5 Day Aesthetic Training I'm from San Diego and I researched a ton of different places for aesthetic training and none of them seemed like a good fit for me. I eventually found Avesta Aesthetics and im so happy I decided to go with this course. Jill and Beeta are there to train and teach you everything they possibly know and they're incredible. They train you at a real med spa and show you how they treat their actual patients. It's also a very small group so you get more focused practice and attention which is what I liked. I was able to inject about 5-7 people a day depending on the schedule and they'll never force you to be hands on unless you feel comfortable. 10/10 recommend this place for treatments and training. I'm so sad I'm done with my training but I will definitely be back when I'm ready to learn more advanced treatments! read more

If you like to pay $300 for a 45 minute hydrafacial, this place is not for you! LOL coming from someone who never understood the hydrafacial hype and was looking for something curated, intentional, effective and worth the price, I am so happy to have Beeta and Avesta! This is my one-stop shop for all things laser. I've done RF microneedling, laser genesis, CO2, IPL, and now laser hair removal. Personally my favorite results have been RF microneedling with rejuran layered with CO2 and the glo2 facial. Anyway I'm writing this review because OC has medspas on every corner and they are not all equal in terms of service, price, offerings, quality, etc. love coming here and recommend you at least come in and see the state-of-the-art facility for yourself. For the cost of a 45 min hydrofacial elsewhere, here you can get the glo2 facial (way better than hydrafacial IMO) with IPL and laser genesis and the whole combo is 90min. Just saying.. IYKYK Also, I did the 3 day aesthetic training with Beeta a few years ago and would also recommend for nurses or other healthcare providers looking to get their feet wet and experience with administering injectables . My experience at this office was extremely disappointing. To start, the NP never discussed the cost of the Botox treatment with me beforehand, and I was blindsided at checkout with a $600 bill after the procedure was already done. As a registered nurse with 25 years of experience, including working alongside plastic surgeons, I consulted colleagues and did my own research after these issues arose. It's well-documented that spasms can be a side effect of Botox, and the doctors I consulted confirmed this as well. I've also personally had Botox from a physician for six years without any complications, which in my opinion based on my prior experinece and post-treatment consultation, appeared morr related to her injection technique rather than the Botox itself. Despite this, the NP dismissed my concerns and suggested I must have a neurological issue instead of acknowledging any treatment-related side effect. Moreover, she offered no resolution or refund and simply denied any responsibility for what happened. I'm sharing this review to help others be fully informed before considering this provider. Of course, nothing might happen, but if there's even a 1% chance of a side effect, you may not get any help from her! read more

Super bummed. I have been coming here for the last couple of years. Abeta was the one that has done injections. I saw the special of $8 a unit and made appt I was then chargecd $14 a unit and they said Wednesday's was the only day for that special. I also requested Botox and was persuaded to do Dysport which does not work as well on me. I said I needed product to shrink pores and they gave me two products to purchase.ended up $364.20. Didn't realize the cost til it hit me in the car. I called them back and said it's too expensive and would bring it back. The front desk girl said ok. Well when I brought it back Abeta said no she would not take return. Product was unopened not used and informed her of my conversation. She insinuated I could of bought on Amazon and returned. Very strange. I said I was very upset and she said she would text me back today. She did not. Poor customer service. Very sad that I cannot do business with them anymore. I have been a patient of Avesta Aesthetics for over a year now. I love and see a huge improvement on my skin with the various Lazer treatments from Nurse Beeta. I bought a package containing IPL, Laser Genesis, Microneedling RF. Which has really rejuvenated my face. I had not been in for 6 months since my last Laser treatment. Yesterday, the handsome front desk pre-med student, recommended the GIO2Facial by Geneo; and WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, what a result. It has improved the crapping around my eyes, completely rid of crow's feet on the side, raised my brows like Botox, filled my laugh line like a filler, and lightened my face like IPL treatment. I highly recommend this procedure. Sarah was the administrator of this facial treatment. This review is for a 3-day training course with Beeta NP and Jill RN at Avesta Med Spa. I made a trip across the U.S. for this program and it was totally worth it. The hands-on patient experience was top-notch. Beeta and nurse Jill are very genuine. I was taught safe techniques, possible complications, and triaging complications. This training program is customized to your needs. It is way better than those national programs where they over-promise and under-deliver. I would recommend this program to everyone. I received Botox treatment at Avesta on February 20. I paid $300 for 40 units, which I now know is significantly lower than the average dose (they themselves said 64 units is typical). Unfortunately, the results only lasted about 2 months--much shorter than the 3-4 months I was expecting. The clinic later told me that I had declined the full 64 units, but I do not recall being clearly informed that I was getting a lower dose or that it would affect the results. I was never given a detailed explanation or choice in writing. Had I been told that 40 units might not be enough for my forehead and frown lines, I may have chosen differently. I also asked for information about the product and injector after the fact. They told me they used Allergan Botox and that Beeta, a nurse practitioner, did the injection. She may be experienced, but the lack of upfront transparency was disappointing. They did respond to my messages but never offered a refund or touch-up--only a discounted "model day" option, which felt like a marketing tactic, not a resolution. This was my first and last visit to Avesta. I'm sharing this so others are fully aware of how dosing affects results, and to encourage the clinic to be more transparent with their clients. read more
