Through a recommendation from Joe at Supreme Interiors, I was put in contact with Frankie at Prime Interiors for an unusual job. My father was a barber, and when he passed years ago I received his barber chair - the chair was 80 years old and was quite a wreck when I received it, however it has huge sentimental value to me so I set about getting it renovated. 10 years later and a few thousand dollars later, the renovation was finally complete, and the end result was gorgeous. I had it shipped to my home and placed in my reading room.... 2 months later, a knife accidentally cut the leather seat of the chair. I was crushed. The chair is of sentimental importance, an antique, and about 500lbs - so I needed someone to come to my home and deal with an antique...no one would touch it. I was lamenting this to Joe over at Supreme Interiors when I brought him an ottoman to work on - and he immediately said: I have the guy for you. He put me in touch with Frankie at Prime Interiors. She had nothing but good things to say so I thought I would give it a try. The leather on the driver seat of my car had a large tear and I didn't think it could be fixed. I had a small tear and some wear on the driver's side leather seat in my truck. I emailed him a photo, and he gave me a quick and reasonable quote. Wow Frank is an artist! I have 1999 Astro Van that needed alot of work. Frank came out right on time 10am to to provide me a mobile estimate. I had a 3 inch rip in my fabric cloth seats..I had a 5 inch rip on my 2 rear bench seats. I had a 1 foot round stain in my carpet that needed redyed. My arm rest was all cracked. I have a vintage car that had tiny holes scratched in various areas on the vinyl seats (by my cat). I requested three estimates to see if the damage could be repaired, and Frankie of Prime Interiors was the only one that replied. We set up a time for him to come out and take a look. After seeing the car, Frankie gave me options he could use to repair the seats. I asked about buying a seat cover kit and having him install the new upholstery. However, this is a service Frankie does not provide. There is so much damage in different areas of the seats. Ok to be honest I totally thought my leather seat in my Tahoe could not be fixed. I went out on a limb and contacted Prime Interiors. Frankie got right back to me, asked for me to send some photos. I asked about my car and my couch. I loved the honesty he responded with about my couch, we then just focused on the car seat. Frankie from Prime Interiors is the best! I am so fortunate to have found Frankie from Prime Interiors. And I am thankful that my brother recommended Prime Interior. He is very honest, personable and professional. You can email him and he will respond right away and you might want to take a picture of your scratch so he can estimate. And, he is very accommodating to your schedule. Depending on the size of your rip/tear, the patching up of the leather/vinyl on the door panel took less than 35 minutes and he did a great job. (I have a 2008 black Lexus 400h) I will upload before and after pictures as soon as it dries up. He just wrapped up the work less than 10 minutes ago. I didn't know whether it was appropriate to tipping for these type of services but I felt I should at least something, I thought it would be a nice gesture.
