I recently purchased a Christmas centerpiece. Unfortunately it looked nothing like the picture advertised on the website. It was missing candles, Christmas balls, and was a different shape. When I asked them to add more candles, Christmas balls and greenery to make the elongated shape, they were unreasonable and said that my options were to keep it as it was or get a refund. Even so what a thrill to receive a beautiful arrangement from my work from Primrose. The colors were fabulous, the flowers were varied and healthy and it lasted nearly three weeks. I had Primrose do the flowers for my wedding. I would NOT recommend them. My wife requested my bouquet to look like one found in a magazine. It did not look like that bouquet at all. More importantly, however, the contract specifically requested a certain type of flower that my wife loves -- the anemone -- and that was the reason we picked Primrose. The boutonniere for me was also wrong (again, the flower my wife loves, and the reason we picked Primrose). For both my wife's bouquet and my boutonniere, another flower of equivalent value was substituted, which was within the terms of the contract, but very disappointing because at no point were we notified of these changes. Furthermore, we requested that the corsages to be changed to pin on ones for the mothers. He only corrected one of the corsages. When the bridesmaids tried to call the florist to try to get the flowers corrected (or even just to talk to someone about the issues), no one picked up the phone. The florist just dropped the flowers off without talking to anyone. The florist claims he emailed us to notify us of the changes, but we never received such an email (or even a phone call). We did not receive any communication from him after the flowers were delivered or beforehand to let us know the flowers were changed, and this lack of communication was the most disappointing thing about working with him. To his credit, the owner apologized later (only after we complained) and offered us a gift certificate for future use. However, my wife and I were extremely disappointed overall and truly wish we had chosen a different florist for our wedding. read more

Stereotypical male I am I needed some last second flowers for my 5th anniversary. This place is down the street from me so I walked in and picked a vase of roses from the display. The clerk begin to wrap said bouquet when I noticed the roses looking a bit shabby. The clerk started picking off a few of the more offending petals, then decided to swap them out for some fresh roses. The replacements looked 100% better. Had I said nothing they would have sold me old product while fresher was available and that, my friends, will lose you a couple stars. After having a bad experience with a consultation with a different florist a month before my wedding, I found Primrose Extraordinary in a search on my GPS. I called the store, and was immediately given a postive impression from the owner Brian, who listened to what I was looking for, and gave me straighforward and reasonable quotes. He was VERY accomadating with my requests (I wanted local and seasonal flowers, and requested hydrangeas and a few specific flowers). My fiance and I met with him at the store, and just felt so at ease with his knowledge, creativity, and energy- that we signed a contract that day. The store was clean, neat and filled with a variety of art and gifts that made us want to stay and look longer! On August 8th, I arrived at my wedding venue to find that Brian, from Primrose had delivered the boquets and arrrangements early. They were breathtaking and my husband and I were complimented on them all day, and even up to a week later when pictures started coming back. They were perfect!! My husband and I will go to him for all our future flower needs and recommend Primose 100%. read more

Please do not use Primrose Flowers on Limekiln Pike. I purchased roses for my wife for Valentines day (Thursday) and had them delivered to her office. By Saturday, several were already "face down". When I called the shop, I was told that I could have a full refund. "Fantastic", I thought. these things aren't lasting and the merchant is going to take care of it. After all, they had a sign in the rose case the day I ordered them that the bouquets are guaranteed for 5-7 days. Nope!!! I received a call today from the owner that all she would do is replace them or issue store credit. I have no need of more flowers or any of the knick-knacks they have in their gift shop area. I just want my money back on a bad product. If you do choose to patronize them, do so at your own risk. They DO NOT stand behind their products. read more

I ordered flowers for a friend's Birthday from Primrose and they were nothing like the arrangement I had requested. They looked more like a funeral arrangement with lots of lillies which weren't even in the requested arrangement. Not only were they a great disappointment and a huge embarassment but reeked like a funeral home. Would not have given even one star because they certainly don't deserve that. We ordered our wedding flowers through Primrose, and the result was beyond my wildest dreams. I sent a link to my Pinterest page to their designer, Lara, who then scheduled a meeting with me and my family to review the details and discuss options for color schemes and flower types. When the flowers for my bridal party arrived, along with my bouquet, on the morning of the wedding, my heart skipped a beat. They were perfect!! When we got to the church, I was equally blown away by the two arrange,nets up front and the pew clips down the aisle. I had been uncertain of what I wanted for the church and m glad I trusted Lara's expertise. When we arrived at the reception, I was in awe -- the centerpieces were stunning nd I immediately thought to myself, "This looks exactly like the table setting I'd dreamed!"
