From a privacy perspective, I would expect more from a preschool. Regarding this particular Keller location, my nephew attended school here a year ago. He is on the spectrum, within one week he was asked not to return. The facility did not contact him directly, rather was told not to return by a note in his lunchbox.

Only thing I would change is the parents portal online which now it's not really a tool, it's just there with your info. I stand by my comment that you should be ashamed, not for posting the review, but for name dropping employees AND calling them racist. You do not know these people. It is one thing to leave a bad review since you obviously had a bad experience, but name dropping and calling people racist is a totally different scenario. Your review will follow these employees should they seek other opportunities. And for the record, my granddaughter is not 100% white and we have had zero problems. When I called a week prior before starting my child, Jennifer (the director) answered the call and she was not able to find my child's application. Since Hannah was not available, she had me waiting until Hannah comes in. Hannah returned my call and told me that she forgot to run the application and put my child on waiting list so now I have to wait for another two months before my child can start daycare there. With all of that she was not even apologetic and the director did not even have courtsey to call me back or apologize. I was so much relying on them and now I have to look for other daycares who can take my child in just one week. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

Immediately with us being overprotective we had a few concerns, which were instantly addressed by Ms. Melissa the director of this location. She even mentioned to one teacher, "Sebastian May be ok, but you have to make sure that mom is ok as well". This has been the constant support and response to every concern, which has been addressed with genuine and immediate resolution. Because of how my son has been thought of and taken care or we feel comfortable leaving him there extended hours during, Parents Night Out". He even participates in the extracurricular activities that the center offers for a fee and at age 2, he loves soccer! Academia is the final pillar of success that this location has delivered on. My son knows how to count to 20 (and has been able to since he was 23 months)! They've assisted in potty training him- he's nearly 100% independent! And his word usage has been recognized by family & friends as one of the strongest they've seen at his age. We thought about taking him out to a more economical school, but when we measured the return on value with the cameras, diversity, advanced learning, and low turn over of his classmates whom he loves, it's just unparalleled! From the moment you walk into the school, the environment does not feel particularly warm or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, has been the way my questions and concerns regarding the Odyssey program (TEFA funding) have been handled. I have been actively communicating with Odyssey regarding the funding process and was informed that the school could take up to 30 days to receive the funds. Odyssey also provided me with information that I was instructed to give to the school. I have been doing my best to act as the middle person between Odyssey and the school to make sure everyone has the information needed and that the funding process moves forward. Unfortunately, when I have tried to communicate with the Director of Admissions about the situation or asked if she could reach out to Odyssey directly regarding questions or clarification, I have not felt supported. Instead, I have been left feeling as though the responsibility of figuring everything out has been placed entirely on me. What has been most disappointing is the tone and manner in which I have been treated when trying to address these concerns. I understand that funding processes can be complicated and that the school may have its own policies and procedures, but I don't think that excuses being rude, dismissive, or unkind toward a parent who is genuinely trying to make sure everything is handled correctly. I would hope that a school serving children and families would prioritize patience, understanding, professionalism, and clear communication, especially when parents are making an effort to navigate a complicated funding process. I am not upset that there is a process to follow--I am highly disappointed in how I have been treated while trying to follow that process. I hope the school takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating a more welcoming and respectful experience for families.

Mrs. Cain- Preemptively enrolled my children in this daycare even though my ex and I share 50/50 custody and everything went down hill from there. ( They are only profit driven at least at this location) The kids continue to tell me that there is never any soap refilled in the dispensers and therefore my children were coming home sick every other week because basic safety features were not followed. Moving forward- The accounting department knew we were 50/50 custody and I asked a number of times to type up two different accounts so my ex (The FBI Special Agent) and I can keep our billing different. Things got progressively worse here and we came to a head when Mrs. Cain didn't know my children's whereabouts, even though they ride the CLA busses. How is this safe?? I own and operate a small business myself and I would never care for my patients the way CLA care for their children and respective families. I am a doctor and I am appalled that Mrs. Cain did not follow the divorce decree from day 1 and went by the verbal consent of my ex Mr. FBI Special Agent. I cannot speak any worse of this facility. My girls were called into the office and nothing was ever documented if it made the center look bad. Clearly, this business is profit driven and I will not cower to speak my mind just because my ex-husband Mr. FBI SPECIAL AGENT TRIED TO TRUMP ME and the school didn't follow our divorce decree. My oldest, well she's...been through a bit more. She's difficult, not even gonna lie about it. Her time there has had it's ups and downs. For awhile there it seemed like every day I went to pick her up there was an incident or behavior report. I was frustrated to the point of tears but the teachers and others assured me that she was a great kid, she just seemed to act out - they said I was not alone in my struggles and that it's just part of being in that age group. They would also talk to me about how smart she was, one teacher going so far as to say it's likely she was just bored. Well a couple weeks ago all kids transitioned up to the next classrooms. I was surprised to find that my oldest did not go to the classroom they had originally told me, but went to anther one. I'm not sure if they moved her there because of her size (she's a tall thing for 3) or her intelligence (there seemed to be older kids in there, but I could just be making stuff up) either way I AM THRILLED! I've had no issues since her moving to that class. She's been happy and excited to go to school each morning to her "big girl" class. I'm not sure if it's due to the curriculum, the older ages of the children, the new student/teacher ratio or what but I am pleased with where she is now. My one con I can say is that they don't seem to have a good teacher/kid ratio at times. I believe they have always been within the ratio in terms of state guidelines, but COME ON! I believe the state ratio is 1:12 children over 18 mo. (please feel free to enlighten me if this is wrong) but have you ever tried to watch 12 2-year-olds by yourself? Barf, no thanks. I will say I feel new management has done a little better about this, and I realize scheduling and call-ins can take an affect, but I've seen teachers at almost full capacity visibly struggle with the children. When you push a person to their limits no good can come out of it - set your teachers up for success, not failure. Beyond that I have nothing but good things to say: the rooms are tidy, the staff has been pleasant, the curriculum and extra activities they have is engaging and fun, and I have absolutely ADORED the teachers (they are quite possibly the reason I kept my sanity in terms of my oldest and feel no worries whatsoever with my youngest).
