I was a first time patient and will never come back. The staff is friendly but the office looks nicer online. My first issue was the Dr and the hygienist were talking in English and then in another language and would suggest different services and then go back to talking in another language so I couldn't understand what they were saying. Second issue was the Dr is so heavy handed my mouth was sore for 3 days after a cleaning. Third, The Dr also suggested UNNECESSARY procedures that I "needed" Lastly, but the most important is when my X-rays were taken they were so dark that you can't even see my roots. She is also very up to date and educated on latest technology involving dentistry and oral hygiene and gives great recommendations on these matters. Dr. Josephine and the front desk person have given me the most excellent experiences I could ever wish for. Dr. Josephine is very careful and precise with her work. She also goes above and beyond and informs me on all questions I may have, even ones that have nothing to do with my current procedures. I checked my insurance provider to see which Dentists were in their plan and were also accepting new patients. This practice came up so I called to make a first appointment. The receptionist asked what Insurance I had. I answered Delta. Then he asked which specific plan I had - the PPO or the Delta USA. I answered "Delta USA". That apparently wasn't the hoped-for answer, because then I was told to "call back in an hour, because we're having lunch right now." Really??? read more

They are not answering their phones (hung up on me 5 times today) and we need them to change a referral ASAP. My mom went there 3 weeks ago with horrible pain in a tooth. They said she needed an extraction but were super vague about price and when they could do it. After 10 days on antibiotics and several calls they didn't answer, they said she can't do the extraction and needs a referral. They referred us to a doctor that was booked out for at least 2 months!! I called around and found another surgeon that can do it this Thursday, but they're refusing to change the referral after they told me they would change it last week. Insurance won't cover it without a referral. Such a hassle to get someone on the phone, and then they don't follow through. read more

I would give negative stars for this business if I could. The receptionist who is a male was very rude! When I arrived, I was told I did not have an appointment and that my call was only to inquire on the office. I remembered an appointment time provided. Because of my insurance change I needed to find a dentist who takes my insurance. Upon having my cleaning, I was also advised of having to have more work done and was provided costs out of pocket and was told my insurance is not even insurance. I was told it was a discount card! I now question if this dentist is violating the FCA. highly recommend do not see this dentist. I questioned going with it being in a high area of country providers. I elected not to proceed with them but they will not stop calling or emailing despite my non-response & my asking them to remove me from their list. They have even called twice in one day before. Due to a change in insurance I recently started looking for a new dentist and made an appointment with Dr. Clemente. I had an appointment for 10:00am and arrived at 9:58am. There was no one at the receptionist desk but there was a clipboard to sign in, which I did. I had a seat in the reception area. I saw someone walk by the reception area several times but no one acknowledged my presence. Finally at 10:30am a man came over to the reception area and told me I could come in the back. There was no explanation for the delay. He showed me to an area and said I could be seated in the dental chair. I sat there for another 15 minutes. During that time a woman came in twice to get something out of a drawer but didn't speak to me or acknowledge my presence. After waiting 45 minutes with no explanation of what was happening, or any acknowledgement that the dentist would see me, I gave up and left. read more

just tried deep cleaning at her clinic. I feel so much difference with my gums. I highly recommend it for other patients. Dr. Clemente's office is very busy and that's how you know that business is good. Not only she does regular cleaning but she does, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, cosmetic and all that good stuff. She has a hygienist who helps her, Mr. Vic, they both have light hands and they are careful. They make sure your numb before they start any procedure. They make sure you're comfortable. They talk to you first regarding your treatment plan and how much insurance had to pay and how much is patient's responsibility. Insurance doesn't cover everything and it is costly to go a dentist. That's why Dr Clemente always tell her patients, to brush and floss always! read more

With Covid still prevalent these days, Dr. Clemente's office is very sanitary and always asks patients to complete the necessary paperwork to ensure Covid safety and that insurance policies are updated. Upon arrival and admittance, guests are required to complete a temperature check. The office works around your schedule and it's a plus that they're open on Saturdays! They send a text to remind you of your upcoming appointments as well, in case a forgetful person like me forgets. All my cleanings, polishings, wisdom teeth removals and x-rays were completed with care by Dr. Clemente and her staff. Her hygienist, Mr. Vic, is also very gentle and thorough. Another plus is that there is a parking area with ample space for the many patients that come visit! read more

I'm currently on the hunt for a new dentist. I've been coming to Dr Clemente for years because I was on my parents plan. For the most part the staff is friendly, of course that is when she has staff. The last two years I went Dr. Clemente has not cleaned my teeth, it was someone else. When I call requesting information about services and the appropriate fees I can never get a response from her husband (who I believe is the office manager) or the insurance person. I do feel a little ripped off when I go because I haven't been able to see Dr Clemente and talk about my oral health. I needed quite a bit of work done and was looking for a new dentist near my area when I came across Josephine Clemente's office and decided to give it a shot. I liked the benefit of them being open Saturdays. The front desk clerks were very nice and which is not the same I can say for Josephine. They charged me $200 solely for a consultation when confirming with my insurance should have been covered. I went in knowing I was going to be needing multiple visits but Josephine was very aggressive in informing me that I had very bad oral health. No one should try to embarrass their patient during their visit but she made it a point to do so. She recommended costly procedure that after getting a second opinion, do not apply to the work I actually need to get done. On top of that it was nearly impossible to get a detailed list of what I was being charged for since I was paying partially out of pocket I wanted to know. I feel a little ripped off on top of the atmosphere and culture in the office was overall poor. Appointment is at 1pm but I'm not being seen until after 2pm? Because of culture, pricing and professionalism I will not be going back nor do I recommend this office to anyone. I recently met Dr. Josephine Clemente for the first time approximately one week ago. I had not seen a dentist since my dentist retired over 6 years ago. So mind you my mouth is in trouble quite a few cavaties a couple of holes in my teeth. Along with this I'm terrified of going to the dentist. Prior to seeing Dr. Clemente I had a deep cleaning by another dentist that was extremely painful during and after the procedure. My experience with Dr. Clemente last week she deep cleaned the first side of my upper and lower teeth, and this week she finished the other side of deep cleaning. (Pain Free during and after cleaning). This is the first time ever I am completed comfortable with going to see Dr. Clemente. She is THE MOST GENTLE DENTIST EVER! So if you are afraid and terified of going to the dentist like I am, Go see this amazing Dentist she will completely take your fear and pain away during and after the procedure. If she ever retires I will be in trouble, because I don't trust dentist. Dr. Clemente and her staff are wonderful and caring people. The first time I saw Dr. Clemente, her dental assistant put her fingers in my hair with both hands and commented on how nice my hair was, I noticed that she did not wash her hands afterwards. I haven't been to the dentist in a really long time and unfortunatly my teeth suffered, my gums were very tender and although I was visibly in pain during the exam, Dr. Clemente pretended to not notice, I then told her it hurts and she said "um" and proceeded to finish the exam. She only gave me numbing gel after I was moving around so much because of the pain it was difficult for her to continue. Scheduling a follow up to take care of cavities and perform a gum treatment with her was probably a mistake, but I did it anyway. This portion of my review is the reason for the 1 star, I'd give 0 stars if I could. I arrive to my appointment 15 minutes early at 11:45 am, my appointment was at 12pm. I noticed there was no one in the waiting room and it didn't sound like there was any other paitents being seen. The receptionist, an older gentlemen, was on the phone with my insurance provider, I knew it was me because he kept saying my name and how much. I found it odd that he was going over the financials while I was there, but I lisened closely to try to figure out what was going on. When I checked my watch I had been in the waiting room for over 45 minutes! I decided to ask if there was a problem with my insurance, and Dr. Clemente told me to just come back because she was ready for me. I didn't feel comfortable having her do work before I knew how much I was expected to pay so I asked again if there was an issue with my insurance. At this time the receptionist was there and he and Dr. Clemente start arguing, in a different language what my total would be. From what I gathered when they did speak in english in front of me, was that it was first $50, then $110, then $165. The price changed 2 times in a matter of minutes and caotic disagreements. I had never experienced this level of disorgination before. She again tried to motion me to come back to the exam room and I told her I wasn't comfortable having work done until I understood how much I was paying and I would like to speak with my insurance company before I did anything. She then got offended and snapped that I had already agreed to the terms when I enrolled, and that no insurer would pay for the full dental procedure. I told her paying for the procedure was not the issue, but I want to know how much I am paying and what I am paying for exactly. With that I left and never went back. Now I'm looking for a new dentist and a second opinion on if those procedures are necessary or if she was just trying to get money out of me. read more

Where do I Start?! Her husband! He is the behind the curtain receptionist! He is Rude! Screams,WHATS YOUR PROBLEM?!! He even called me and hung up on me ! I called back and asked Why he did that.. he said he needed to put my number in his phone. So now I see the dentist- told her I was nervous, she offered laughing gas but didn't even attach it to my face- she seemed very afraid of the machine which made me more nervous! No relief there. Filled a couple of cavities- when I went back for a check up she says she forgot to charge me for the gas and asked doe an additional $45.00 . I asked for a detailed list of what she did on my teeth. She told me her 'Secretary ' was out to lunch and could not provide it herself! There was a sheet hanging up behind the desk and her husband 'Secretary ' was Eating his heated up leftover food there!! The smell was unbelievable!! Let me start off by saying I AM PETRIFIED of dentists! I have had 1 dentist fire me as a patient because he said I was a liability to him because I couldn't sit still. He was afraid he would drill my tongue or something because I was so scared and would not quit moving! Yesterday, Dr Clemente had to pull 2 of my teeth. I swear, I didn't sleep the entire week before my appointment because I was so scared of "THE NEEDLE". I sat in that chair with my knuckles, my knees, my butt, ANYTHING clinchable was clinched! I thought about just getting up and bolting for the door and dealing with my dental issues! At least that wouldn't hurt! Then here came my worst nightmare...THE DENTIST! I asked her if she was nice with her needles and of course she said YES. Then I could here her loading up the gun getting ready to shoot it in my mouth and kill me! I could not believe what was happening to me! She put some jell stuff on my gums and began poking my gums over and over! I DID NOT feel ANYTHING! She must of stabbed me 50 times with that dagger, but I literally felt NOTHING! I've never had a dentist poke me with NO PAIN ! EVER! Good thing she poked me so many times because 1 of those teeth was a little reluctant to come out! Eventually she slayed that nasty tooth and gave it a good fight! The only pain I felt was after the novocaine wore off once I was home, but she gave me a prescription for that also. I can say Dr Clemente is as "pain free" as a dentist can be!
