Measurements were suppose to be done with 72 hours, this did not happen so I had to call the store twice only to find out the order was placed incorrectly. Had I not called I'd probably still be waiting. When it came time for installation the wrong back storm door was ordered! What is saving this review is the installation crew, Conlee and Dylan. They went over and beyond. They were able to correct the wrong door and get a new one here within minutes. They were professional. Did a great job with the installation. Totally respected the property. They cleaned up during and after the installation Explained everything as they were doing it. Just great service there. The actual store service people were disappointing. The actual doors themself were priced reasonable, and they provided nice discounts.

There is basically no signage and it can be hard to figure out where things are, but just ask and the guy at the counter knows where everything is. The staff has been super helpful every time I go in. Maybe a bit over-watchful but honestly I can't blame them for that. There are no lines in the small parking lot and it is not super clear where to park. Maybe anywhere is fine? The aisles are very tight and a bit claustrophobic. This isn't a place where you go and wander around to look at everything and find inspiration... it is a place where you need a thing, then you go and buy that thing and go back home to finish the repairs or project. Gardening stuff, plumbing repairs, painting supplies, butane for lighters, autumn mums, if you need it for your home they probably have it tucked away someplace. Prices are reasonable. Plus it's great to have a local place to buy stuff instead of giving money to the big box stores.

My mom purchased two identical rectangular…read morepillows from Room, both stenciled with the word "Buffalo" and the coordinates of the city (latitude and longitude). She gave one pillow to my dad and the other to me as Christmas gifts. Shortly thereafter, we discovered that the paint used to stencil the letters and numbers on the pillow was water soluble and wiped off with a damp paper towel. It would have been impossible to wash or even spot clean the front of the pillow case without also removing the stenciling. Today, well beyond the 14-day return policy stated on the receipt, my mom and I brought the pillows back to the store to see if there was anything we could do to protect the paint on the front of the pillow case (Scotchgard wasn't going to cut it). As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by an associate. We briefly explained our concern to the associate, and then without even batting an eye or even checking our receipt he apologized, stated that he was unaware of this issue, and immediately offered to exchange the pillows for other merchandise. We ended up selecting different Buffalo-themed pillows. Room offers beautiful contemporary furniture and home decor, and after spending time looking around the store and observing the quality of their merchandise, it's obvious that the faulty pillows were an anomaly and in no way typical of the products sold by Room. My mom and I were both impressed with this customer service experience and appreciate the attention we received.
