We have a motorhome RV, and while parked at an RV park near Moscow MIlls , MO, we developed a flat…read moretire. We called our regular roadside service company through our insurance and the company they called said they could only install a spare tire, or tow us to a tire shop, and when they found it was a motorhome they were not interested in the business. We called another shop that specialized in truck tires and they said they would be there in an hour, but four hours later they had never showed up. I called several other facilities who either told us that our vehicle was too big to service (they worked on cars and pickups) or it was too small to service (when I called a semi truck tire shop). Our RV is a Ford F53 truck chassis on which many smaller commercial trucks are built. After several other calls, with the day slipping away, I called Warrenton Tire and Muffler on the advice of a local Missouri RV dealer. Even though we were 40+ miles from them, they said they'd be there in 45 minutes--I was skeptical after my earlier experience, but they were there in 43 minutes (I kept track). The service person they sent--I wish I'd gotten his name--was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly discovered the problem and had it repaired in about 15 minutes. While he was there he checked the other five tires on our RV which was a good thing because he found another tire dangerously low on pressure. The price they charged me for all that was MUCH LESS than I expected for them having come so far to provide service. Having problems on the road is stressful enough, not knowing who to call, and having several other businesses say they were not interested in my patronage. Warrenton Tire and Muffler relieved all that stress, with friendly, extremely professional service. I will recommend them to anyone in the area!

My daughter had her car in for tires and the young man working on it let her know the back brakes were paper thin which he thought unusual due to the low mileage on a 2 year old car. She made the appointment and come to find out on a VW you need a special scanner to do the back brakes. They tried for over an hour to remedy this but when they couldn't they didn't even charge for the labor. These are honest and trustworthy folks! Don't let the old school building fool you. Top notch!!

If you need used tires go right passed K&S and there is a new used tire place called Browns Tire & Service Center @ 573-544-6832. They will treat you right, unlike K&S Tire. The costomer makes or breaks a business, I am breaking the news on their attitude. Money over quality is their new motto This caused damage to my work truck, I would have been fine with a free replacement, but all I got was an "I don't care" attitude and they walked away! Don't go to K&S Tire or you may get a bad deal ; ) There is a new place in truesdale that sells used tires that appriciate their costomers. The gentleman who waited on me did not listen to me when I spoke about my concerns. I had to repeat myself for the services I potentially needed. I was asked when I made the appointment if I was going to drop the car off or wait and I had asked which was a better option and was told that it didn't matter. I assumed that meant that it would not be a long wait. At 11:50, my car was still in the lot my keys on the counter. No one had come and told me about a delay. I picked up my key and left so I have no clue about the quality of their service.

Another mechanic actually said, in writing, this was gross negligence due to the amount of things put back together incorrectly. They don't know what they are doing. I drove my car to the appointment and then when service was "completed" it was not able to be turned on and needed to be towed! We actually thought parts were stolen off my car given the amount of issues. I was then repeatedly threatened for payment (while my car was broken down because of them). they could not even turn the car on to check to see if their work was correct. I was told "it doesn't matter if you aren't happy with the service". My car was worse than when I left it with them, I couldn't turn my car on and it took a specialist to figure out what they had done. Horrible, a nightmare, please don't use them because they will do a botch job and then threaten you for payment.
