Been a member for years. This is the middle of the road gym. Lots of equipment, maintenence of the equipment is often mediocre, recently had 3 weeks of little to NO hot water in the shower. Indoor pool ok although the ceiling paint is litering the pool bottom for a few months now. Outdoor pool, lovers and kids encouraged, lap swimmers not supported. Competitive BBall and tennis. Something to be proud of despite security courtside. Staff genuinely nice. Weekend sales venders at the door. Annoying and some cringworthy. read more

Clean and an abundance of equipment and classes. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lose a star for the women's sauna. I've been a member for two years and have made multiple suggestions regarding the sauna. The boards are black, the door doesn't close shut and the lighting is way too bright. The Princeton Club is beautiful! The Princeton Club New Berlin opened in 2002 and was originally called Motion Fitness Racquet Club. Retired Green Bay Packer star Donald Driver visited here years ago for a special event. Please be sure to ask about possible discounts. It is an excellent deal and there is a wide variety of activities for everyone. The basketball and tennis courts are awesome. There is both an outdoor pool and an indoor pool along with water slides. There is a great track for running and walking. There is an excellent selection of weight machines and exercise equipment. In addition, there is a nice restaurant and gift shop too. The Princeton club has several locations in Madison and has won multiple awards. When I visit Wisconsin, I look forward to a guess pass here. I don't want to sound like a male Karen and this is actually my first ever review on this app but I'm an Active duty military member trying to obtain a 3 day pass while I'm home for just the weekend. I called ahead to make sure I can come in sign whatever papers, workout, and leave so I can enjoy time with family. Turns out membership never did their job, and the front desk workers were no help. I was told that I had to wait 45 minutes to an hour just to sign a piece of paper to workout. It was inconsiderate and nice to know how they value peoples time. It wasn't the outcome so much that bothered me but how the two front desk workers handled it. Their tone and clear disregard was bothersome. I felt the need to post this because that kind of behavior shouldn't go unpunished. Maybe that's the army in me but disrespect should never be tolerated read more

First and foremost; the Princeton Club has the best staff. The customer service is exceptional!!! The club is very clean, offers everything from working out, tennis courts, indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, locker room saunas and steam rooms, basketball, etc. The club is open 24 hours and very actively involved in the community (hosting fundraisers and different community events). I love this gym. We have been to a few different gyms over the years, and none have felt this much like home as the Princeton Club does for us! This is the first gym that my wife and I have actually WANTED to go back to weekly, even daily! We love the child care, the overall gym floor, the walking track, the pools! Everything! We even took our first beginner's kickboxing class together, and had the greatest time in it! I also enjoy using the Princeton Club phone app for gym challenges, setting myself goals, and looking up classes. I signed up about 1 month ago and love it so far. I got a discount for paying for 2 years up front which saved me a good amount of money. I've been going regularly along with my 2 young kids. I have a 1 year old as well as a 3 year old. The kid care is awesome. They separate the kids by age. They have an under 2 years of age kid care and 2 year old about above kid care. The ladies in the kid care are super friendly and love the kids. As for the workout area, it's super clean and they have plenty of free weights, weight machines and cardio equipment. The basketball court is huge and the pools are awesome for kids. The locker room is super clean along with the sauna and steam room. read more

Stopped by considering a membership and no one was wearing masks, despite gym being located in Waukesha, a high transmission county per CDC and only 56% of Wisconsinites are fully vaccinated. CDC guidelines posted as of 9/1/2021 recommend that even fully vaccinated adults wear masks in indoor settings in counties where risk is high or substantial. When I asked the front desk member why no one was wearing masks, and she said because it's not recommended (actually, it is, albeit not required - there's a difference). When I asked member services, she said there are no CDC guidelines (yes, indeed there are), and said, "but we have spray bottles." Erm, Covid is mainly an airborne virus. Okie doke, that tells me enough that this place isn't for me, and business doesn't take the time to even ensure front line employees are educated. I get it - a gym membership is voluntary. I'm a health care worker, and would be nice if businesses cared as much about our health and wellness. Home gym it is :) read more

I like the gym a lot but the pricing is to much very expensive but I think worth it but they should lower down the price even though the gym is very clean and good the pricing is like 60 dollars a month for 24 months and like 70 for 12 months but overall very clean good gym but the price range is expensive. read more

I would give NO stars if it were an option. guest pass rules are extremely strict and due to a miss input with my boyfriends 4 hour prior notice, they were not only not allowed in, but profiled by a MANAGER as "trespassing" and "trying to sneak in" when they were standing at the check in desk, two of the boys in the group were members, and the other two were guests more than ready to pay the fee. they have been guests for multiple occasions and not once have experienced such a disrespectful and unprofessional encounter. for this business to have a manager openly disrespect paying members is absolutely absurd. will not be returning. read more

The club itself is great. Water park smells heavily of chlorine which generally means they just add chemicals to kill bacteria but still ok. Recently cancelled my membership, lost 400 worth of training sessions and had to pay the cancellation fee. Fine I was relocated for work, my loss. I paid for an additional 2 months then the first of October another few comes out. Called 6 times. Left messages for someone named Kathy and the membership department. Finally refused to leave a message and sat on hold until Amber could help me. I told her it's because my husbands wasn't cancelled she agreed and then told me I should have been charged even more to cancel. WTF. So after six calls and over 700 in fees and lost sessions my member ships are finally cancelled. Little ridiculous if you ask me. read more

Lots of machines, nice indoor track, FREE classes (paid ones too if you want a smaller group, more trainer based class). Subway / Bar area are a nice bonus! Parking can sometimes be obnoxious - especially in the winter when the snow piles up in the corners of the lot and the gym is it's busiest. read more

I'm so grateful to be apart of Princeton Club. They have such friendly staff and the gym is always clean... which is refreshing! The kids groups are awesome and my 3 boys love to go swimming. This is a great gym with a lot to offer. There are a lot of machines and a wide variety of them. It's nice that there are machines to use on both levels of the gym. The classes that they offer are great. There is a variety of both paid classes and free ones. The personal trainers are great too. Went in to try this place out and get in my basketball fix in from the winter cold. Walked in the place and was immediately greeted by multiple friendly voices. This was to try out the one week free trial they give out to interested joiners. I was surprised how quickly there GM came out and greeted me and got me started with the trial pass. As I explored the gym floors, yes multiple floors, I was helped by multiple staff members to find the locker room, basketball gym, and pool. I loved that the place has plenty of space where it wasn't overly crowded. There had to be 10-12 baskets to shoot on and space for other pick up games to go on as well. Still need to decide if it's worth the drive to New Berlin from the airport area but it's because of the distance, not the gym. If I lived closer it would be a no brainer. read more

What can you say... probably the nicest place in the area. They really have everything one would need to workout. Steam, sauna, hot tub, pool, tennis , hoops, cycling, kids activities and more. Child care offered at no cost. Teen son loves the equipment offered, pool and atmosphere. Very nice tennis courts, spin facility and cross fit available. This really is as good as it gets! I absolutely LOVE this gym. I am one of those gals that tends to swing with my weight, so one of the things I love most are the programs for this. Such as the Biggest Loser, this program certainly keeps you accountable! Now they have an outdoor pool which I love too! They have daycare that is free, so it's easy to get there with the little ones! I use a personal trainer which I think is totally worth it and affordable, I also am a fan of the classes. All these aspects are what helps me and keeps me going. Staff is great and works with each person's needs! Highly recommended! read more

Great gym. The tennis facilities and instructors are great. The instructors go out of their way to find an appropriate class/group to play with. There are many cardio/weight machines and quite a bit of variety with classes, etc. While I didn't get around to using the outdoor pool last year, it's beautiful! I'm there 3-4 times a week and am always greeted. There are always lots of clean towels and the club is very clean. I don't usually use the locker rooms there, but the showers are definitely nicer than other clubs. Parking can be rough at times, but that's my only complaint. read more

Nice place, but too expensive for me.....I just finished the 1-week trial membership that this facility offers, and I was impressed. This club has a lot of really nice amenities, and only a couple downsides. The pool is always warm and clean, the locker rooms don't smell like a locker room, and the interior of the rest of the facility is well cleaned despite the fact that I never saw anyone cleaning anything. They have a complimentary towel service and most group classes are included in the membership. If you have children, they offer a daycare service (also included in the membership) for while you are there. The basketball courts have two sides, one for adults and one for children, with ample room on both sides. While there are plenty of cardio machines (most with TVs built into them) and nautilus machines, they have started to fall into disrepair. There are plenty of free-weights to choose from and there was never any real wait to get on them. During their busiest times, I never felt I couldnt get on something I wanted to use. Ultimately I chose not to join, as the membership costs were just too expensive. There were no joining fees, but you are required to sign a 1 or 2 year contract with a slight discount on the 2-year contract. Both were 3 times more than what I currently pay for a gym membership and it wasnt enough to dissuade me from leaving my current gym. The somewhat curt sales staff was unwilling (or maybe unable) to haggle or budge on any of the prices and didnt really seem to want to try sell me on the club; I was left with the impression that 'You can either afford it or you cant'. The Princeton club is a fine place and really shows off the difference between a 'gym' and a 'health club' but you need to be willing to fork or some serious dough to get any benefit from it. read more

Great full service gym for families. There is a kids activity room, gym and workout room. Childcare is free. There are many tennis courts and additional equipment besides general weights and aerobics. The pool is child friendly. My son enjoys eating at the attached Subway on the way out of the gym. read more

Yes they had some problems but they're doing major strike to not let it affect the members and listening to people's concerns. Great gym. Clean. Friendly staff. All the equipment you may need upstairs AND downstairs. Downstairs machines contain so much variety for each muscle group (coming from a student who studies at an athletic college). So many different types of cardio based on your needs. For example, running on the track is hard on knees and some joints after excessive training. Can easily find 3 other machines I like besides the treadmill and elliptical (personal reason). In all honesty, Princeton has all the bells and whistles of an elite gym can't deny that. However, before you sign 2 years of your life away you should consider a few things. 1. Will you really use this gym at least 1x a week for 24 months? $60 a month is a steep price to pay for a new year's resolution you've attempted to keep year after year. The culture of the gym is pretty sterile and cold, especially if you're not an athlete or weekend warrior (overweight people avoid at all costs). Cell phone reception is nonexistent for Verizon customers. 2.There have been multiple times I've gone and the sauna and/ steam rooms were closed. I became a member because of the amenities so that really ticked me off. 3. All the really cool classes cost extra. You're paying for basic access to the gym and basic boring classes. 4.They will take payments out of your account beyond the contract month signed. That's what they have done to my account so if you do sign on, pay full price upfront. 5. If you don't have a friend who has a membership, this is not the place for you. It's a meat market of a gym. The front staff are friendly and membership sales, but that's about it. If yo have a basic membership, they treat you basic. Trainers don't even acknowledge you. Bottom line, unless you live 5 minutes away, know existing members, are a gym buff, and pay full price upfront, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. The latest equipment and amenities doesn't make up for the soulless culture, and lack lust customer experience. This place isn't for everyone so don't the shininess fool you. read more

Where do I begin on this club's greatness? Literally THE BEST fitness facility I have ever belonged to, which made it all that much harder to leave when I moved out of state this week. But I wanted to be sure to tell all the Wisconsinites out there that this is the gym for you! I've been a member since 2006 and can't tell you enough positive things about it. Outstanding staff and service, the cleanliness can't be beat, terrific indoor track, basketball and tennis courts, an infinite amount of classes are offered throughout the week, an extraordinary aquatic center, as well as a brand new swimming pool (seasonal) outdoors. And with a schedule like mine, having access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is fantastically convenient. While there are times throughout the day that are busier than others, I've never experienced any problems with heavy crowds and/or being able to get on the machines when I want to. An extensive collection of the latest and most advanced equipment. Free child care offered as well, not to mention a Subway restaurant inside! Who could ask for anything more?? Really, the list goes on and on with all great things this club has to offer. To top it all off, I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to all the above. The Princeton Club has truly changed my life for the better, and it will definitely do the same for you. read more
