We had previously received a quote from Safelite and Global's price was almost half! They literally came the morning after Christmas exactly at the time given and were super professional. To complete the work they had a technician that came to install the windshield and another who came to complete the calibration. The technician that completed the calibration took the time to go through the history of codes in the vehicles system and then sent me a copy of the successful calibration for my records. I can't imagine this could have been any more perfect!

However, immediately after starting my car following the replacement, I received an "Auto Headlights Inoperative" warning -- the same issue another reviewer previously mentioned. I contacted Lazaro regarding the problem, and I was told it was likely just a coincidence, despite never having experienced this issue before the service. He said the the windshield had nothing to do with lights but on certain vehicles its in the rear view mirror called an LRSM(Light Rain Sensor Module) I believe that's something they should be aware of. A technician was sent back out, but the explanation I received was simply that "something must be wrong" and that it "should be a simple fix," without any real resolution or accountability. At that point, I decided to handle the issue myself and pay out of pocket, as I felt my concerns were no longer being taken seriously and the focus was more on closing the job than resolving the problem. I also sensed they couldn't fix it if they wanted to, they probably didn't know how so I wasn't going to waste my time with them anymore. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If certain vehicles or sensor systems require specialized handling during windshield replacement, technicians should either be properly trained or transparent about any limitations beforehand.

This time when in need, they stepped up and was there for me. Online quote was easy and simple. Be sure to have your cars VIN # for the quote to be as accurate as possible. I shopped around with other glass vendors and not one best Safelite's quote. Appointment was easy to make after the quote and the service tech was communicative and very professional. I chose the mobile service and the glass replacement was done right in my driveway. The technician was on time, friendly, professional, organized and clean. He completed both appointments on my 2 cars in a timely manner. Super organized and cleaned up nicely and provided quality parts and service. Great price compared to other quotes and coupons available but you just have to find them. Only fee you'll see that was questionable was the glass recycling fee of $39.99 which is bogus in my opinion. I called to try to get it waived but they offered a discount so definitely worth a try to call for a better price reduction.

AND after all, when I'm there, they say that if I don't do the calibration there, they just don't care because they make you sign a waiver before the do some work in your car. If you're looking for windshield replacement I recommend you finding a company that is near you in case "calibration" cannot be completed.
