I have been here many times as there are not a ton of choices in this town for food. Their service is half decent. The wait staff kind of seems half hearted like they don't want to be there. I really don't get a welcoming feeling when I am there but it's close to my hotel and the food is half decent... a little hit or miss. The bowling looks fun but I don't bowl and Trivia nights are fun as well! I am not discouraging eating here I am saying don't expect to be blown away by anything. read more

Today Sunday February 1st 2026 we had a bad dining experience which left my husband sick. This is our favorite restaurant and we have never experienced anything but excellent food and excellent service here. My husband had the breakfast skillet and I believe it was the eggs that possibly made him sick because they were brown or dark and I assume it was from old or too much grease I'm not sure. My chicken fried steak was overcooked it was singed around the edges and had hard places and the food was very lukewarm. The IC we ordered was very bitter but the waitress was kind and replaced the t's with pop with no problem. To spend $40 a tip and then to get sick is very disappointing! This was our first experience coming in on a Sunday during the brunch time we were there at 1:00 p.m. I hope going for that no one else experiences this! read more

My family & I decided to try this place while in town for the evening. I ordered the Rueben with fries and it was delicious! The fries are amazing I ate way too many lol Our server was super sweet and got all 13 of our orders right. We appreciated that. The manager also checked in on us a lot and even had the kitchen make us an extra large desert pizza for the price of a regular size one which was super cool! We have zero complaints. My family very much enjoyed their food and the service as well. We will definitely be dining here again if we are ever in town! read more

While visiting from Arkansas, I placed a fairly large to-go order from Prime Time Grill and was beyond impressed. The cashier was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful, especially since I was ordering for a group that included vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters. He took the time to answer all my questions about the ingredients in the side dishes and made sure everything was accurate. The food was ready in a timely manner, packaged well, and the portion sizes were generous. There's a great variety of options on the menu, making it easy to satisfy everyone's preferences. My only suggestion would be to add a kid's cheeseburger meal to the menu. I had to order a full-size burger meal for my 7-year-old, but it wasn't a big deal and worked out just fine. Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night. Bowling was going strong in the back, but the bar and restaurant weren't too busy. We got in our drink orders and they came quickly. We ordered our entrees and they also arrived in short order, and were fresh and hot. I got the Cyclone Chicken Sandwich. It was tender chicken, with a nice flavored mayo, and surprisingly fresh tomatoes! My wife got the Buddha Bowl. The avocado was also super fresh, as were the other veggies. Generous 3 stars. Should be 2 -2 1/2. This is a combination restaurant and bowling alley with one being on each side and separate. I started with a Santa Fe salad with grilled chicken, small and several pieces of the lettuce were brown on the ends. Portion size small to medium for a meal. Ordered some chicken fingers but they were really heavily battered chicken nuggets which I did not finish. Regret not taking a picture. Oh well. Maybe they're better dishes here. We were traveling to Wichita from Kansas City and didn't want fast food or a chain restaurant so we thought we would try out this place. The food was great, our server (Faith) was great and we really liked the atmosphere. If I am traveling near Ottawa again, I would definitely eat here again. Stopped in for lunch while visiting my son at college. Fairly good sized lunch crowd. I got the Open Range Steak Sandwich and substituted Onion Rings. The onion ring breading was different it was light and more like a chicken fried steak batter. My wife got the Sliders and Fries. The Burgers were good and juicy and had good flavor. The server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean. The menu had a good variety and prices were decent. Their lunch menu offered a good selection but the normal menu is available during lunch as well. There is a full bar and a bowling alley in the back. I was fortunate enough to be a part of PrimeTime's soft opening. I have been to many a bowling alley and this is by far the nicest restaurant attached to a bowling alley. If I were to rate this place as a "Bowling Alley Restaurant" I would have to give it 7 of 5 stars. But as a stand alone restaurant, it is pretty darn nice. The decor is pretty basic, but the bones are great and it appears that there are some beginnings of some sports memorabilia on the walls already. I have no doubt the decor will be added to as time goes on. There is a full bar that doubles as the bar for the lanes. There is glass dividing the restaurant from the lanes. Most of this glass is comprised of two full height garage doors that can be opened to make a seamless transition from restaurant to the lanes. This will make for a pretty neat atmosphere at for certain parties. The doors were closed while I was there and could just barely make out the sounds of the pins crashing in the background. I know for sure most people over 50 probably wouldn't even know a full bowling league was happening a bit over 50 feet from where they are dining. Now...the food. For this launch, there was a preset smaller menu from which we were able to choose from. For apps we ordered the mozzarella sticks and the spinach dip. The mozzarella sticks were pretty standard but good. The spinach dip was very well done with cheese adorned crackers and pitas acting as a beautiful means of conveyance of the wonderful dip!!! (I really liked this app). For the main meal... Eater #1 had the salmon, #2 had the steak wedge (steak salad...may of had a different name), #3 had the simple Caesar, and #4 (me) had the BLT. Not a bad word was said by any Eater in my party. Some notes: #1 - The salmon looked a bit under cooked for my liking. #2 - The steak smelled amazing. The wedge felt very wedgy and a bunch of the heart of the lettuce was just not worth having on the plate. (I am not a fan of wedges, so maybe this is correct, but I reserve the right to not like it.) #3 - The Caesar was simple but not boring. Eater #3 (in my opinion) should have added a meat option. :) #4 - The BLT was really good. The avocado was spot on. I would prefer Texas toast as it just looks more substantial on the plate, but overall this sandwich was really well done. Dessert was comped for this soft launch. 2 of them. The first was a cheesecake that I was not able to get my fork into as the couple across from me destroyed it (jerks). The second was a peach cobbler of sorts. Great taste but a bit messy. I prefer a bit more of the crumbles in my cobbler. Overall....There are a few minor things that need to be cleaned up...but this is a very brand new place and I have no doubt that when I return in a few months it will be a well oiled machine. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a nice dinner at the PrimeTime!!! read more

We stopped here on a trip down the 35 freeway, and we are so glad we did! Everything we experienced was excellent! The mango habanero wings were great and the carrots were very fresh with homemade ranch dressing. I had the sunflower salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and my husband had the open range sandwich which was a fantastic Philly steak sandwich with a rich Au jus. When they first opened it did take a little bit to get food but as time goes on the servers are on top of everything and food comes out faster. Overall I've always had a great experience. Fantastic place close to the hotels and interchange. We had the cod sliders and Mac&cheese. The sliders were cooked to perfection with the fish texture proper but. It overdone and the bun toasted well and tasty. The Mac&cheese was a good portion side with three add-ons. The pasta was cooked properly and the cheese was tasty but no too heavy. I recently moved here from Johnson County, and the first place I tried out was Prime Grille. Walked in and was met by two of the bartenders, David and Nick, and they rocked. I had found a new home. Then, I tried the food. I had the open faced prime rib sandwich that first day and was sold. I went in the next day to watcha football game (they have over 30 TV's) and met Jered and another bartender who bowls for the University. Had a very well made martini for this little town. I have been going in ever since and have met a number of the regulars (Juanita and her friends) and now swear by the place. I have met two of the managers, Sara and David, who have been very cordial and helpful with food suggestions. The menu would surprise you with the quality and serving sizes. Who would figure a hopping and nice place like this was attached to a busy bowling alley (LOL). I have taken a few friends who have visited from JOCO and they totally agree that this place rivals some (snooty) places up there. I have become somewhat of a regular now for happy hour and meals and the place has grown on me. Hats off to the ownership, management, and entire staff for making people feel welcome and happy in their dining/drinking experience(s).
