Saw all the great reviews so decided to hit this place up on a Thursday at 12PM. Walked in the door and looked at the meat for about a minute before the Guy behind the counter asks if he can help me. I ask for 3 Bone In Pork Chops. He looks to another Guy who tells me they are all out. Says I just missed the last one. I guess he wanted me to believe that there was a crazy run on Bone In Pork Chops on a random Thursday. Would have been better if he just admitted they don't always stock the basics. As I was leaving I noticed the prices were a tad high. Not a great first impression so I won't be going back. The Butcher place is a great alternative to a deli. While it doesn't have as large of a selection or options as your standard deli, it is so fresh! Unlike when you go to a deli and see the grilled chicken/fried cutlets in the case, the butcher place prepares your chicken fresh when you order. They have cutlets pre-breaded but only fry them as ordered which makes them super fresh and the coating not soggy or stale. I ordered grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella and jalapeños on a roll. Delicious!! The chicken is so juicy and tasty it's incredible. My boyfriend got the fried breaded chicken cutlet on his sandwich and loved it as well. We are quarantining out of town and came home for a weekend and our first stop was the Butcher Place. The Butcher Place was a happy surprise during the worst of Covid when I was able to call to order meat, milk, bread and eggs and have my order delivered to their door or to my car at the curb. Their products are very fresh. I recently discovered the deli county in the rear of the shop and ordered one of their specialty heroes. This is amid the Corona Virus. My Wife and I live locally. We have placed orders that are to be picked up due to the current situation. We place the order by phone awe had lots of questions regarding shelf life of the items as we don't want to frequently go out. We we're advised that when our order is ready that they will call us. They did exactly what they promised. We called when we arrived and the did a curb side delivery. They also provided disinfecting wipes to us. We get our meats/poultry and cold cuts there every week. We order in advance and it's ready when we get there. They have even let me pay over the phone and brought my order out to my car when I have my sleeping kids in the car. Home-cooked warm food. Daily specials. Choose from Chicken Marsala, Meatballs, Lasagna, Sausage and sides of rice, beans, freshly cooked veggies. Their salads are delicious too. You can add it to any bread and make a sandwich. And it comes with a bag of free chips. Everything I've tasted so far has been awesome. I hated my experience at the butcher place. I usually go there for the fresh cut meat. However, I went in on a Sunday afternoon, ordered a wrap with grilled chicken, it was slopped together, the men were rude & grouchy. I will never go there again.
