I thought this place would be a bit better from what I saw on travel reviews. The kids did like the "eye" spy theme. HORRIBLE. My family and I went here for breakfast this morning, well attempted to. We didn't last 30 minutes, we waited maybe 5 minutes to be seated which was perfectly fine we understood that they needed to clear a table. We get seated and we're looking at the menus we think we know what we might want but then we realize that we haven't been approached by our waitress and we're kinda getting annoyed, we haven't been introduced or asked about drinks or anything. it's now been 15 minutes and still nothing. We get the attention of the hostess and we just ask like where our waitress was and that we haven't been approached. This lady gets super defensive and says "yeah I know, we just sat 5 tables what do you want me to do. she'll be over when she can" we decide in that moment we were leaving. We get up and this lady is still trying to fight with us and was saying things like "she'll be over" "we just sat all these people" and then finished with "whatever leave I don't care". if you are looking for good service DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

My family and in laws were in North Conway for a vacation this week. We left to go home today and stopped here for breakfast. So glad we did. It was amazing. The place itself is really cute with lots of little things to look at throughout the restaurant. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. I had the eggs Benedict that came with home fries. Now, usually I do not like the big chunky home fries but these were amazing. Perfectly seasoned and nicely crispy. I also ordered a side of corned beef hash that I liked as well. My husband had the "syrup sampler" which had a pancake (pretty big), waffle, and French toast. He said it was all very good too. We ordered some coonja which, as we were told, are Armenian yeast rolls. They were so good that I ordered some to go! I'm a bit sad we didn't go here earlier in the week so we could have gone a few times. In any case, we will be going back here if we are back up in this area again. We love this local gem! We stop here every time we're in area. We just went this past weekend with our young daughter and it was wonderful as always. There was a 15 minute wait and the owner told me she would come get us at our car when our table was ready because our daughter was sleeping and she didn't want us to wake her until we had to. Extremely overpriced for low quality food. Our breakfast cost the same as our dinner at a steakhouse the night before! $60 for breakfast on 2 adults and a 2.5 year old is a little absurd. I ordered French toast that was only cooked on one side. Home fries weren't thoroughly cooked. We didn't complain as my son was starting to get antsy and wanted to leave. We weren't expecting to get money back because we saw the prices on the menu before we ordered. We were just expecting better food for that cost. My family and I had a wonderful experience. Friendly staff and FABULOUS food. I had the savory Crepe special. Asparagus, Swiss, ham and topped with a delicious hollandaise sauce. My husband's "Jumbo Combo" made him very happy. The French toast with it was one of the best ones I have ever tasted. The service was excellent and I appreciated how our server and, who I believe was Priscilla, interacted with my daughters. A North Conway gem. Perfect oatmeal. And hubby truly enjoyed the country scramble. Service was wonderful from the moment we opened the door. Loved the sign that asks for cell phones to be silenced and children to remain seated. Quaint and friendly. Be careful cuz you might miss it. Priscilla's put as much effort into decorating as they do their food. Our family of four had a great brunch here. The place had so many interesting but tasteful pieces of decor. The hostess was extremely welcoming and funny...in a good way, as were the wait staff. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating. They allowed our kids to share a meal and even split it between their two plates at the table. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because the tacos with my Huevos Rancheros broke up when I tried to wrap them, leading me to believe they may have been a little stale. Despite that, our experience was great. The rest of the food and the staff far than made up for that. Highly recommend the place. Great food and great people! read more

My friends and I went to Priscilla's for breakfast on a Sunday. We barely had our feet in the door and we were welcomed so kindly! The place is a great breakfast joint, I had a Big Combo, (2 eggs, toast, decent sized fruit-cup, and 3 sausage links) and a glass of tomato juice. My total was $12 including tip. Very pleasing. My companion got a combo with french toast; I got a scramble with ham and cheese, and I requested they add asparagus since it was an option for omelets. It was all very tasty, as was the coffee. Service was excellent. From the descriptions of the place as small and cozy -- and from the general way restaurants go in North Conway -- we expected the space to be crowded, but it was actually more spacious and airy, with more separation between tables than most places we went! Visited here twice on the family trip to North Conway. The first morning we were in North Conway we tried out Peach's (right across the street from Priscilla's) and decided to try out Priscilla's the second morning in Conway. I personally enjoyed it more than Peach's because even though the service wasn't as fast as Peach's, the food tasted better and felt more homey. I ordered the Jumbo combo the first morning and waffles the next morning. The whole family enjoyed our two breakfasts there although the second time we went we waited over 30 minutes for our food (five people) with a 3/4 full restaurant. The owner/hostess was very friendly and took time to chat with us near the end of our meal. She was also handing out advice to other patrons about the best places to go in North Conway. We had the same waitress for both mornings and she remembered that I wanted milk with my coffee rather than the normal half and half that was on the table and brought it with my coffee when she served us. The owner's grandson (12 years old?) helps out in the mornings, coming around to tables and offering jam to those that ordered a meal with toast. I thought he was quite cute and it gave Priscilla's, again, a more homey feel than most other establishments. Although the restaurant is quite small (~12 tables), the first morning we waited 20 minutes to be seated and the next, was seated right away but know ahead that it will get busy during the rush hour of breakfast so expect to wait. I would gladly go back the next time we're in the North Conway area. read more

No no no never again! For one I brought my 3 year old and all the tables are glass he kept cutting himself on the corner of the tables. They are extremely slow in service. The prices are way to high. My son got a small chocolate milk that cost 3.50. Like it's really small. Trying to get more coffee in this place was crazy. The cook can't even make eggs over easy to save his life. Went to restaurant with recommendations from my boss to come here for breakfast. Being in food service myself I brought my family here only took short time to be seated when I said 5 people the hostess (maybe the boss unknown to us which) went into a frenzy and became rude to party that only was telling how many in their party she snapped at them she was busy seating us so wait she'll get to them!!! After being seated no one came to the table to ask drinks or I'll be with you in a minute NOTHING for a good 15 minutes our waitress proceeds to go to the people behind us in line and starts waiting on them so I asked hostess if we had a waitress she immediately became rude and defensive that she just sat 5 parties the waitress will be right with us after she waits on the other parties I noticed she had done!!! Being a waitress I know the drill this waitress had no intention of waiting on party of 5 when she had small parties that would be easier for her ..... the waitress never even looked at us but we were expected to sit there while she waited on the rest of parties first the hostess yelled at us that she would be right there and we said no we're leaving she then said well leave I don't care!!!! My boss would have fired me for treating the customers that way if your going own a restaurant get some people that have people skills if you don't you your restaurant is doomed your help can make or break you!!!! My wife and I finally got to stop by Pricilla's. It was raining cats and dogs this day. I drop my wife of at the door and went to park the car. When I arrived I was greeted at the door with a warm sense of humor. The menu has both breakfast and lunch. I was able to order the strange combination of soup of the day and rasin bread french toast. The soup was a harty bowl of beef stew. With lots of beef and taste great. The rasin bread french toast came with eight halves and was delicious. I was able to grab a bite of my wife's burger and it was mouth watering. We've been here a few times and have had fine breakfasts. Today, however, when our breakfasts were served, our waitress stepped away to chat up some guests who were leaving (regulars, I'm guessing). Our eggs, hash & eggs for me and eggs benedict for my husband, in spite of having been ordered medium, were definitely not; the whites were super loose. We called another waitress over (who we know outside of the restaurant) and said we'd ordered medium and jiggled the plates so she could see them (I'd broken open one of the hash & egg eggs to discover loads of loose whites ... ) She said, OK, let me get this squared away for you, hang onto those breakfasts. In a few minutes our server came by, after having been informed that our eggs were definitely not medium, to say that the kitchen had almost finished with our replacements. Moments later, she came back with one dish, containing two perfectly poached medium eggs. We had a total of 4 uncooked eggs, and she brought back one dish with 2 eggs. She asked if we wanted to keep the English muffins under the eggs benny (what were we to do with the raw eggs on top of the English??). She took the plate away and tossed the two eggs and returned our cold, soggy English muffins with now-cold ham & hollandaise and seemed genuinely surprised by the confusion on my face... THIS is how they fixed the problem? She did bring us a new little dish of warm hollandaise. If I'd neglected to order all of the eggs medium, maybe this is how they fix it ... (still, 2 medium eggs shy for two breakfasts, but at least that would be a start). In any case, when she brought the bill, with both breakfasts on it, perfectly pleasantly, she said that there was a 10% discount ($2.84) off our bill for the eggs. Really?? We ate a late breakfast at Priscilla's on a weekend trip to North Conway. There was only a short wait and then we were seated in a nice quiet booth. They pride themselves on their good food, not fast food, and it did take a while but the surroundings were pleasant. My husband ordered the Big Breakfast and I ordered the Basic Breakfast (a slightly smaller version of the big breakfast). They were OK. We have both had better, especially for that price, I think $8.95 for the big and $7.95 for the basic. Imagine our surprise when we got the bill and the price of the Basic was more than the Big! We brought this to the attention of our server who said she would check. I had to leave with our son who was done with being in a restaurant and my husband dealt with the restaurant. They claimed that there was an extra charge for the Raisin French Toast that I had ordered as part of the basic. This was not indicated on the menu. My husband ended up paying as the restaurant was busy and my son and I had already left the restaurant. He told them that by law, they could not charge more than what was indicated on the menu, that they need to fix their menu, and that we would not be back. read more

We went here for breakfast during leaf peeping time. There was a wait to get a table but things did move pretty fast. The menu was full of breakfast treats along with some of their signature dishes. Staff was very pleasant, freindly and knowlegable. The dishes were hearty and delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was very clean and quaintly decorated. Toast was stale. So hard my daughter couldn't eat it. I had eggs Benedict. Eggs were cooked hard. Very disappointed in our meals. The OJ was excellent and they did brew fresh coffee for us. Maybe the cook was having a bad day but there is no excuse sending out old bread. read more
