We found that Fazzio's has an old school casual elegance, is home to many traditional Italian favorites, has an excellent wine and cocktail selection, and features a warm ambiance and welcoming service. Tonight, Amanda took very good care of us. We enjoyed mixed green and Caesar salads followed by chicken piccata and chicken Marsala entrees. Both entrees were savory and delicious and portion sizes were generous. I think the Marsala was especially good and it overflowed with the mushrooms I love so much. We didn't save room for dessert this time, but the tiramisu is said to be quite good. We look forward to returning.

Today we enjoyed their full bar, excellent service, and tasteful decor, which combine to impart a comfortable, welcoming ambiance. I had their chicken Marsala, which was prepared in the traditional style and was tasty. My wife had their signature muffuletta, which although unusually prepared on French bread, was good. Salads were somewhat wilted, but iced tea was quite good. Mandina's is worth your attention and we will return to try some other Italian favorites, including their lasagna, which I hear is excellent.

Each pizza was so delicious, the sauce was clearly made fresh, the dough was fluffy but crispy it was a great combination. The chicken Alfredo pasta sauce was made fresh along with the pasta sauce. Nothing tasted as if it came from a jar everything was made fresh to order. We all left so full and happy after dinner. I had planned to have it for lunch the next day, taking time to crisp the edges in the air fryer before devouring the source of those smells - but alas, it was too great a temptation and I tried a small piece when I got home. Small, meaning like TWO OUNCES that had fallen apart from the main rib into the mound of pasta and chunky red sauce. Sliced garlic, chunky tomatoes, and the essence of beef all through it made for a pretty tasty side dish that I ended up giving to Tiff. I was saving room for the MEAT. So, that little piece that dropped off to tempt me was eaten and savored. It was soooo good. Still, I managed to save the rest of the rib for lunch the next day - I crisped that beautiful short rib up, as promised, and shared the pasta with Tiff - we had a delicious meal and both gave thanks for the food, for Leo and for Ashleigh, the awesome server who packaged the boxes up so beautifully and made sure we were well taken care of even though we took it home. Beyond that, the food and service are simply perfect every time. I enjoyed some small plates last night, including an espresso martini, the tuna crisp and the soup de jour: tomato basil. Everything was served at the perfect temp, cold for drinks and crisp and piping hot for the soup. The martini was standalone and had the perfect hints of chocolate essence and level of sweetness. It was more coffee than liqueur which I loved and the drink was pleasant without it tasting too much like the spirit. I do mine with gin and they always do such a great job. The tuna crudo was good, and presented so nice with a pour-over of the agua chile tableside. I do feel like it was missing some spice and salt, leaving it to fall a bit flat. However it was incredibly fresh! The soup was a perfect way to end my night, light enough but also filling. So creamy and good. A major thank you and recognition for Nathan. He is an excellent bartender, server and had amazing suggestions for menu items and drinks. He kindly asked the kitchen for extra requests and helped making our dining experience memorable.
