I was feeling too sick to try to sit in an ER and the house call from him saved the day and the entire trip. He took a careful medical history, and spent the time to listen as well as inform us of the diagnosis and the options. He prescribed the ear drops and medication that ensured I felt better within a few hours so that I was able to be present for our daughter and heal. He also helped us come up with the right decision not to fly until a few days later than planned to help heal the ear and bronchitis. I wish there was a doctor like him in the Bay Area!

I was introduced to Dr. Possner by a good friend. There are not enough words to describe how…read morethankful I am for this introduction. From the first meeting I had with Dr. Possner, I knew things would be vastly different and that I had found someone that would have a profound impact on my health. My first appointment was the longest time I had ever spent with a doctor. My appointment was 2 hours and Dr. Possner had fully reviewed my medical records and engaged me in thoughtful conversation about my medical history. I left my initial appointment with a feeling of empowerment over my health that I had never really felt before. Little did I know that the impact of having Dr. Possner as my doctor would happen so quickly. I was on vacation and had an acute UTI. It was after business hours, but I was able to call the office and get the on call doctor that happen to be Dr. Possner. I walked him through my symptoms and he immediately called in a prescription for me. Because he had such knowledge of my history it was easy for us to communicate and talk through my symptoms. He checked on me via email through the client portal several times over the next couple of days to ensure I was ok. The fact that I was in a remote part of a different state and I was able to call and speak with the doctor saved me stress and the hassle of finding an urgent care to go to. He has made several recommendations to other specialists and doctors, all of whom have turned out to be amazing. His referral goes a long way with each specialist I have scheduled an appointment with. I can't recommend Dr. Possner enough; he's a great listener, thoughtful, caring, kind and you can tell he truly loves what he is doing. His follow through is simply amazing.

Very convenient to make appointments, receive emails and calls back often times within an hour. They encouraged me to join and I did. Everything has been great. He takes a lot of time talking to you and understanding your concerns. He's available anytime you need him. And he offers a wealth of knowledge to treat and be proactive and treating any issues. Go somewhere else esp if you have any health issues or allergies. Mystery pills they prescribe i don't approve of at all. Waste of money and energy and ended up bed ridden for 2.5 months due to several adverse reactions to their " treatments. " Too much to get into but in brief the pills interfered with medications I take to live and function, this is most recent. Last year anaphylaxis twice from the random stuff taken. If I had the energy and time ( which I've lost due to their practice) - I'd possibly bring a suit for malpractice. Fortunately for them, I was robbed of both. Just to note I take full responsibility for agreeing to take stuff the company wasn't even sure of the effects or ingredients . This being said, after the first reaction i agreed to substitute something else, same issue. This is after telling the practice my health issues , meds I have to take to stay alive, and endless allergies. At one appointment the physician was not aware a suggestion she made contained a certain ingredient. That's malpractice at worst , or simple ineptitude at best. Footnote- I take responsibility for continuing to try different drugs despite the doctors several mistakes. ( they were aware of what I could/couldn't do and the medications I have to take to stay alive. I figured I'm already in maybe see where this goes, huge mistake. ) Several times. Then at one appointment made a suggestion I had to correct. ( that enzyme landed me in the hospital last year. I looked your suggestion up it's almost identical ). " oh yeah" If that's not incompetence the patient knows more than the physician I don't know what is. They couldn't bother? Or are merely incapable? Who knows.

I can't begin to say enough positive things about Laura!…read more However, I will start with, she is an amazing, gifted healer! From the moment I met her, she presented herself with a welcoming, kind, compassionate and calming presence. She truly listens and hears what your issues and concerns are! I had been diagnosed with a sprained rotator cuff, which was not only painful and limiting, but draining me of my energy! Although I love my primary care doc, his solution was to put me on heavy duty anti-inflammatory meds, which can be hard on your liver and have side-effects as well! I am not a stranger to acupuncture and was able to get an appt near where I live... I was fortunate enough to be seen by Laura.:) I had recently lost my husband, which Laura took into account with compassion, as well as my injury. I hope I am stating this correctly, but she explained that grieving can also contribute to the injury healing and that you hold grief in the left side of your body... the sprain is in my left side. Laura started with a 'clearing'... which I can only explain as "getting rid of my junk" ... I felt revived when leaving that day! I continued to see her for several more appts. I'm happy to say that my shoulder has improved 100% from when I had my first treatment, as well as other issues I had been having! Now for some gentle strengthening exercises. ;) I will continue to see Laura for monthly overall maintenance. But, at McLean Internal Medicine: we understand what the doctor is saying, he always runs on time, he remembers who we are, he never is rushed, he gets the diagnosis right or sends us to a specialist. The doctor take our blood pressure and vitals; there is no middleman to ask us why we are there. Even though I can't say exactly what about these things makes this place great, these are all the reasons why this place is the best.
