I wanted to wait at least 6 months before I reviewed my experience with Primaface. I had been noticing that my injections weren't lasting as long, and they were costing more. My most recent provider was in South OC, very posh office and highly reputed. After I was left with a "Resty Lump " (Restyline) under my eye, I decided to go to Patricia. I have to say the Botox I received has lasted longer than the ones I received from the fancy pants, and at a lower cost. The fillers are about the same in duration, but at a lower cost. This equation makes me happy! It appears that this is a one woman business, besides the doctor that shares the space, who appears to be a figurehead, to meet legal requirements, but I could be wrong. I can't judge their work. Judging by how poorly its run and its location, I rather not take the risk. I got a really good Groupon offer. I called & noted its a cell, not a land line. No answer, so I left a message requesting an appointment. The woman (I believe the one that does the injections) called me back a couple of days later and I booked the appointment - two weeks in advance, Friday PM. She contacted me and offered an earlier date, but I had a conflict and said I'd take the original Friday appointment. I arrived about 15 minutes early and drove through the L-shaped strip mall and carwash - twice, they don't have a sign on the building but there were a couple "medical" offices with lots of window signs - I didn't see it there, but it could have been. I parked in the lot and called. Asked where are were, and she (I believe the same woman) said they're in a medical business (the name I didn't catch - bad cell connection). I said I had a 6:30 and she said - they don't do appointments on Friday, and besides, the appointment wasn't confirmed - Really? When you booked it, I assumed it was "confirmed." When you contacted me for a possible earlier appointment, you clearly knew when my original appoint was, and I stated I wanted the original Friday date, you never said it wasn't available. Nor did you bother to email or call me of a possible scheduling error. Instead, you chose to have me drive in Friday night traffic only to waste my time. As I mentioned, they may be good, but the whole transaction has to be one where you feel safe and confident in their skills - I got none of that. Budget doesn't always mean bad. Budget and questionable business practice and integrity, makes you really want to avoid such places. read more
