The office itself is very clean, up to date, and they have toys and tv for the kids. They take most insurance. First Family Dental also reminds you of your appointment a few days before and the day of via text and email. This is very important to me because sometimes I tend to forget no matter how many reminders I set in my calendar. Jessica made everything easy for me with her quick responses and kept me on track. The hygienist did a great job hands down 5stars same with Leslie and her team mate made sure I was well every chance they had. They work great with the doctor! Everyone and even the manager had been very polite, its like as if they are 100% real people. Either they get paid very well or they love what they do! (Hint for Dr Amir) They answered every question and made my visit welcomed and at home. I couldn't answer with my mouth full of spit, pillow block, and few other things lol... But the assistants and Dr. Amir were very attentive and cared about my well being during dental procedures. Cons: Remember I said I felt at home? Yes, I went in on a very pact date, Christmas Eve. You expect them to tell you everything they are going to do to you prior to consenting to any type or surgery right? But that was one thing that was never mentioned. The lady that comes in to charge you and claims to be the office manager is the the rudest person in that place. When she explains the charges she tries to tell you everything quick like she's obviously trying to make you feel rushed before so you can sign quickly. When asked questions she barely answers and now I see why. When I called back to ask why I was being charged for a bone graft the lady named Claudia who I'm sure was the same lady I dealt with due to her tone and attitude in her voice began acting very hostile, extremely rude and basically couldn't give a straight answer. Her reasoning was, we charged you that because you got it done. Now I looked at videos of what a bone replacement graft is and my procedure looked nothing like that and again was never mentioned. Anyway, learning experience. Positive things: the staff ( besides that awful woman) were very nice and welcoming. I dealt with the dentist that extracted my tooth and a different one when I went back for the follow up and both very nice and professional, answered all my questions. I didn't know about the bone graft at this time until after I left the follow up if not that would have been a definite question. I would say next time but I'm not so sure if I can go back to this place. Im very upset to that "manager" handled the situation.

Came to the Clinic and the Receptionists were Courteous but that's where the the Courtesy stopped. Why did it seem that all the Women at this Clinic were curt and not friendly? I get more Courtesy at any cheap Restaurant here in El Paso. I have been working in the Health Care field for more than 30 years. Patients are our Customers and are in Pain and deserve Courtesy. Maybe I can't see their Smiles because of the fd eh Masks, but none the less. Dr. Darj the (barely) loose bridge would cost the entire amount of coverage, 3 grand. How convenient. I guess as a Senior Citizen any other repair will be out of pocket.. I was told that all the other work I discussed having with my last Dentist couldn't be done. Too many missing teeth.
