It actually hurts me to give this place this rating. When it opened it was the best, I'd always see my friends there when I went to eat, was remembered and invited when coming into eat. Someone new has taken over and has ruined it. Prices are crazy high anymore. This past weekend I called in an order for 18 tacos as a platter style thing for a birthday party, rice, cheese, sour cream, pico, like a whole chipotle bar. The idea was perfect. My brother was going to have a party with a few friends and I was going to get to feed everyone. I go to the restaurant, she hands me my bags, and I go to my brothers. Open the pack, and had a total of six tacos worth of food in all of this packaging. I called and the manager said she would deliver personally and she did. I appreciated the effort but it was an hour after we started eating the first part of the food and cake and basically I wound up taking a ton of food home to just trash because everyone was full from cake. They didn't even bring anything as an apology. Mentioned the birthday and couldn't even bring a piece of cake. It always stinks in here anyways and feels like i am inside of a yield sign, not coming back. read more

This place is pretty damn good. I love the way it is decorated inside and out. The tables were comfortable. I was going to give this place a 4 star rating but the women there are very friendly and beautiful. La chica de rojo, Muy Bonita. I'm talking movie level hot. Well, the food was great. I ordered a chicken tamale and a chicken torta with fries. It was very delicious. Juicy and plump, I always eat it if it's juicy. The chips and salsa were nice too. The horchata and Jamaica are insanely good. So much flavor. If you are in Virginia, give this joint a try. read more

It's close to holiday time (and closing) so it was not very crowded. The closer it got to closing, more people came. The service was good. Quickly brought out chips and salsa and my drink. The food looks amazing but did lack the flavor that I wanted it to have. My rice was not warm but it was also bland. The entree portion was decent after adding Cholula. I ordered delivery from here for the first time through a third-party app, so I can't speak to the dine-in experience. Unfortunately, based on this order, I probably wouldn't order delivery again. Two of the entrées we ordered were supposed to come with tortillas on the side, but none were included in the order. I had also ordered a large white sauce salsa and even called ahead to confirm they had it available. Instead, we received a large red salsa along with one very small ramekin of white sauce and a single small bag of chips to share between four adult entrées and one kids meal. Additionally, I requested onions to be added to one of the dishes, but that request wasn't included. The side "salad" that came with a few of the entrées was also very minimal--just lettuce and sour cream, without guacamole or other toppings that are typically included at similar restaurants. The food itself wasn't bad, but the restaurant was also significantly more expensive than other Mexican restaurants in the area. Given the number of missing items and mistakes with our order, it ended up being a pretty disappointing experience for the price. If we tried this restaurant again, I would likely opt for pickup or dining in to make sure the order is correct, however we most likely will not be ordering here again. read more

Nice Mexican food find right outside front entrance of Fort Gregg-Adams. This is a great place to go for lunch as it is right off the base of you are here for travel or work on base. The prices are fair and service is really fast. I decided to get Pollo Sambroso because I usually get chicken and chorizo dishes at these types of restaurants. Decided to try the new Mexican restaurant in Prince George, Primo's, and it was just okay. The chips and salsa was good, the salsa was chunky and full of flavor! I ordered the chicken burrito fajita(not texano), and it was so so the fajita veggies gave the dish some flavor. The beef in my taco had no seasoning or flavor. This was my first visit here and I will give it another try maybe for dinner just to see if there's a difference in the food. Overall the restaurant was nice and I got my food quick. read more

The place appears clean the atmosphere is inviting, and the employees are pleasant enough. Unfortunately the food fell short. I don't visit chain Mexican restaurants simply because I enjoy more authentic flavors, but hearing that this place started serving birria I decided to try them again. If it was only that the meat was chewy, or just that the tacos had a tablespoon of meet, or simply that I waited for an hour and the bill was $23 for 3 tacos and a drink I would have been fine. Food is great and that's the only reason I'm giving a 3 star. They advertise deals such as free kids meals with each purchase of adult meal but then after ordering they don't honor the deal. I pointed to the sign on the wall that reads "one free kids meals with each adult entree" and they tried to tell me it's one kids meal per table. Finally got the owner involved who told server they were wrong and it's per entree. Came back another day and they were advertising free cheese dip for every table. Asked for the cheese dip and the server never brought it. Asked a second time and it's brought it with our food and then it was on our bill. I told the server it was supposed to be free and she said sorry that's the price. We have come here regularly because the food has been really good but the poor service we continually receive has me looking for a new way place for Mexican fix. Honor the deals you post! We have been going to Primos for about a year+ and up until tonight had excellent service and food was always delicious. Tonight we had a different opinion- Our order was missing certain things that come with the dish, and when asked to have an ingredient left out due to medical reasons, we were told it doesn't come in it only to get home and the meal is chock full of the item we asked to leave out.. After calling about this found out they are under new management and they have new employees that are not familiar with menu... No. Nada. Nope. Ordered the simplest meal of chicken quesadilla & rice & it was subpar. The rice was pretty good. Light, fluffy & tasty. The quesadilla was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E! The tortilla was burnt, the chicken overcooked & dry, the cheese...what cheese? It was barely any on there. I was truly hoping this would become my go to spot for Mexican food bc it's so new & I'm returning to the area. But nah. If a quesadilla isn't cooked right, I'm hard pressed to try my chances again on any other dish. As much as I want to support local businesses I'm not impressed with the options. read more

I've been so excited about a Mexican restaurant being in this location since the "Coming Soon" signs were placed. This place is beautiful inside with an average ambiance and a family feel. The margaritas are on point. (I'm a frozen flavored margarita girl!) The menu is loaded with options and several dessert choices! Our server was very attentive. I ordered the burrito texano. It was meh. Plentiful chicken, steak and shrimp along with veggies. The grilled onions and green peppers were not that good, soft, flavorful grilled and still had that raw onion and pepper crunch which is great if you prefer that. The meats were not very seasoned, so with each bite I dipped into the beans or the cheese sauce that was on top of the burrito. The beans were amazing and I only eat the beans from one other Mexican restaurant. The service was pretty average. The guy who brought two of our entrées, I'm assuming the owner or manager, seemed to be extremely personable and sat speaking with a table later; an amazing energy. Definitely looking forward to visiting again allowing more time for Primo's to establish itself as we visited on the second day of business. read more
