I had my headphones on, and I was walking up and down the isles, looking for earrings for a trip coming up, and the employee came up and took my baskets stating I was not able to carry my basket around , I was a little confused since I had been there years with no issues. I typically don't pay attention to the employees when I'm there, but then I realized they were following me around like a hawk. Which I get it to an extent, but I wasn't doing anything suspicious I typically walk in the center of the isles and just look at everything. I only touched stuff if it's something I'm potentially interested in. No big bag I had a small fanny pack. What made it worse was that then I watched other people walking around with their baskets being able to freely shop. Maybe because I keep my headphones on and just look for what I'm looking for, but they felt a certain way. I don't go in corners of the stores or anything. I just go there to shop. Like I said, I have been going here for most of my adult life. I felt super uncomfortable and yucky after that. I will not be returning. The night that I purchased the items, the store was closing so I called the store as soon as I saw the rips to ensure that my long distance number would be on the store's call log when they opened the next day. Unfortunately they did not have an answering machine. I attempted to return the ripped dress the next day even though I'd detached the tags. I figured the number of items that I purchased, the amount of money that I had spent, the fact that I'd called as soon as I found out the dress was ripped, the fact that I was visiting from another state, and the fact that my daughter and I came back to purchase more items would have been enough to receive an exception to the return policy rule concerning detached tags. The manager, Pablo, was nasty, condescending, and kept a sh%t eating grin on his face when telling me that I could not receive an exchange. More importantly, I did not want a refund, but I wanted to exchange the rip dress for another dress. Although, I will never patronize this store again, I recommend that anyone purchasing items from this store to try on all items before purchase. Lastly, I would like to say that the cashiers that assist me the night that I purchased the items had great customer service etiquette. If only Fanny & Isaiah's manager, Pablo, had great customer service skills like they do, I'm sure the store would have a 5-star rating!

He reshaped my hat! redid my laser! and the customer service from evrryone in that store, especially this manager and John was something from another world. It took a long time just to get a women's fitting room, and when we asked for help with boots and sizing, we were basically told that whatever was out was all they had. I also needed help finding boots that would work for wider calves, but we weren't given many options or much assistance. My husband was already pretty frustrated with the service at that point. Thankfully, we came across the manager, Steven, and he completely turned our experience around! He took the time to help me find the right size boots and helped with my wide-calf concerns. He also helped my husband get properly fitted for a hat. What started as a frustrating experience ended up being a great one because of Steven. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Steven is the reason we left happy and deserves recognition for his excellent customer service!
