Went on this boat last night. It was AMAZING!! The staff was super friendly, boat was clean, food and drinks was inexpensive. It was a great time!! It was my first time on a boat and I'll be honest I was scared. But I didn't even feel like I was on a boat at all!! I can't wait to go on the boat again for their 4th of July event. It will be sooo worth it!!

This is always a pleasant ride on the Hudson River. We picked a great weekend, and the weather was perfect. The only negative was that it was impossible to get a drink. One person manning the bar, and it was so slow. Tried getting a drink 3 times but each time the line was just too slow. The bar on the upper deck should be open - at least for folks who want simple things like bottled beer.

We hopped aboard for Mother's Day and highly recommend it. It's a short enough trip (from Newburgh, past Bannerman Island to West Point and back) that you can subsist on their snacks and drinks for sale but unless you have lunch planned for immediately after, you may want to bring some sandwiches. Generous champagne in the mimosas, this was a fun trip and good for kids too.

I saw their Ad on facebook one day for a "Vegan Boat Cruise" so of course I'm down for anything vegan so got Pogiebear and I tickets. The tickets were not so expensive which includes the 3 hour boat ride around the Hudson, unlimited Vegan food and Desserts, and live music for entertainment. So we drove about an hour and half from the city. All aboard the Vegan Cruise. Definitely love the view from the boat, it was such a nice change coming from the city. The nature look lovely. The crew were so helpful. I kept asking what some of the gorgeous architectures were. One of them was a military academy, which I thought looked very cool. The wind blowing our hair. We had to recreate Jack and Rose. The lady who took our pic was very nice. I don't even know where to start about the food. I left that boat happy and full. They even let is take home leftovers which I ate for lunch the next day. Definitely enjoyed myself. Will definitely be back again next year.

A beautiful summer ride up the Hudson River with fresh air & gorgeous scenery...what can be better? This is an older boat, but the interior has been nicely updated with comfortable chairs & an air-conditioned area on the lower level. There is a decent bar on board which sells snacks & drinks, but quite honestly, they need to hire a 2nd person to work it since it had a super long line of customers which I'm sure would rather be enjoying the cruise along the Hudson than waiting in a long line to purchase drinks/snacks. This is definitely a nice way to kill a few hours when in the Newburgh/Fishkill/Poughkeepsie/West Point area or a short detour should you have a shopping weekend at Woodbury Commons.

Don't go expecting a luxury yacht ride or even a mildly entertaining tour. Re order tour is B-O-R-I-N-G!! At one point the Captain of the boat took over and said a few things about West Point and he was even MORE boring! YAWN. I guess in theory it's cool to say you're taking a boat cruise, hut seriously, find another one because this one's tired. Also, the boat is run down and all the seating outside is cheap plastic chairs.

Me and 8 others booked this cruise last weekend for part of my sisters bachelorette. The crew was not just informative and kind, but personable too. We so enjoyed them. The bar tender was absolutely wonderful and made us great drinks. Definitely not weak and at a shockingly reasonable price. We just had so much fun and it was a beautiful way to spend a few hours. Bathrooms on board and a good selection of snacks. 10/10 would recommend.

We had made reservations at the Blu Pointe restaurant. I'll leave that review for another time. There was a 'mix up' which left us with two hours to kill. We decided to just go home and BBQ, doing the Bue Point some other time. While on our way home we passed a sign for the 'Pride of the Hudson' river cruise. On a fluke, we stopped and inquired as to available seating. We lucked out and hopped aboard, throwing caution to the wind. The tour was 2.5 hours long and the day was exceptionally delightful. A high sun, low humidity, and a nice constant breeze made the trip very, very pleasant. The river was calm and the river traffic was virtually nonexistent. The other passengers were comprised of some vacationers from Europe and a few from the surrounding states. The ages were in the 50+ range which made for a quiet and relaxing cruise. If you're hungry, the food is snack bar-type stuff. There is a bartender and alcohol available, which was a definite plus. The boat itself was staffed by friendly and engaging personnel, with a jolly and very friendly skipper in command. The price of passage was $28. per person and the drinks were also reasonable as far as drinks go. For example, I ordered three piña coladas and paid $24. Another round was 3 Vodka martinis, clean, and chilled and that cost me $23. and so on. All in all the day was an unexpected pleasure and very reasonable on the wallet. One other thing, I based this review on a Wednesday afternoon, a beautiful day, with no children on board and absolutely NO expectations. So keep that in mind if you decide to venture on a sail aboard the Pride of the Hudson.

Ring your own snacks they don't sell anything on the boat. I am glad I got to experience the ride on a sailing boat. But for me one and done works. You can help raise the sails if you want to.

As part of the trip, we all got to help hoist the sail which was quite the experience. It actually takes a lot of work and people to hoist this massive sail. We sailed in the evening and got to watch the sun set over the city. We were lucky that there was enough wind to get us moving but not too windy that it made the sail rough. We had a such a great time and wished that the sail was longer!

Coming from the nearby Gull Harbor Marina, I'm quite jealous of the condition and atmosphere of Riverfront Marina. The only thing holding me back from Riverfront, which is more of a matter of personal preference rather than quality, is they have no breaker wall. I watch some of the smaller boats bounce around in the marina like swimming pool toys and I enjoy the tranquility of the barges used as a breaker wall at Gull Harbor (that's about all I like about Gull Harbor; see related review). Whenever I pull up to the guest dock at Riverfront, I am almost always greeted by at least one or two girls offering to grab my ropes and assist me in docking and tying off. They are always friendly and very courteous. The condition of this marina absolutely amazes me. The docks are in immaculate condition. You can comfortably walk around your dock barefoot if you wanted to. Everything seems to be well maintained. There were times when I was at my friend's boat when I noticed the girls were out clearing some minor debris from the water surrounding the docks and some of the boats. They obviously care about their customers and keeping the boats free of debris. The office usually appears to be staffed. Any time you go there during business hours, somebody is usually in the office. If you need something, there is always somebody around you can contact. The prices here are reasonable and in competition with the others. The location is also prime if you're into the nightlife at the Newburgh Waterfront. Parking can be a little tight. Having so many people around makes it seem a little more safe. The nice part about them not having barges surrounding the place is it makes for a great view. The downfall is when the river gets rough, sitting out on the dock isn't all that relaxing. If they'd install a seawall around the marina, this place would by far be the best around.
