Stopped in to the Printshop Wednesday evening as we were passing by. I had the Lace Bandana Hefeweizen that was great!! I loved it! My Sweetie got the Karmic Rap Sheet Hazy IPA and loved it too. It wasn't too busy so we hung out at the bar and had a great chat wit the beertender, Meredith. She was great! Such a great personality and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed my visit primarily because the man behind the bar was one of the best bartenders I have met in quite some time. The beers are very good especially the darker ones. I was able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the river. It was a popular spot for sure. There is plenty of easy parking and the building is easily accessable. I wish we had a place like this in Oak Ridge. Its a good neighbourhood pub really. read more

We hosted our company event at Printshop Beer Co., and it was absolutely perfect! The team went above and beyond, opening early for our group, helping with setup, and keeping everything running smoothly from start to finish. They were so accommodating and even allowed us to order and bring in pizza from South Coast Pizza (which was amazing!). The pricing was incredibly reasonable, and their flexibility made planning the event so easy. The view of the water is beautiful, there's plenty of parking, and the space has such a great atmosphere. Plus, they have a wonderful selection of beer and non-alcoholic drinks, so everyone in our group was happy. We're so grateful for their hospitality and can't recommend Printshop Beer Co. enough, whether you're planning an event or just want to enjoy a great drink with a great view! read more

The ONLY reason there are 2 stars is because Hop Pusher is tasty. I was rejected service 3 years ago because I wasn't wearing a mask in the early covid days. It was a rather rude experience and I haven't returned for over 3 years regardless of what tasty beers may be available. I called today to double-check the closing time and was directed to go look at their Instagram page. No one could answer the phone?!? Can't list the hours in the message?!? How does a business so uncustomer-focused stay in business I'll never know. It'll be at least another 3 years before I ever consider/recommend a Printshop beer. There are many excellent breweries to select from in Knoxville, Printshop isn't one of them. read more

My husband and I were visiting from Colorado and Printshop Brewery was recommended to us by a local. I had a pecan pie stout that was incredible! The beertender was super friendly and helpful and their taproom is spacious. I like the industrial feel at a brewery and Printshop classes it up a bit by decorating with local art (which, bonus, was refreshingly reasonably priced!). Great little brewery near the river. Was on the way into downtown to head for pizza, and recalled that we had some breweries on the list of places to go. Decided to drop into Printshop (they were highly recommended by the staff at Abridged). I ordered the cream ale, which was delicious, and my wife (the dark beer lover) ordered their Wailing Winter Winds, which is a blonde stout. The color through me, but man oh man that flavor! What a unique and interesting beer that was. Me not being much of a stout/porter guy, I stuck with my cream ale which was excellent. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. Highly recommended place for beer. read more

I would say this is the most underrated brewery in Knoxville. By that I mean the place is never packed no matter what day of the week I've been (which I actually like), but they have some of the most delicious beer in Knoxville. The place is pretty big. The staff is friendly and always super knowledgeable about beer in general. Full disclosure I'm an IPA guy so I always love the fact they have plenty of IPAs to choose from. PS - I've also been to yoga there on the weekends before, and it was awesome (it was $10 for yoga + beer). read more

This is a really fun brewery! I stopped by one evening and tried a pineapple cider that was delicious. Saw in the corner that there was Nintendo games and enjoyed drinking and playing some Mario cart! The atmosphere is cool and it's next to a really neat mural. It's right by the river and gorgeous! This place is also neat because of the photography that's posted all around. They are always coming up with new brews so I need to buy a growler to take some home! read more

A must try in the Knoxville area. The location in South Knoxville is excellent, generally have a food truck, very accessible for a wheelchair, and the beer is excellent. They occasionally have a barrel aged beer, it it's on tap you have to have a pour. read more

It's been a while since my husband and I went for a beer at Printshop. We have always loved the beer and atmosphere. Unfortunately today we were unimpressed. We walked in checking out the beer list with names such as Hop Pusher, Hand Crank, Tears of Rage.....very cool names but nothing to describe the actual beer. I asked the young blonde behind the bar if they had a list with a little more detail, but nope yet she told me to look on the Untappd app. I then asked for a sample and she said due to Covid, no samples. What I find interesting about this is we had visited another local brewery the night before and they had disposable plastic cups they offered me a sample without even asking. I ended up with a beer my husband ordered and it was very good. I would have to say 5 stars for beer but 2 or honestly 1 for customer experience. read more

Stopped in one afternoon to check out the new brewery in town. Have to admit I was a little disappointed on the initial visit, though it does have potential. The menu had several selections, and though I only tried a couple of beers they were decent, middle-of-the-road. The building is old and needs a bit more work to the interior space to feel like somewhere you want to hang out. It has the backless, metal bar seats common in every brewery these days, and even with large windows in the front of the building on a sunny afternoon, the inside feels a bit dark and drab, not particularly comfortable or inviting. Again, there's potential here and assuming it's still a work in progress, I'll give it a few more months and try again. read more

Printshop is a very casual/chill spot that offers a wide variety of beer for veteran craft beer drinkers all the way down to newbie enthusiasts. You're not going to be judged by your lack of knowledge, or by what you're wearing or what you drove/rode in on. This joint isn't cliquey like other breweries in the immediate area, and brews fantastic beer. With the recent addition of the outdoor patio, they have everything in place to be THE spot you need to start frequenting in South Knoxville. I can honestly say, I've never had a bad brew in this joint. The hardest part will be deciding what you want to drink with whatever food truck is serving food outside. Bottom line- if you haven't been to Printshop.. Check them out! read more

The location is a hidden gem of South Knoxville; I cannot say enough good things about this product but then I met one of the owners I think his name was Jim or John and he was so off-putting. His pretentious attitude about the non beer related questions assured me that if this place fails (God forbid, I do love this place), he is the reason. He could have cared less if anyone was at 'his' bar. If I come in again and see him behind the bar I'm turning around and leaving. Again, 5 star beer, 5 star location. read more

A couple of us from Jack and Co branched out to try this new liquid salad bar. The hops were bold and beautiful when they needed to be, yet calm and cool when they needed to dial them back. Enjoyed a refreshing brew of a blonde sweet beer. The bartender Charles was not only extremely attractive, but he was attentive to my needs, and the needs of the fellow customers. If you're on a liquid diet, this place is a must! You'll get the best liquid salad bar and the best service NA. ps.
