You are welcome to one free class per child. I brought them in a few weeks later. One tried ballet, and the other gymnastics. We loved the ballet class and teacher. She was so sweet. Continuing with ballet. We are at a place of just experiencing dance and having fun, not professionally performing. Our youngest liked the gymnastics. I didn't mind at all that they had 2 classes going on at once. There was plenty of room, and they didn't get in the way of one another. The teacher was kind and full of smiles. I was concerned as boy did they ever do a ton of summersaults. My daughter was new and was doing a lot without supervision, and I was waiting for her to injure herself. I wish the young teacher would have paid attention more, and did more spotting. I would have appreciated her guiding her how to do things safely and correctly such as round offs and the bars. Not that I wanted her to know how to do it perfectly, just safely. She also kept on getting kicked in the head by another classmate who was being silly and starting behind her too soon. That was totally missed by the teacher as well. Watching seeing the girls do things thry way they were without anyone guiding them, someone is bound to be hurt. Each room has a table and 2 chairs to watch through the windows. A bit small in the hallway. I tried to be thoughtful and make sure people who couldn't stand a long time had seating. They have a couple of benches when entering to sit, but you wont be able to watch the kids in their classes. A one hour class is great. We will be back for ballet, but will be going elsewhere for gymnastics.

My daughter loves coming here. She has grown in skill and confidence which is awesome!read more

The coaches are more than just coaches, they are invested in the kids and Melodie is personally involved in making sure the athletes are not only getting proper training but are being treated well. THE ONLY…read more"REMEDY" THAT I'VE SEEN IS MELODIE HIDING MY YELP AND FACEBOOK REVIEWS TO GIVE HER BUSINESS A BETTER RATING. Absolutely do not recommend! Loved this place at first, and wanted to support a new family owned business, however I sadly can't say that now. My daughter joined their tiny team in April 2017 which only had 4 kids to begin with (5 are required to compete). I tried tirelessly to get other families to join and messaged 35 people who were interested and was only able to get 1 family to sign up. 1 kid quit, leaving us with 3 left. Then another, a gym employee's son. At this point we only had 2 kids left on team. I was getting concerned there wouldn't be a team, yet I was told multiple times that the kids would still be able to compete (I was lied to). At this point I was charged for choreography (was told after I found out team would most likely be getting cancelled that I can't have the $50 payment back) and made my third uniform payment totaling $291 for the uniform package. The only things I received were shoes (was charged $100 for those when they only cost $55) and a practice set ($75). I was also told by Melodie that she doesn't up-charge (another lie). Fast forward to September 2017 and Melodie, the gym owner, sends an email out stating that she would "do one last push to try and get more kids on the tiny team, and if she wasn't able to get anyone else to sign up by the end of September then team would be cancelled". Practice was cancelled at least twice because "there was only going to be 1 kid at practice". Well I'm still paying monthly tuition so yeah, there's that... (I was offered a makeup tumbling class, but I was still annoyed I drove to practice to find out it was cancelled yet again. I was sent a Facebook message stating practice was cancelled but I didn't see it before I drove to the facility since it was sent out an hour before practice start time.) I was also told I would only get $75 refunded to me for the unreceived competition uniform. I should have been getting $211 refunded, NOT $75. I paid $291 for the uniform package and $50 for choreography, totaling $341. Breakdown: $45 for the shoes difference (because they cost $55, NOT $100), $75 for competition uniform I didn't receive, $25 for bow I didn't receive, $16 for t-shirt I didn't receive, and $50 for choreography (because there won't be a team competing to choreograph). This totals $211. On September 11, 2017 I brought my concerns to Melodie about what would be refunded she got defensive saying I was accusing her of something and threatened to remove my daughter from her tiny team. I told her I wasn't going to be threatened by her and she took it upon herself to remove my daughter, told me I wasn't welcome back to her facility, and I wouldn't be getting a refund at all. Absolutely messed up and NOT how you treat a paying customer!! These owners are liars and they stole my money. I will be pursuing legal action if I don't receive my refund from this facility. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!

We came to Aspire Kids from another gym because my son didn't like that there were no other boys in his classes. My son started in the Mighty Mites program at age 5, and after a year moved into competitive gymnastics. He has competed for 3 years now with the Junior SunDevils, and we couldn't be more pleased with his training and coaches. During COVID lockdowns, we were offered free Zoom training, and we were able to schedule virtual private lessons for my son to continue to progress. Switching to training in the day group this past year has improved my son's training and competition experience and outcome even more. The one aspect I have enjoyed as a parent with Jr SunDevils is the rapport and support among athletes and families. I have heard of a lot of drama in other sports or gyms, and not having to deal with that has been great. Parent support is great, and I have enjoyed getting to know other team families. I'm a big fan of Aspire Kids, and the boys' team. I can't speak for the girls' program or others, but we spend a lot of hours there, and my kid is happy to be there. I'm grateful to be a part of Aspire Kids Sports!
