After quite an extensive search, I found this place with tons of pictures of EV work done including Mach-E, Tesla, and a few others. So I brought my Taycan here. Even though it was a minor cosmetic damage, their service from start to finish was super painless and easy to work with. The scheduling coordinator (Catherine) reached out to me soon as I designated them as my desired shop from the insurance company's database. The initial assessment (Robert/Vartan) were professional accompanied by explanation of the process and estimated repair time. All throughout the repair process, I received multiple updates both from the scheduling coordinator and the automated system. In the end, the car was done ahead of schedule. The paint matching was spot on from what I can tell. Everyone in the office was professional, friendly, and most of all, they took care of all the paper work and back-and-forth with at-fault party's insurance company so I didn't have to do anything other than picking up the car. I had a dent in my car and my dealership recommended this body shop. I drove down there 2 weeks ago (the place is a half hour from where I live) and had Robert have a look at the car for an estimate. I then scheduled with Katherine to drop the car off today, with a 3-4 day turnaround. I even checked in with her a couple of days ago to confirm the appointment. When we (my husband in our second car, to drive me home) arrived, Robert told me that I had chosen a bad day for the dropoff, as it is Thanksgiving week and the car wouldn't be fixed by the end of the week. I came to drop off my car for what I thought was just a damaged bumper, they replaced it, refinished a bad buff job on my hood, fixed an electrical issue I was having with the windows, shined up my headlights, and a couple other issues I had going on related to the original accident. But the best part is, their communication in terms of scheduling, and letting me know exactly what was going on the whole time was fantastic. I don't generally post reviews. I'm rarely inspired to do so and if I don't have anything nice to say, I'd rather not take the time. I guess I'm more of a taker than a giver with Yelp. That said, Varag at Glenoaks has inspired me to do so. I took my Tesla Model 3 to more than 6 body shops in Pasadena near my home. I tend to be thorough in these matters and maybe even a bit cynical. While I met some nice people and some cheeky ones, in the end, I chose the Glenoaks Collision Center out near Eagle Rock because Varag seemed more agreeable and trustworthy than most. I made the right decision. Varag at GCC was true to his word. It started with him picking up my car from my house since I had scheduling issues. His shop did an amazing job fixing my rear bumper and trunk lid.....quality painting as well. They went beyond the call of duty and even touched up another body issue unrelated to my accident......which would have cost me a pretty penny to fix. And to top it off, they turned the car over to me with a mini detail inside and out.....a nice and not entirely expected touch. While I can't say whether GCC is able to go to these lengths for everyone, I can say that not all shops have a Varag to steer the ship. Some shops try a little ol' bait and switch or are just not entirely honest regarding what needs to be done. This accident/insurance thing is a bit of a game as some of you know and I recommend that you let Varag and GCC play it for you. read more
