The towing service was scheduled Jan 31, 2026 @ 8:00am with an estimated arrival time of 9:40am. I called the towing company at 9:50am to get an updated ETA, just for the dispatch lady to say they were short handed but the tow truck would be there in an hour to an hour and a half. After the new updated time passed, I called the dispatch company in which she put me on hold and after being on hold for several minutes the phone disconnected. Mind you, I called back several times and the same thing happened. I called my insurance company who called Priority Towing and she was put on hold and hung up after being on hold for several minutes. Had to call another tow company. Horrible service and horrible company! If I could rate them a zero I would! I'm glad I was getting my car towed from my house, imagine if I was sitting on the side of the road! read more

I regret not asking beforehand my truck driver's name since he was courteous, respectful, and treated my vehicle like it was his own. He was very pleasant to deal with and was able to answer all my questions. The night before my tow, I suffered an irreparable tire blowout on the highway. Fortunately, I didn't lose control of my vehicle in the incident and neither myself nor anyone else was hurt. However, when this happened it was days before the long New Years weekend. I drive a vehicle with lowered suspension and it's necessary to get a dolly tow as my vehicle cannot go up a flatbed. It was HOURS before I learned that there were no tow trucks with dollies in-service that night, so I was resigned to leaving my vehicle where it was until the next morning before an appropriate tow vehicle could get my car. My car insurance provider arranged for Priority Towing to pickup my car and the driver came on-time as scheduled with the necessary equipment in order to get my car where it needed to go. The drive from Howard County to Montgomery County went without incident. Considering how the night before went, it was a tremendous relief to get my car (closer to) home. The next time I need a tow in the Howard County, I will not hesitate to give Priority Towing and Recovery a call. read more

These guys are AWESOME!!! My engine overheated and my car stopped running while going from NYC to MD on a Sunday at 8am. I called my insurance company and they could not find anyone that was willing to tow me from where my car stopped running, on the DE Turnpike to MD. Finally they found Priority Towing and Recovery. They gave my insurance co an ETA of 11:15am because the driver they were sending was out on another tow.. And sure enough they arrived exactly at the time stated. I know it was a wait but early Sunday morning from DE to MD? I couldn't be happier that someone was willing to get me and my car to MD! The driver Kyle was great!! Engaging and conversational without being too talkative and a pleasure to swap stories with. I actually found myself enjoying our conversations. He almost seemed like an old friend. And for a guy his age, I found his music selection from the 80s very satisfying. This company and the people they employ, well at least Kyle, is a good look for the towing and recovery business. Driver James called me when he was 25 minutes away as I'd been promised and asked if I wanted to try the battery again...sure, why not. It worked! He gave me information in a non-condescending way and was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I'm not sure how this place gets such great feedback, but this place was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! I initially spoke to Liz in dispatch at 0930 and told her what was going on. I had a flat tire, and asked her the following: If I bought a tire, could they could help me change it? She said, "absolutely, just call us when you get the tire so we can dispatch the truck to be there by the time you get home." When I called her back several hours later, she asked me if I had the tire or the rim. Now mind you, I don't know anything about cars, and thought the tire could just be changed - and according to the morning call, it could. You would think that this would be something that would be known by the DISPATCHER at a TOW-TRUCK COMPANY. Now instead of having my car fixed at my house, I'm being told (4 hours later), that my car needs to be serviced because they can't change it without bringing it to a repair shop. I was then told that they only had 1 driver and the driver was on a call, so I wouldn't get assistance until the other driver came in at 3. I was PROMISED both on the phone and via a text from her that I would be the first call when the driver came in. Around 5 minutes before 3, I texted to confirm, and she said the driver "had just got to the lot and should be rolling out shortly." So imagine my shock when I called 45 minutes later to get an updated ETA (I never got a confirmation text that the truck was dispatched), and was told that the guy was on another call and would be another hour or more until he would be able to get to my house. By this time, the repair shops are all closed. So, had Liz: 1. Known what she was talking about; 2. Communicated the truth with me; and 3. Communicated with the person that came on shift after her, I would've had my car fixed and not be writing this review. But incompetent lying can't be overlooked. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Or maybe just talk to someone else that has half a brain. read more

I wish I could give ZERO. I came to pick up my friend who's suv broke down at 6:08pm on a Saturday. He got a text confirm for 7:32pm. I got there around 7:20. He called at 7:42pm to check status. They said the driver was running behind because of a previous request. So new time was 7:57pm. At 8:15pm he called again. Now the driver was getting gas for his truck and would there in 15 minutes. At 8:40 he calls a 3rd time and they say he is Rt 32 (where we were waiting). We gave up at 9:00pm. Three hours to wait for a tow on a clear Saturday evening with no known natural disasters is an indicator of a POORLY RUN BUSINESS. My rear tire blew out while driving on Route 32 West. I notified GEICO via their Emergency Service app, of the incident. Within twenty minutes Priority Towing and Recovery appeared to change my flat tire. The driver noticed my space tire was flat, and immediately placed air into it. The driver replaced the blown tire with the space tire. Please note this was performed while I parked on the left side of the highway, and cars speeding by. I blew two tires out on 70W. It was a very scary time for me and I was pretty upset. I called and spoke with Myah. She was wonderful. She was very calming, professional and thorough. She set expectations for me on what would happen. Our call was disconnected during our conversation and she immediately called me right back. Great customer service!! Marty came to get me on 70. When he stepped out of the truck, I immediately felt better. He assured me he would take care of me. He told me to get all of my things and go set in the warm cab of his truck where I would be safe and he would take care of everything. Wow. What a breath of fresh air!! Marty and I had a lovely conversation on the way to the service center. Marty sincerely talked about how concerned he is for everyone's safety in situations like this. My insurance company contacted Priority Towing for roadside assistance after my car got a flat tire on Rt. 100 on my way to work. I was told the response time would be between 60 to 90 mins. However it was almost 3 hours later when the towing company bothered to show up. My car was nearly towed by the county police for being left on the side of a major highway for 3 hours! Then to top things off they argued with me when I filed a complaint at they actually responded in 90 mins! I have proof from the County Police towing documents that were placed on my car at 11:48 when I called at 9am for help. Worse towing company I have ever dealt with in my life. It's a long story but I promise you I was not rude in any way. He had a young trainee with him. My car has been charged a few times this year after months of trying to get an electical problem fixed. Thank you Neubaurer's Ellicott City. Basically, he told me this was a A B conversation and when it became a C he would let me know. Great service today from Priority towing. The technician Tyler arrived within the estimated timeframe, he treated the car with care and was polite and professional toward me. Though I was able to stay with my car as I waited, Tyler said he would have picked me up at a separate location if needed, a service that not every towing company provides. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't allow ZERO ratings, because that is exactly what I would have given 'Priority' Towing. After requesting roadside assistance from Geico, Priority Towing was the local provider they chose to assist me. I had to wait 2 hours and 40 minutes for their driver to arrive (after being told that they would be there in 60 minutes). After he arrived he told me that he 'didn't have the tools to change a tire' and blamed it on the dispatcher. Looking back, they were probably just trying to get me to get my vehicle towed so they could charge it to Geico (as it is a higher rate for a tow than it is for a tire change). The driver claimed that he took so long because he was coming from West Virginia all the way to my location in Maryland (which makes absolutely no sense). In the end I had to get Geico to get another provider to service me, who ended up coming within 35 minutes. I would NEVER use this company, they are unprofessional, terrible at honest communication (the dispatcher told me the driver was around the corner or 20 minutes away multiple times- which was a lie).
