My sister went because she had hurt herself at work and was in a lot of pain she went to get a drs note so she can take to work my sister explained to the dr what had happened he seemed to be understanding but when he went out the room he was out there talking bad about my sister being lazy and not wanting to go to work! Very unprofessional!! If she does or doesn't it should be his concern he claimed my sister didn't have any kind of sprains and everything was good for her to go back the following day my sister then went to another urgent care and what do you know she had a sprain ankle! I've come here multiple times for multiple reasons. During my most recent visit, I saw Dr. Mala Orabi. I had seen her once before when bringing my toddler in. I arrived at 6:30pm and was in front of Dr. Orabi by 6:40. Literally no wait. I was the only patient. This urgent care is new so not many people know about it. I almost didn't want to write a review as it's nice to be able to walk into an urgent care and be seen right away. When I came midday with my daughter, it was the same. Dr. Orabi is what prompted to to give this place a review. She is/was very thorough in examining me. She listened and took her time. I'm very happy with the care I received. I'm sure a lot of it was because I was the only patient there at the time but whatever the reason, I'll take it. The facility is clean. The nurses are nice. It was an overall great experience considering the circumstances. Dr. Alvarez and the PA that works there aren't to shabby either. So if you're looking for an urgent care that's clean, has no wait time, and the medical staff is A+, give Proximity a go. Sounds to good to be true right! It's true. I went in for work physical. Receptionist told I had to pay before I could see the the doctor so I said it's fine, how much is it? So I paid the amount required to see the doctor. Dr was nice and very friendly. Every one were friendly. The problem is weeks later I get charged for something I don't know for what. I did not get no additional treatment beside the work physical. No labs or what's so ever. Now they're telling me the doctor seen me for over 30 minutes. He was in the room no more then 10 minutes. I should have just gone to my primary physician who charges half what they are charging me. THIS PLACE WILL TAKES ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. read more

We went to get a Covid test for travel to Hawaii back in February and they made us pay out of pocket $250 per test. We submitted for reimbursement through our insurance and the insurance paid them back in April. We still have not received reimbursement from Priority Urgent Care and it's now September. Called them today and now they are saying it will be 30-60 more days because Covid is keeping their manager busy. Bad customer service. We will never go to Priority Urgent Care again! It's a rip off. This was the worst medical care I have ever experienced.Brought my fiancee in because she was having pain in her abdomen.She started to experience so much pain she could hardly fill out the paperwork no one cared or helped and no one even showed any concern then she collapsed in the lobby onto the floor shaking and we had to scream at them to even get them to call 911.The receptionist and other workers showed no concern whatsoever ! The receptionist never even got out of her chair !No human empathy at this place.Never again ! After they took my fiancee out on the stretcher the receptionist asked me if I was going to pick up emesis bag they had given her. Sad human beings here. read more

What is the point of scheduling and appointment if the appointment is not kept or even close to appointment time? I was told to show up 10 minutes early and so I did and now it has been over an hour. My son went for Covid testing. After waiting for more than an hour and a person that came in after him got tested before him, he got swabbed. No Covid information was given except that "they" would call him in 3-4 days with results. Eight days later he got a voicemail telling him to make a virtual appointment with a provider to get the results. This would be another charge to him. When the General Manager was called regarding this she told me that he would have been informed at testing time that to get his results it would take a virtual appointment. Making minimum wage this is not realistic, if the result is no the advice would be the same as the CDC recommendations, if yes they would give the same CDC advice and tell him to contact his primary physician. They will not give results over the phone even with a HIPPA code set up. I would be skeptical to get any treatment there as they definitely concentrate on their profit margin not the patient and community well being. read more

I had an appointment for 9:45am, and I made sure I was standing in the office @ 9:45am. The lady checked me in and told me to wait in my car. It is now 10:15am and she told me their are 2 people ahead of me still. What is the point of making an appointment if the facility can't fulfill the appointment??? I made an appointment early so this wouldn't be an issue, but obviously they're not fit to accept appointments this early in the morning. The customer service is great, but the efficiency needs improvement! Idk who's managing but they need to be trained again. read more

This was my first time visiting this location of Proximity MD. I was very impressed with how clean the building was & the professionalism of the staff. I went to Proximity Urgent Care for a stomachache I had for a couple of days and loss of appetite. I had a very short wait to be seen which was nice because I felt horrible. I was treated by a PA named Daniel who inspired confidence as soon as you met him. He was also compassionate and knowledgeable. I was given medicine in the office that decreased discomfort and started me on a path to healing. I was then sent out for additional test. When I came in the next day for a follow up I saw Daniel again which I was happy about and he was very excited about how good I looked compared to the first visit. I was given more antibiotics and this morning I'm at 80% better. Hopefully I don't need urgent care very often but that's where I will go what I do need it read more

Priority Urgent Care is one of the most unprofessional urgent cares we have been to. We went it for sore throat there was only a few people in the waiting room and it took forever, only to see workers leave to get Starbucks and food. Once we got called back on our way to the room over heard workers cussing to one another not working on anything. Once the doctor came into the room he did a two min check up to confirm that she was sick which was way to quick. We left to get our medicine to find out that the pharmacy was closed so we called to change locations and they had told us they would get to it when they had time, mean while when we were there they weren't doing anything but sipping on there Starbucks. Waited longer again to find out they still hadn't called in the prescription. They had told us again they would get to it when they get to it, she was rude on the phone to us and wouldn't give us a time frame so we would have to wait around all day for it. Then she rudely hung up on us. Very unprofessional. God bless read more

This place used be wonderful when it was Proximity Urgent Care. It has now been bought out by another medical group and they are not as knowledgeable. I took my son in a few weeks ago and the assisting PA was unable to diagnose him with croup. We mentioned to the PA that our son had a barking cough, difficulty breathing and lethargic. PA just said he some inflammation in the throat. He recommended to let my son run and cry so he could cough up phlegm. This is opposite treatment for Croup. read more

2 stars ONLY because they had day of appointments available. However, the drs assistant was very rude, accusing us that we called her a liar? When she misinformed my partner about these tests. We specifically went for a certain test and they called to confirm what we wanted. Only to go inside, see a Dr, get billed, and the test isn't available. Why not say that in the first place? Should of went elsewhere. Money is tight, and having no insurance is rough. EITHER WAY very very poor communication skills from the Drs helpers and whomever is in charge of calling patients back. I had a 2 hour waiting time. They allowed someone who was having trouble breathing and was coughing to wait in the waiting room! Plus they never contacted me to give me my COVID test results. I needed the results to have surgery that can't wait. Now I may have limited use of my hand! I won't go back there. I wish I could have given them negative stars. My elderly mother has been seen at Priority Urgent Care several times, and the latest was when she had a severe cut on her leg that nicked an artery. Since she had positive experiences in the past with this place, we decided to go there instead of the ER. As many people know, the ER can be a long wait if they are busy, plus you get exposed to germs from those who come in with colds and the flu. I bandaged up Mom as best as I could and took her to Priority. As she walked in the door, the manager (Mazda) noticed the dripping blood and brought her immediately to a treatment room where the medical assistant started working immediately without hesitation. They were focused on taking care of her and not with paperwork. The medical assistant immediately set up the supplies that the PA would need for stitches. He came in and gave her a total of 15 stitches. We got there about 20 minutes before they closed, but were not rushed out of there. All the staff was friendly and helpful. When my mom returned for the follow-up visits, they immediately recognized her and remembered her injury. The injury had become infected (I do not fault the urgent care or their treatment) and they developed a plan of attack that required her to come back two more times for an antibiotic shot. Each visit was a positive one. Another thing that I want to mention is the cleanliness of the facility. When we used Memorial Urgent Care, their facility looked well worn, the walls were all scuffed and dirty, and the floors were also dirty and had debris on them. Priority has a very clean and well-maintained facility. I was also very pleased with the care that the NP Tom gave my mother, and Elizabeth as the medical assistant has been wonderful as well. My family and I will be using Priority Urgent Care whenever we need non-critical medical care that does not warrant an ER visit. We've used them many times and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and coworkers read more

It has been a rough start for me in 2017, unfortunately I have been here twice already. If you go into this place early it will be cold this time of year. There is plenty of parking outside in the almost empty strip mall. The waiting room is big and clean, there are two TVs there to watch. The wait was reasonable both times. Both times I was here I saw a youngish lady M D with glasses. She was thorough, ran a bunch of blood tests, and even called for a CT Scan. They took XRays here at this facility. Everyone was very caring and concerned. The building seems very new. Not sure how long they have been opened, but everything is nice and clean. UPDATE- The treatment and suggestions of this young lady doctor who I have spent thirty minutes (maybe) has helped me to get well. And for that I have added another star in February. My doctor I have had for years was not effective. The people here are thorough. read more

Awful experience. I'm 6 months pregnant and had a severe ear infection. I had to tell the dr which medications were safe during pregnancy. He tried to prescribe me ibuprofen and Sudafed which I know are not recommended during the last months of pregnancy. When I asked about the safety of the antibiotics for the baby, he said it didn't matter I had to take them without showing the slightest concern. It took over 5 hours to fill a prescription because the drs office was unable to properly send it. When I asked if they could call the prescription in, the receptionist told me they would get to it sometime. Then she lied by telling me they had called it in when really they had called the nurse to tell them they would resend it. She said she knew this to be a problem and when I suggested they tell patients there may be problems getting prescription she backtracked and said it was not common. This place has no concern for their patients and I would not recommend it at all. read more

My husband and I were pretty skeptical to go to this urgent care since it was on the east side, but being newer it surprised us by being extremely clean!! We went at 6:30ish and were the only patients there. We were seen quickly and accommodated by friendly and professional staff. I saw 3 doctors here for my son and myself, and none of them gave us the correct diagnosis or treatment. The first doctor checked my son's ears and throat, and he said my son had no infection. They gave us a COVID test, and sent us home. The COVID test was negative. We got worse. The next day I went back saying the cough was worse, very painful, and made us throw up. The second doctor said my son had an ear infection and the flu, without testing us for influenza. My son was given antibiotics. That night I made a third appointment because I was getting worse. I was prescribed the flu medicine without being tested. We still got worse. I finally decided to just go to the ER. We actually had bronchitis, upper respiratory infections, and we needed inhalers. We started getting better the day after the ER. The ER said urgent cares often do this type of mistakes. The ER said we didn't even show signs of the flu because we had energy and sense of humors. The ER tested us for influenza and it was negative. Never will I go back to the urgent care. Waste of time and made us get worse. read more

Couple issues with my visit this time. I understand the COVID issue so I expected to not be on time. I made an appointment for 3 PM and got in at 7 PM so just expect that when you go the next time during the pandemic. My main issue is that I recently got a bill from them and they didn't run my insurance. I called billing and they said because I had self payed before (because one of the office ladies said don't even run her insurance because her physical is for school on my last visit); which in hindsight they should disclose that on their website. Also I got a call on Sunday around 9 AM about wanting to speak with me (my results). I called an hour later and could not get ahold of anyone. I don't know why I was called on a Sunday when no one was open, but I left a voice message. Then I waited to be called on Monday and no one did. So I called on Tuesday and got my results. I won't be going back to this one again, which is a bummer because about a year before I didn't seem to have any issues and actually wrote a 5 star review. read more
