Got the MK116 upper from their authorized dealer, and UPS messed up by smashing my package like hell, chipped the handguard, and I reported to PWS, Meghan within a day asked my address, and agreed just sending the damaged handguard, I shipped it out on Wednesday 12/17/2025, and the replacement handguard arrived on 12/24/2025! Im a fan of piston AR's.The rifle stays cooler as well as cleaner with a piston system vice direct impingement (DI) AR's. You also don't get a face full of gas with a suppressor attached. They weigh a little more than a DI rifle but im good with that. I never really understood ultra light AR's anyway. As to function, this 300BO upper is very accurate and to me, the recoil impulse is less than a DI rifle. read more

Purchased a 14.5" Alpha LT upper from PWS, in October of 2023. PWS guaranteed "Sub MOA accuracy." Over the next 18 months, I returned the upper three times due to very poor accuracy. I'm talking 2" groups or worse, with match ammunition! The third time I returned it, PWS said they were going to give me a completely new upper. After waiting three months, I picked up my "completely new upper." When I got home, I unwrapped it and discovered it wasn't new, and they gave me back my old upper. This was evidenced by metal burnishing on top of the Picatinny Rail, which match the footprint of my scope mount, wear on the ejection port cover and an adhesive brass deflector protector, that was still attached. I emailed the CEO and told him what had happened. I then requested PWS exchange my 14.5 " upper, with a 16" upper and the CEO agreed to do so. When I went to PWS, to pick up the new 16" upper, I confronted the customer service representative and asked him why he returned my old 14.5" upper to me, after claiming it was a brand new upper. The customer service representative proceeded to lie and claim he hadn't, despite visible evidence to the contrary. BTW, I never received an apology from the CEO or anyone else at PWS re: this fiasco. I'll never buy another firearm from this unscrupulous and unapologetic company. read more

Just got off the phone with PWS to get some replacement parts for the BRN (they had an upgrade to the op rod available) and that had to be the best customer experience I've ever had. Manager Joey Harris went step by step and walked me through the process and was able to diagnose the issue with a couple quick photos to his email. Got the parts boxed while I was sitting there. I hate to have to make this review as this is a company I have have supported quite a bit over the years and I have thousands of dollars in products to prove it. There products are top notch and they were my go to brand. Unfortunately their customer service is is extremely lacking from their tech support(Adam Harris) up to their CTO/president Dean Sylvester. To keep it to the point I wanted to purchase a few replacement parts for a rail system I had purchase a few years back and was told by Adam Harris that parts were no longer available for the rail and that if I wanted to I could send it along with a second rail I had In for a full refund of my purchase price (2 of the same rail. 1 was purchased a year ago). I proceeded to disassembly my rifle and pull all of the components from it. I shipped the rails into them along with purchase invoices as requested. As PWS is a big company in the gun world I though nothing of it and was confident I would be getting a refund as advised so I proceeded to order a couple new rails from a distributor so I could get my rifle back together. $600.00 later with shipping and tax and I thought everything was good. Once PWS received my rails back I received an email asking what was wrong with them and stating that they seemed to be in working order. In explained to them that I never stated there was a defect and the issue was parts not being available and they they offered for me to send the rails in for a refund(I did not ask for a refund this was completely offered by PWS). To keep it simple the employee(Adam Harris)told me that he had made a mistake and could not refund me. I asked for a supervisor who also stated they could not refund me and they were going to send my trail back. I asked for someone higher then the supervisor to which I received a response from Dean Sylvester(the CTO/president of PWS. His email stated his employee made a mistake and that they could not refund me due to the age of the product and no defect with the product. I advised him that It was never stated that there was any defect and that the issue was that parts were not available. I sent him emails from me and his employee discussing this and showed that it was not stated that there was a defect anywhere in the conversation. I asked Dean to please reconsider and at least make right by me the customer and to stand by the written agreement we had via email to reimburse me for two rails. I never got a response back from Dean which in my opinion is horrible customer service(if the president won't respond to a customers/consumers email when their company is in the wrong then how do you expect employees to treat customers). For the President of a company to treat a consumer like that and ignore them completely speaks volumes on how a company is ran. Within an hour of emailing Dean I received an automated email that may rails were being shipped back via FedEx. This is probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a company. I am in the customer service industry as well and I'm sorry but when your employee makes a mistake you take care of it and make right with the customer. Needless to say I am now back in possession of my PWS rails and am am $600 in the hole on new rails that I ordered so this not only cost me my time to remove the rail systems but cost me shipping and another $600 on new rails for taking their written agreement that I would be refunded for my rails. I can guarantee this review will go nowhere and nothing will be done but I had to do it as it is not right for a company to get away with this and for me as a consumer to be stuck eating $600 for a mistake that PWS is at fault for. Horrible service. Nobody knew when parts were available. I was told several times that my parts would ship within a week each time I called. The last time I called they said a month. Parts were already paid for and cancelled my order after 45 days. read more
