes through yelp and PRG was the lowest option and had the quickest availability. Requested an estimate for the removal of 3 palm trees and some small shrubs. Return call came about 15 minutes later and followed up with an onsite visit within 30 minutes. Satisfied with the estimate and work was scheduled for the next day at 7:30 am. Eduardo arrived at 7 am and did the shrub first. At 7:30 he started with the tree removal. He worked alone but was able to remove the trees and their stumps. Cleaned up the yard when done Pleased with their work and good value for the money. Quality of work was great. They did a good job removing the trees efficiently - in and out in under 4 hours. After grinding down the stumps, I could not tell there were ever any trees there. Rafael and his crew did an outstanding job for us. They trimmed our large front yard tree and cleared a very overgrown backyard slope that included multiple trees and large bushes as well as planted new ground covering ice plants to fill the space. They even went above and beyond and fixed our broken fence and added an extra sprinkler at no added cost. Rafael also noticed that we had a water leak, which we knew about and planned to arrange with our regular gardening service. However, Rafael offered to fix it on the spot. We had a very tall, 70 year old Aleppo pine in our backyard which had grown over our and our neighbor's roofs, posing a potential threat to property and safety. Since the tree was too deep in the lot to be removed by PRG's crane, Raphael and his crew used multiple ropes and pulleys to manually swing large, full limbs over onto our property, without touching our power line, our roofs, and prevented anything from falling into our neighbor's yard. I've never seen a tree crew work so professionally, so energetically together. Their work ethic was amazing to watch, as they expertly rigged the job, cut down large limbs, skillfully dropped them to the ground, quickly cut everything to smaller pieces, removed the residue. then removed the stump so we could plant a new tree. Another Yelp WIN!!! I first heard about PRG on the Nextdoor app, but we all know how weird ND can get, so I checked here and saw all of the great reviews and gave them a call. We've lived in our home for just over 3 years, so I didn't choose the palm-tree-ownership life, it chose me when we bought this home. I've somehow always waited until November/December when my hatred for these trees is at its absolute prime because I am so tired of cleaning up all the stuff they dump and an absolute constant mess.
