The man who processed my truck and storage unit rental was in ZERO hurry and the process took about 45 minutes! Now today, 1 month later Im finding out that the auto-pay I signed for and have the signed contract for was never processed! Oh and the online chat representitve was RUDE and disconnected the chat prior to finishing the conversation, her name was Dolores... I would have taken my business elsewhere had I known How crappy this experience would be!!!! Oh and no discount for our vets, never never never again!

My dad and boyfriend were doing the driving, so they came with me and they made a copy of my dad's driver's license. I had rented it until 5pm, but as 5pm was approaching I called to ask if it would be okay to return it a little late. No problem. We returned it around 7pm, no hassle at all.

I've worked with Ashley, office manager, during this period and have found her to be highly professional and willing to listen to my needs. While I have not always been happy when prices have been increased without prior notice, Ashley has shown a willingness to speak with management and often the price has been readjusted downward, to what I deem to be acceptable and a fair level. Overall, I feel the Warren facility meets our needs (we live in Bristol), is well maintained and, probably most important, I feel that Ashley has shown a willingness to work with me on maintaining a fair price, within corporate guidelines. Received an email in January telling me that it was going to increase to $202.00 a month starting in February. Called spoke to customer service they lowered to $133.00 then I stopped at the Warren office and Ashley said she would look into it and call me. She was able to get it back to the original $116.00 but that lasted a month. In February received another email that is was going up in March to $199.00 a month. I know several people who rent storage at Prime in Swansea and do not have this problem. The manager and other people I have dealt with at Prime in Swansea have been nice and very helpful. When I went to move out of my storage in Warren I noticed one of the locks was cut off and there was a different lock on the second door. They gave me a unit with 2 doors that was at one time two separate units. I went to the office and the woman came to look and took pictures. She said they would have to look back on the video and see who it was. So odd that someone would cut off my lock and then put one there but not say anything to the office. The doors and gate have been open in this place for months. Anyone could go in and out at any time. They have a storage facility where anyone can get access inside at any time yet still trying to raise the storage fees but not providing you with the security and safety. It's been over a week and I have called twice and they still don't know who cut my lock. Here answer to me was she's not sure if the security coverage lapsed during that time. They just keep asking me if anything is missing. I rented from there originally because I live on the street and it was convenient but do yourself a favor and do your research and stay away from that place.

But that's not even the issue, since that is in their fine print. The issue is that these people are impossible to reach by phone. They picked up my son's belongings in May, but on their website there was nothing listed as being in storage for him to get back. The office was closed over Labor Day weekend, which is a very busy move-in weekend for students at the local universities, and they had a phone message saying nobody would be in their office answering their phone and that you should text this other number. Texting that number produced no results. Honestly, the best option for storage is to rent a storage unit and bring things to it yourself so that you don't get overcharged and jerked around by OnDemand storage.

As a result, I used them in 2018 as well, and urge anyone considering using this company to avoid doing so. OnDemand called me the day before my pick-up to ask to reschedule, promising a discount. I agreed to this. A charge was billed to my credit card but I never received an invoice, indicating that I'd received a discount. When I finally received an invoice (after repeated emails), I had not received the promised discount. Most problematically, when my belongings were returned, a desk was very damaged and a $200 rug was not returned at all. OnDemand has refused to provide any reimbursement, noting that I did not purchase insurance. At no point was the option to buy insurance made prominently available. Customer service has been slow to respond to my emails, often waiting until I have sent two or three over the course of several weeks. I will not be using this company again and I do not recommend using them either.
