Found this spot on Yelp when I was in a pinch and was very happy with the services. Call was immediately answered and an email address was provided for my project request. I submitted, then called to follow up where we then discussed options that suited my needs- several files (hundreds of pages) I wanted to bind into one document in the most economical way. This was all completed before end of day as I had requested and reasonably-priced. In person, meeting the one in charge (a nice man, I believe he's Korean?) was great and I told him I'll definitely be back again for future requests. read more

I've been coming here for over 10 years. Previously called copyLA and now printoutDtla. I have a small business nearby and use this place regularly, at least once a week. I use them for everything small jobs such as printing posters and manuals to larger jobs such as signage and creating graphics. They are and have always been a "mom and pop" family owned and run, most recently taken over by Bree. She's really upgraded the place, offering more creative services. It's also super convenient being able to email projects and you can't beat the pricing. read more

These people are simply not professional. The woman helping me left for lunch in the middle of setting up A print project. I was told I had to wait an hour for her return by another seemingly employee who could not assist because he didn't know how to woke anything. Very confused. Definitely not coming back. read more

Good, quick service at very reasonable cost. They can make business cards with a quick turnaround and I'm sure their other services are equally excellent. I've walked there from 6th and Olive in downtown Los Angeles, and it was worth every block getting there. read more

I printed all the promotional material for a fundraiser at Copy LA and was very satisfied with their service and quality. The two persons that were there (I assume they are the owners) were always very kind and professional! They answered quick to all my emails and were willing to do last minute jobs. They have a big variety of papers and the quality of the printing was premium. Also, I quoted in different places un DTLA and this was by far the best option. So I was referred to this place by a fellow classmate and I have to say what first attracted me to this location was the low prices he was raving about. And indeed, less than $20 to have my own copy of a course reader that was valued at $100+? Of course I'll give it a shot! Turns out this place is a hole in the wall at the edges of DTLA, there is street parking nearby but it's a complete rip off! If you plan on waiting for your prints, I would recommend the $5 all day parking lot right next to the store because the downside of this Korean run copy shop is that it has slow service.. When I went there were only two workers and for the whole hour or so I was here, both were preoccupied with customers that had been here before me! But what I did notice was that plenty of customers tend to drop off their prints and return at a later time to pick them up. This seems to be the most cost and time efficient if you want to squeeze this in among other errands. This would also make this $1 per 15 min street parking worth it and useful. In the end I rated this spot 3 stars for my first experience because of the parking flop and because of the lack of time efficiency at this shop. The price is still attractive, I may come here again and hope for a better experience. read more

It's been years since I bothered writing a review for yelp. But since people clearly still use this site, I think Copy LA is worthy of a glowing review. I've used their services a couple times now, and I think I will be a life-long customer as long as they keep it up. Nothing but pros: Affordable Fast Friendly Accurate Awesome I run a small publishing company, and my mainstay are zines. They're cheaper than the big office boxes, the customer service is top notch. The folks that work there are very pleasant, I love them. You can get a full printed zine, folded and stapled for really cheap. They really are as good as they get. I'm super happy with them, and I can't give them a more glowing review. read more

It's Saturday morning and I have to attend a major event if not THE major event of my industry Monday morning--but I'm fresh out of business cards! So many printing places were closed or were not able to fulfill same day orders... Thank goodness for Sunny at Copy LA who picked up my call and so kindly explained their simple process. $35+tax for their minimum order of 250 business cards, and I got the 14 point glossy cardstock--no upcharge for same day fulfillment and no hassle. I go here pretty often to fax things to my work. At least once a month, sometimes more. Every time I go, they're so friendly and extremely helpful. They always seem really busy, but go out of their way for my small job, & barely charge me anything. I can't say enough good about them & their excellent customer service. I only wish I had larger jobs for them to do, & could use their services more often. I can tell they do quality work. read more

I cant believe I have been using FEDEX Kinko all of this time. I printed out one of the most important document packages ever and this spot COPY LA brought it home. I will never go anywhere else. The only thing I suggest is to not use MAC formatted disks as this store is PC friendly. However, you can email PDF versions and there are ways around this and to me it is not a deal breaker. The best copy place downtown. I like the fact that it is a mom and pop business. The service is incrediable fast. They actually called me to let me know my order was finished before the proposed time. Prices are negotiable with big quantities. I would give it 5 stars but sometimes there is a language barrier, somethings have to be explained 2-3 times. But if you are looking for fast, inexpensive, no frills service this is definately the spot. read more
