He even calls after the procedure to check in and make sure you're doing okay, which really shows how much he cares. Just wanted a routine filling repair. But left with a botched crown job and lots of pain. Wanted to than suggest root canal; which I passed on, couldn't trust his work so far. Had wisdom tooth removed, which went ok, but didn't get post op care instruction (he said he went over it as I was sedated; not the best time and no print out of anything) and didn't get antibiotics till I mentioned it during the follow up a week later. Dr. Prince retired and Dr. Peter took over the practice, so don't trust the yelp review for accurate rating. read more

Did not like his care at all! Very dismissive and did not do his due diligence on cleaning my teeth. I ate popcorn before my visit and asked to brush my teeth and his assistant said that it would take too long and suggested I rinsed my mouth. He then took photos of my teeth and said I had decay on my back tooth. The decay spot was actually a kernel from the popcorn. Would not recommend at all. read more

I've been a patient of Prince Dental Care close to a decade (since 2016), even long before Dr. Nav took the practice over from Dr. Prince. Dr. Prince did miracles during his tenure and I had great interactions with the his staff too. I have to say their quality of service and communication has been going downhill fast since than. Dr.Nav, consistently failed to figure out what is wrong with a toothache, only after months saying it is too late for a filling and needs a crown. Things went more painful after the crown so this time he suggested root canal. I had root canal almost 2 years ago but I still have pain in that tooth! Most of the team already left or replaced. The new hygienists are not good (the ones remaining from Dr. Prince era are still great though!). One time I had a session with a hygienist who I never saw before and I never see her after that. It felt like I was her job interview subject. On communications front they started texting you multiple times before appointment date but instead of a reminder tone, they include a threatening message that I'll be charged for no-show (in almost 10 years, I had zero no-shows). I had been thinking of finding another dentist for a while and after moving out of town decided to finally pull the trigger. When I reached out to them for my previous records, they told me (in their own words!) "Once a patient walks out of the door, it is not their priority anymore" and they would try to provide the records when they have time for me at the end not sending the records before my appointment. Ironically, I was also going to put an order for a set of aligners during my call since they already have my measurements but why more business to them since I am not their priority anymore. p.s. I had been coming to this location for years and sadly after the original Dr. Prince had left and the people who had taken over the care has gotten less than perfect there was an amount that was not covered by my insurance, and I called to pay off my account however, there was a charge for missing an appointment for a cleaning. This was a last-minute decision upon my part however, they did not have a problem rescheduling my original appointment and that's what caused me a conflict. I was happy to pay off the the total amount and go elsewhere for service, I sure hope the $50 was worth losing a customer amongst others also. read more

Dr. Nav is wonderful. He is kind with a great chair-side manner and also quick and efficient. Besides regular checkups, I had to have a crown replaced and also an old filling replaced within the last few months. Both procedures were surprisingly quick and I have had no follow up problems with either. I was expecting a long afternoon in the office getting my broken crown replaced. I was pleasantly surprised to be done in less than 90 minutes! Likewise my filling replacement only took about 35-40 minutes. Both are perfect. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Nav. read more

Heads up! This practice has changed hands, but... I think it's all going to be JUST FINE! Story: I had an appointment for today to have all four of my wisdom teeth extracted; not excited about it on a good day. I found out *last night* that the practice was sold to Dr. Peter. I was not comfortable having a big deal procedure done by a doctor I've never met. I changed the appt to a consultation and told Dr. Peter that I didn't want to have my wisdom teeth removed (never really did) without some major evidential damage. He looked at my last x-rays and examined my teeth. He agreed that he didn't see anything that would really require me to have them extracted. This is HUGE. It's hard to find a dentist that is not pushing a bunch of extra work/charges. I feel like the universe was telling me something with this timing and the ownership change! I'm super happy to see how my future appointments go. All of the rest of the staff remains, including the super friendly Alexia and the lovely hygienist Brianna. One more thing to note, Dr. Peter is young but only has two years less experience than Dr. Nav. So if you loved Dr. Nav, please give Dr. Peter a try! I had been going to Dr. Prince for 12 years so when he sold his practice I wasn't sure how I would feel about Dr. Nav. I personally think I like Dr. Nav better then DR. Prince. He has a wonderful chairside manner and is caring about discussing what I need. My appt. was for X rays, cleaning and exam. I have been in the dental field since 1969 as a dental assistant, dental hygienist and Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene. I have been to many dentists over the years, plus my husband was an Oral Surgeon here for 25 years. Recently I was seeing another dentist who took over when mine retired. After he did some fillings for some reason I can't explain I felt I wanted to have a consultation for the dental implant tooth that is in progress with Dr Nav and the two fillings that were just done did not look or feel right. . It was one of the best things I've ever done. He did a very thorough exam and found so many problems I was totally shocked. He could see how upset I was and he really showed a lot of understanding and concern. Since I know how to read dental X-rays and he also takes detailed photos it was obvious that despite having gone for regular checkups my teeth were in bad condition although it was not really obvious unless you had the state of the art diagnostic equipment Dr Nav used. One reason I wanted to go to him was that he does Cerac crowns and I ended up having 2 crowns replaced with Cerac and he was able to save both teeth which were badly decayed under the crowns. He is one of the most gentle dentists I've ever had and the way he and his assistant, Priscilla, work together puts you at ease despite what can be very long appointments. All of his staff are friendly and competent. He is very soft spoken, has a good sense of humor and obviously loves practicing dentistry. I know this is a long review, but that's because I'm so happy to have finally found a dentist I like and trust. read more
