I had called, emailed, and called again for almost two months, trying to get in for a cleaning and a consultation on Invisalign. My mother had to write him, personally, Dr. Kimche, for anyone to respond to set up an appointment. Finally, speaking to someone was told that Dr. Kimche was out of town for the last month, but honestly, I feel this to be very unprofessional. Not one person could respond to my several emails or phone calls. During my conversation, I had set up a cleaning and a consultation on Invisalign as well as regarding removing my permanent retainer since I have a metal allergy. They had stated they only had one day available: Monday, a day I work, and I made sure to take some time out of work to make this happen. A week following my appointment, I was sent some paperwork regarding my insurance, the reason for being there, allergies, etc... I filled it out to make the process go faster once I got in there. On the day of my appointment, they stated they had never received any of the paperwork I had filled out until I told them I had, and surprisingly, it show's up! Finally, they took me back, immediately starting me on a scan for the Invisalign instead of the cleaning. I was slightly confused but went with it, thinking they would do this first and then the cleaning. While in the process, I had one of the assistants come up to me and explain that my insurance was giving them a hard time but not at any given time did they say they did not accept my insurance when they had my information for a week. She had stated that since I hadn't used my dental insurance yet, it hadn't been activated!? Again, I was confused! I had never heard of that before, but she said she would take care of it and work with my insurance. In the process of still being scanned, I was told of all the great things Invisalign can do for you and the price for the month that it would take to move my teeth back into place. She had stated it's usually around $2,000, but your insurance tends to either pay half if not more. Hearing this, I wasn't too concered and finally asked about the cleaning I had scheduled for. She acted confused and notified me that the person who did the cleaning had gone home because she wasn't feeling well and was the only one who could do an "excellent cleaning." Again, Unforprofessional! Two days later, I received a phone call from them regarding the Invisalign, where I was told that my insurance would not cover me because I was over eighteen, "mind you, this is my employer-provided insurance"! I am covered! She then told me that a month's supply of Invisalign without insurance would be around $3,000! How did it increase by $1,000 more than I had previously been quoted? I immediately told her NO! I was not going to go through with this! After being on the phone with my insurance, I was told that Dr. Kimche was out of my network, which is why I was not covered. My insurance did not state that I was not covered due to being over eighteen! I am fully covered with a $50 deductible. 100% coverage on preventive care "check-up/cleaning." 50% on all major dental work and orthodontics, including Invisalign! So, during my 2 1/2 hour consultation, I got some relief with the removal of my permanent retainer, no cleaning, and no Invisalign, but a notice from my insurance that there is no coverage at all, and now I owe $360 to a facility who doesn't know their head from their ass! Again, I was still not notified that they did not take my insurance even after, all! Oh, but don't get me wrong, everyone was extremely nice to me, but I would never recommend them to anyone!

But I've talked to her a lot when I scheduled our entire family AND scheduling my gum regression surgery. So, I've been seeing a lot of them lately. One thing I love love love is that I went in the day after my surgery and all the staff who has worked with me ALL came by to check on me. All of them! That's greatcustomer service. It really made me feel special! My sons are teens and needed to switch from a pediatric dentist to an adult dentist, since they have all their adult teeth. I couldn't be happier that this is their first adult dentist experience. As with any doctor or dentist, check with your insurance to see if they're a primary provider so you maximize your benefits.

Based on the reviews on here and the timing of when I went, I'm guessing it was "Dr." Pope, since he apparently no longer works there, although it could have been Dr Proctor. Whichever "doctor" it was seemed to be more interested in cracking jokes than fixing teeth. I hadn't been to the dentist in 2 years, so I was expecting them to find some cavities. Instead I was rather surprised to hear that I had no cavities. 6 months later (in April 2024) I returned for a checkup/cleaning, and, once again, was told everything was fine. Fast-forward to December 2024, and I had moved out of the area and saw a new dentist. There I learned that I not only had 4 cavities in 4 different teeth, but that one of them (an old root canal) was so decayed that it wasn't worth saving, and another one (another root canal), not only had decay, but also had an abscess that was draining puss. My current dentist informed me that based on the damage to the gum/bones and the puss drainage it clearly had been going on for several YEARS, and that my prior dentist AND hygienist would have had to have been blind or incompetent not to notice the abscess. I had this confirmed by an endodontist to make sure my dentist was correct. So in April, according to Dr Pope and the hygienist at Smile/Dorius Dental Designs everything was fine. By December, I've got a mouth full of cavities and an abscess. Clearly my mouth didn't suddenly start falling apart in just 8 months. They didn't just miss a cavity on one tooth ---- they missed at least 2 (including an infected abscess years in the making), and probably 4. I would strongly encourage anyone who went to see that Pope quack, to get yourself to another dentist to make sure your teeth are in the shape he told you they were in. And we should all be demanding our money back at a minimum. As an update, a day after I posted this, Dr Proctor emailed me. He had zero interest in my experience, but, instead was primarily concerned that I mentioned his name as possibly being the inept dentist I saw. It was, in fact, Dr Pope who was the clown that I saw, who, conveniently, is no longer working there. Dr Proctor suggested that I remove my review because of this. The fact that he, as co-owner of the office, refuses to take responsibility for hiring a quack dentist (Pope) or cares about the damage he may have done to patients, speaks volumes about the integrity...or lack there of...of this dental practice. Additionally, the hygienist, who totally missed an oozing abscess on my tooth, is still working there.

We used yelp to look up a nearby dentist and found Dr Dorrough with Heber City Dental. I went to website and saw the Dr had over 24 years of experience and thought he would be the best fit. We called office to make appointment and the office was so kind and accommodating to get us right in the next day. We got to the office and It was absolutely gorgeous and clean. The office staff was warm and comforting and put my friend at ease. My friend isn't a fan of going to the dentist so was really nervous. The doctor was very honest and gentle. My friend was really happy with his results and wishes this dentist was in Las Vegas area. I highly recommend this office and will be referring my Utah family to come be patients! :)
