My Honda Fit needed a replacement rear bumper after a collision when reversing out of a parking space at Trader Joe's in Glendale (worst parking layout in the world). After procrastinating for two years, I decided to start looking for repair options. Explaining what I wanted (paint and body) felt like a conversation with friends, as opposed to other experiences I've had where the guys treat you like just another customer. Honestly, they take a real interest in YOU as a person. I truly think this comes from the fact that they love what they do, bottom line. Mick and Andy are communicative, respectful, and take their time explaining everything in detail with you, including what they foresee things costing. Since my car has chrome moldings, they wanted to make sure they could do the job before accepting the project. That's amazing to be honest. They actually want to do the best job they can, which is so rare. The whole time I was telling them about what I wanted, they made me feel like I was in control and didn't pressure me or try to upsell me on things I didn't want or need. This happened May 2021 and I'm writing this review in February 2022 because I am tired of this place posting fake 5 star reviews. I don't want the same that happened to me to happen to others. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend NOT coming to this place. I was looking for a body shop after getting in a fender bender and got tricked by all the (fake) 5 star reviews. They all claim that they received quick service and that could not be further from the truth. The only quick part was them checking in my car. It took a month to get my car back for a fender bender. I had to repeatedly call and ask for an ETA. I would get told something to the effect of "next week" every time. Also, the guy I spoke with went on vacation for a week while they still had my car. One of the last phone calls I was told my car was going to paint and it turned out to be a total lie. When I went to pick up my car, my bumper was not painted, it had a wrap with the wrong color. Instead of silver, the bumper was white. I brought that to the attention of the guy who was helping me when I picked up my car and he had nothing to say. I told him, I prefer to take the car as is since I could no longer wait for them to keep my car and take more time to fix the mistake. Also, my driver side door weather stripping was loose. My door wouldn't close properly and the guy that helped me when I picked up my car asked why my door didn't close correctly. I told him there was never a problem with how the door closed. It took a good month for me to fix the door closing issue myself. The guy also offered to charge me less which I immediately felt suspicious about. Most people might think I was foolish for wanting to pay the full price of my deductible but I didn't want to commit insurance fraud. read more

I had a fender liner issue and searched for shops online. Found Prime Time through the list of certified shops on the Honda website and decided to get an estimate here. Believe the good reviews. This is now my go-to place for any and all auto body needs - I cannot recommend them enough. From the very start they are attentive and it's clear they are extremely knowledgeable in all they do. They don't try to upsell you! In fact they do a great job at explaining parts and pricing. Besides the fender issue, the bumper cover on my car had some dings and paint peeling/chipping so it wasn't the most presentable. I decided to get that painted as well. They didn't even try to sell me on this - after my estimate and walkthrough of the major issue I was there for I was confident that I wanted Prime to also take care of that. They gave me a time frame as to when the parts (most of which fell off on the freeway mind you) would arrive at their shop and contacted me with an update throughout the wait. Mike is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Needed my passenger side fender repaired and he was able to do that and much more. In addition to the fender my front lip had paint damage from the previous owner and I was able to get that professionally repainted here I was also experiencing issues with my passenger side low beam headlight and Mike was able to order the parts for it and fix it along with restoring the headlights themselves. I was experiencing other mechanical issues that Mike was able to give a professional diagnosis on everything. All communication was very clear and I was kept updated throughout the whole process. I called this shop around 4PM on a Friday afternoon wondering if they'll be able to take me in for a same day installation even though they closed around 5-6. Gary (the owner) was very kind and understanding so he asked me to show up to his shop to see what him and his guys can do. Keep in mind I've had two body shops turn me down for same day installation 30 minutes before I found this place on Yelp. When I got there I was greeted by Vick and he helped me get in touch with Gary. Gary took a look and said that his body guy Andy is willing to take care of it on the same day. Where to begin.... I spent some time doing my research on Yelp to find the best and it lead me to Prime Time Collision. Transparency: 5/5 I spoke to 3 other Yelp top rated body shops and Mick stood out from all. He was the only person who didn't throw a ball park number at me or rushed me into making a decision. When I came in he was very informative and upfront about his estimate. He let me know that he had to further inspect the rear of the car in case there was unnoticeable damage under the bumper. You want someone who will not downplay those details and this place listened and fixed it. *thumbs up* The only feedback I have, is totally unrelated and not a reflection of Prime Time. I was set up to pick up a rental with the Enterprise in Glendale and my experience with them was horrible. I understand the entity is separate from the body shop but I would highly advise people not to work with them. 1. They didn't have the car I wanted ready for me, so I ended up with a Jeep Wrangler that had the "Death Wobble" (shaking problem, if you know you know). 2. At checkout they tried giving me a higher rate. Mick ended up having to jump on a call with them and get them to honor the rate they had promised him. 3. The car looked great but I was unable to drive it since it would start to wobble very bad when I passed over any bumps or potholes. I didn't even drive it for more than 40 miles (and I live 18 miles away from Enterprise) but was unable to return it during the weekend because they were closed. When I came back to return it I explained the problem and they were trying to charge me regular price even though the vehicle was in bad condition. They finally agreed to inspect the car and realized it wasn't in good condition. They still ended up charging me but the lowered the price. Anyway Mick stepped in and FULLY COVERED the cost of the rental. A++++ points to Prime Time for this! Overall rating: 5/5 I'm very happy with my experience here at Prime Time collision.
