I have used Prime Storage, Warren for the past five years; starting with Covid. I find the facility to be well maintained and recently I added a second storage unit. I've worked with Ashley, office manager, during this period and have found her to be highly professional and willing to listen to my needs. While I have not always been happy when prices have been increased without prior notice, Ashley has shown a willingness to speak with management and often the price has been readjusted downward, to what I deem to be acceptable and a fair level. Overall, I feel the Warren facility meets our needs (we live in Bristol), is well maintained and, probably most important, I feel that Ashley has shown a willingness to work with me on maintaining a fair price, within corporate guidelines. Prime Storage - Warren November 2024 was offered a 10 x 12 for $99.00 a month plus $17.00 insurance for $116.00 a month with first month free. Received an email in January telling me that it was going to increase to $202.00 a month starting in February. Called spoke to customer service they lowered to $133.00 then I stopped at the Warren office and Ashley said she would look into it and call me. She was able to get it back to the original $116.00 but that lasted a month. In February received another email that is was going up in March to $199.00 a month. I know several people who rent storage at Prime in Swansea and do not have this problem. The manager and other people I have dealt with at Prime in Swansea have been nice and very helpful. When I went to move out of my storage in Warren I noticed one of the locks was cut off and there was a different lock on the second door. They gave me a unit with 2 doors that was at one time two separate units. I went to the office and the woman came to look and took pictures. She said they would have to look back on the video and see who it was. So odd that someone would cut off my lock and then put one there but not say anything to the office. The doors and gate have been open in this place for months. Anyone could go in and out at any time. They have a storage facility where anyone can get access inside at any time yet still trying to raise the storage fees but not providing you with the security and safety. It's been over a week and I have called twice and they still don't know who cut my lock. Here answer to me was she's not sure if the security coverage lapsed during that time. They just keep asking me if anything is missing. I rented from there originally because I live on the street and it was convenient but do yourself a favor and do your research and stay away from that place. read more

Rented a 10x20' unit - called and got quoted a price. I was not informed that my "introductory" price would increase in as little as 3 months. When I called to lodge my disappointment, they instead made a very small increase. 6 months later, another increase. I downsized into a 10x10', to combat the rent "creep". 6 months after that, another increase - of 45%!!!. I again called to complain, and then moved my belongings out. The door is always unlocked. The electronic keypad access lock broke 5 months ago & was never fixed. The gated parking lot is often left open after hours. The y company doesn't care. It only wants your money! read more

We rented two units for close to a year and a half while we built a new house- to the tune of many thousands of dollars. We went to this storage place because they advertise climate control. I checked on our belongings regularly and followed their suggestions exactly regarding storing upholstered furniture. Everything was fine until the very hot and humid weather of this past summer. I went into the unit weekly and smelled the beds and couches but right after a particularly humid stretch i checked our furnishings and was immediately hit with that dreaded moldy smell. We immediately removed our furniture but the damage was done. My wife was in tears- heirloom furniture with gray/green mold on the wood. Upholstery that has to all be recovered. Went to management and they (or course) passed the buck to the insurance company- which you have to buy but will not cover mold. Personally I think the AC system failed during the hot stretch and was not repaired quickly enough- but I have no proof. Anyway DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT use this facility if you have nice furniture you care about. Twice during our stay there we heard a rumbling from another unit to look and see someone start up a Harley Davidson in their unit and drive it out of the building. Exhaust fumes filled the facility. I am so disapointed with this business I will go out of my way to discourage people from storing there. Brenda at the front desk is delightful. The business sucks. read more

Found mold in my storage unit. Reported it and told this was the first time they ever had this problem. I believed them until I just read the other review on Yelp. If you use this storage facility - check your things. read more
