It's so nice to have a store with amazing prime meat to grill... especially with being unable to go to restaurants!

In these difficult times that we're living in, having a piece of normalcy is so important. We so appreciate Primavera! My wife has been doing ll the shopping, so I miss seeing and chatting with Tom and the crew, but she never fails to come home to tell me they said hi! I can't list everything that's delicious here, short of saying all of it! Treat yourself and head here... just try to make it on a day my wife doesn't shop, so she doesn't have to wait too long! :-)

Been coming to this Italian deli for years but just finally getting around to writing a review about it. They provide catering, specialty meats, custom orders as well as just walk in deli orders. One of the best local Italian fresh markets around. Luckily it's located in north Massapequa area off of Hicksville road in the shopping center with Harmon. Primavera offers a wide variety of meats. Every Christmas Eve my family orders the beef from them and they do a fantastic job selecting a generous cut. Always looking forward to coming here and they usually never disappoint.

If you like Italian sausage with flavor (fennel, parsley, etc) theirs is great. They bring in their Italian bread from brooklyn. A little smaller and darker and with much more flavor. So maybe get the large one, They also will sell you (if you use canned tomatoes/ you should use fresh plum) tomatoes from the San Marzano region of Italy. Stamped for authenticity. They will point out which are the right ones.

Always delicious. They have great prepared appetizers and sides. The raviolis are very good. People that work there are very helpful.

I completely get that the weather was extremely cold but to pick up the hero's and them to be completely frozen to the point of me having to not only try and thaw them by placing them close to the heater (which only made them worse) but having to cut them because of the lazy employees that work there just can't finish doing a simple task I also had to throw out all the tomatoes because they were frozen solid and the lettuce started to brown. I'm not the only person who this happened to and when I went to return the boards I was hoping to see the manager but they only had young people working there and they didn't deserve my anger. This place has become a joke of a once proud establishment, they now even outsource there bread because they can't meet the demand. Stay away and go to other places because this place is a disaster!!

I had the menu planned, but I had a problem deciding on dessert. I wasn't sure as to size of cake or what to serve that everyone would like. Thank God for Angela! I was starting to stress because I hadn't really planned on throwing a party on short notice, but wanted it to be perfect. Angela suggested popular cakes, cannolis and a tray of cookies, as I wanted to have "something for everyone" that would be enjoyed. Angela was very helpful and knew just what to suggest...I never thought of cookies and cannolis! Angela is a real asset to Salpinos!

When I got home I couldn't wait to try my purchase. I cut off a piece of the black & white, and it was beyond stale, and I noticed the chocolate was beginning to change color. It had to be at least a week old. Finally, I had a piece of biscotti. I've had many biscotti's in my lifetime, and I'm certainly aware that they're hard, but like the black & white cookie the biscotti was also stale with an odd taste. So after spending over $20, on what I presumed were outstanding baked goods, I wound up tossing the entire purchase in the trash. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!

After being disappointed with the selection of meat at my local supermarket I decided to check them out. When I entered the store I was immediately impressed by how clean and well organized it is, and Dave's guitar selection adds to the homey eclectic ambiance. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they'll accommodate customer preferences. After looking around I decided to purchase a rack of lamb, 2 pieces of wild salmon and cooked chicken fingers. Everything was top quality prime, fresh and scrumptious. And I was pleasantly surprised to see that Suburbia's prices are on par with local supermarkets for much better quality. You can't go wrong! Nuts & Bolts: Suburbia currently offers curbside pickup, delivery and in-store shopping with strict social distancing and a max of 3 customers allowed in at once. They're open 6 days/week (closed Wednesdays) at convenient hours with early opening times (7:30 as of this writing). There's parking on the street and a side lot. So happy to carry on the family tradition of shopping at Suburbia, a cool locally owned small business. I plan to be a regular going forward.
