I've used PRIDE Exteriors for numerous projects at my primary home as well as a n 11-building/ 20-unit condominium complex on Cape Cod for which I have been a trustee for 17 years. I wish I could give them a great rating but I could not get them to come see the roof. I called multiple times for them to inspect the roof because, after I bought the house, I noticed signs of leaking and a strong musky odor that appeared to be coming from water in between the roof and the ceiling. They were the company that installed and seemingly provided some repairs to it. Instead of scheduling an appointment with me, they went on and on about how great the prior owner of the house was and how there couldn't be a roof problem - despite never coming to inspect and see for themselves. I have since had two other roofers tell me there was a problem and hired one of them to replace the roof. read more

I can't speak about the quality of the work as they were only called to fix a leak on a roof replaced about three months ago. Professionalism and communication were terrible. Merely for asking for clarity on how to get a copy of the final report, Bob resorted to swearing, insults, and demeaning screenshots of previous conversation. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this company due to the terrible professionalism of this employee. read more

Would not recommend them. Our HOA hired Pride to diagnose and fix a leak coming from around a wooden gutter. They recommended and applied their HydroStop system, with 15 year warranty. A year later rainwater was ponding under one section of their repair and leaking into the house. We called, and they came back and removed the water, but did not repair the leak, so it is still a problem. They would not return our calls for help. Now we have a leak worse than when we started, are out what we paid, and looking for someone who can help us solve the problem. read more

The roofing work has been good. The estimator gave me $1900 estimate for repair work. The work was done and then the roof leaked. They patched it but the worker told me the entire roof needed to be replaced. So far it has not leaked again but it is hanging over my head. They billed me. The bill was paid. They billed me again and I showed they had already cashed the check. They agreed. Months later they sent me an additional bill of $2000 for the job. It took them 3 months to figure out the bill was for another job they did for me. The $2000 should have been included with the bill for that job but wasn't. The additional money was for pvc for rotting trim with I agreed to have them do. I don't understand why this was not included in the original bid. They do a good job and are quick to fix any issues with the roofing. My issue is with the estimating and the billing. read more

I don't want to wait to write this review because this is such a great company! Pride Exteriors just finished repairing our roof, knocked down a nonfunctional chimney and add new siding to three dormers of a three story house. Initially our roof was done by a friend's team from NYC 11 years ago. It has been leaking in one valley part past years and the dormer sidings also started to rot. I tried some other companies but all said to replace the whole roof. It would be a big waste, not to mention the cost. The original friend team said they would come to fix the leak for free labor but later I realized that they have no RI licence. When I was so stressed out a friend who had Pride Exteriors did her roof told me to about how good they were. When I checked on line in the evening the vice president Bob responded immediately. What made them stand out first of all is, after going up to the roof for free estimate, they would agree to REPAIR! instead of wasting a young roof. (Some gave an estimate never went up to check the problem, and simply said Oh, better replace the whole roof.) Secondly the price they offered was more affordable and with detailed plan, including materials info,etc.. Also they only required $200 deposit and you will pay the rest after the job is completed. What a trust they put on you. It also shows they are confident and they are considerate. I have to say I was a bit concerned about changing the wood shingles to vinyl siding for the dormers. But Joey convinced me that it would look fine. When it is done now we cannot be happier! They Look great and no future worries about painting up so high. Sorry I have to write a long review but I have to mention how great the siding team was: Peter who took pains to change the siding color just so I would be happy. Even though I am the one who had chosen the color in the first place. (Be aware, color could look different on paper samples and could look very different in light and shade! ) William was skillful and always wanted to do it right. No mickey mouse. Franklin and Philip were both hard working and friendly. The roof team worked only one day, led by Tim. They were great too. I was so happy to see a woman helper Luz. She was very helpful. Both team, altogether 7 people came to work before 7:30am till late afternoon. Each day they left with no debris at all on the ground. We cannot be happier and felt so fortunate that our friend recommended Pride to us. I will highly recommend to anyone watching this to hire this company with confidence. You may need to wait for a bit to get a project done. But it's worth the waiting. It's a great company with great people, from president Darren, Vice president Bob ( who would respond my text in a second. ) and to all the friendly, willing to help team members that I met. It was extremely detailed and we decided to do two add ons and the price still came in way under other quotes I received. Follow-up to my previous Review. Pride roofers did unknown work Aug 25 as part of maintenance for my condo assn. They opened my skylight domes for the first time since I've owned my condo, and did some sealing (?). It rained Aug 27, and one skylight began leaking. The leak was supposedly fixed Aug 28, but Sep 2 rained and the leak was still present at the same drip rate. Pride Exteriors said they would come again perhaps today. FACTS: No leaks for years, Pride came and banged around on the roof, then leak(s) appeared. Pride "fixed" my non-leaking roof, "sealed" a [resulting] leak, and it's still leaking a wk later. Damage to my roof, ceiling and flooring is not appreciated! "Do No Harm" "If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix it" My previous rating of Pride just moved from neutral to NEGATIVE. read more

I would never hire this company again. The owner Darrin will take your money and not show up after the first day. His workers don't speak a word of English so there's no way to communicate. The owner drives around in a brand new GMC TRUCK. A new roof was needed on our home after 23 years. We interviewed 3 contractors for the job. Some, I felt, went overboard with features that might be needed for a home along a coast, but that's not where we live. Pride Exteriors gave us 2 quotes because they mentioned that our home was a good candidate for an overlay if monies were tight. We never heard that from the other 2 contractor's which told us that Pride was looking out for our best interest and NOT the companies. We were originally going to go with overlay based upon 2 quotes which only quoted a reroof, but Pride Exteriors reroof was below both quotes. We didn't base our decision solely on the quote. Their website and the deciding factor which mentioned that they have never had a complaint in 30 years and have a great rating by the BBB. The day came and it couldn't have gone better. They were on time and worked efficiently. The prep work to protect all of my gardens around my foundation was impressive and there was always someone on the ground to keep an eye on them. I sat and watched the entire project from the stripping to the shingle application to the cleanup. I was also impressed by the safety measures this company takes to protects its workers. That, in itself, spoke volumes. In this day and age, you don't see this type of professionalism every day. I'm just glad I chose them and I would do it again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone. What a great experience. read more
