Did a great job replacing our air conditioner! Good price and service, and they came right away.

Lots of negative reviews, mostly mentioning sales and Allison in particular. My experience was very different. Knew what I wanted (Bosch 300 series dishwasher) was calling around to find someone who had one and got lucky. Allison was very helpful on the phone, sold it to me on the spot. Did try to sell a warranty, but took no for an answer pretty quickly. Painless. Price for delivery and installation was not egregious. On the day of installation, the unit didn't fit in my kitchen due to an issue I had been unaware of previously. Install tech was great, explained everything, called the store to coordinate a replacement with a different, also great model. There was no charge for the switch. They easily could have pointed out this was my fault for ordering a unit that didn't fit and charged me a restocking fee, repeat delivery fee, or whatever. But they didn't; they just made the switch and delivered the unit same-day. Fantastic service. I would buy again. read more

Absolutely the worst when it comes to scheduling and then keeping to a schedule. Bad enough they still do 3 hour windows but when you miss the window by 2.5 hours??? Total lack of respect for the customers time. BOSCH refrigerators are trash!! My like new Bosch refrigerator has a faulty compressor that went bad after the warranty expired.

Ordered a Bosch refrigerator and the inside shelves were broke. Not a problem besides the salesperson not following up the replacement was ordered in March we bought early Feb. I just found out they are ordering again but you should pay 8K for appliance for what. I would never recommend doing business. The only good thing there is the service person she is great when you talk to her. Everyone else is a used car salesman. I have never especially done sales trash a business, but they are horrible at it. please don't use Allison. Imagine spending 8K and never receiving a call to see how it went??? Went to Prisco thinking I was going to support local and boy was I wrong. I was the only person in the store at the time of entering and was never even acknowledged until I got to the desk. Once there the "salesman" tried make the entire purchase while being seated behind the desk and simply pointing at things. He wasn't actually hearing what my needs were for a dryer so I became so frustrated that I walked out. Stay far away from this place! They charge you hundreds to take away your equipment, they don't get in touch with you for months, and when they bring back your equipment, it's scratched up and dirty. This business has zero value do not work with them. read more

It was all a bit stressful as inventory was low, but I appreciated their going out of their way to locate the right models. Got a fair price on everything too. Delivery crew was careful, and timely. He called me upon his return wanting to know what happened and promising to make it right, WHICH HE DID. I was pleased with the final outcome. He was true to his word. I was impressed. "The Boss" really did get involved. Thank You Nick Prisco. My one suggestion: better communication. If they had let me know he was out of town for a family emergency I would have tempered my expectations. I was told he was at a trade show and would be back in three days, which is when I started to attempt contact. Other issue happened subsequently, so I was left to think he was not responding to phone calls, e-mails, etc. A simple phone call to say he was still away would have made a big difference. While we were happy to save nearly $800 on our $7,500 appliance order, the aggravation and delays we experienced were far worse. I had a great experience with Nick Prisco--A new washing machine was delivered and installed last week. During the first use, the machine made terrible noise and moved several feet along the floor. Spoke to Nick, who arranged for a different installer to come back today. That man (Chris) discovered what Nick had guessed was the problem--a bolt that is installed in the factory to prevent the drum from moving during transit, was not removed as it should have been during installation. Chris removed the bolt and then spent considerable time adjusting the feet and leveling the machine. It's now running quietly and not budging. Prisco's has fantastic customer service, great prices and it is obvious that they care for their customers. Recently, my mother's 8 month old refrigerator's compressor broke. It was under warranty. The company could not find one to replace it and was going to make us wait 3+ weeks as they tried. And only after that would they tell us "what they could do for us next." Feeling desperate, I contacted Prisco's thinking they might be able to put in a phone call to quicken the process and they not only did that, but they got us a brand new refrigerator in 3 days!!!! They made a miracle happen!!! My 80+ year old mother blesses Prisco's every time she opens the refrigerator door. Thanks everyone! We are telling everyone we know this story. Not good - On Wed I was having my Infiniti serviced at dealers next to Prisco Appliance- I walk over and take a look inside Prisco Appliance at some barbeque options - We had just purchased & moved into Hartsdale a year ago. I Had my grandson in my arms and we walked in- Whoever the lady person is with the glasses, approached me & asked me if I needed help- I responded quietly " I am just wandering in to look around " and before my next breath was spoken - she looked at me and made an loud store wide announcement - "WANDERING - GO WANDER -WANDER AROUND " - almost annoyed at me - A sale is made in the first 30 seconds when a person gives courteous care . Now the impression is embedded- another salesperson that worked there made eye contact with me and understood - No excuses or reasoning now - I left. It all comes down to customer service. Allison at Priscos is at best curt and often just downright rude. I thought I would receive expert advice and guidance when buying appliances. Nope. We had to swap out some because they were not appropriate for our space and we were never informed that our 12K fridge was intended for built only. We wanted to support local business so we went to Prisco to purchase washer and dryer the women was completely rude and obnoxious. I think her name was Allison. Trying to figure a delivery date bc we work so we picked a date we thought would work. When I got home I thought maybe they deliver on Saturday so I called back 15 minutes after I left to ask if they deliver on Saturday-she said yes but we're closing call back tomorrow! And she hangs up on me . Why wouldn't you mention you deliver on Saturday when you clearly we aware were having an issue having delivery during the week Bc we work. So we pick a Saturday and the Friday before we get a call the delivery guy is injured and can deliver tomorrow but can deliver it Sunday ! I was shopping for an in-wall sleeved A/C unit for one of my shareholders in a building I manage, and chose Prisco Appliance, not only on relative location to the property, but also by recommendations. My sales associate, Allison Leigh, was absolutely fantastic! She took the time to review my needs, and was very thorough in gathering the necessary information to determine the right unit for the room it was to be installed in. Allison was very knowledgeable about the product, and knew what information was necessary in order to size the right unit. In addition, Allison's communications with me to obtain this information was exceptional! She is true asset to Prisco Appliance and deserves recognition for her Sales and Customer Service! Horrible experience: if you value your time and appreciate good service, then DO NOT go to Prisco's. Bought two A/C units from Allison - wanted two more a couple weeks later - I needed them right away and called Allison last Thursday - she said they weren't in stock but she could get them on Friday (the next day) and that she would give me a discount (I mentioned PC Richards had them in stock and I could just go get them that day) so I figured I could wait one day and it would be worth the discount - BIG MISTAKE. I bought the units over the phone and planned to pick them up the next afternoon (Friday). She texted me later that day and said she won't have the 12k unit on Friday, but she'll have the 8k (said she would now have the 12k unit on Saturday). I went to get the 8k unit on Friday and she assured me they would have the 12k unit on Saturday - she said they would let me know once it's in. No word at all. I was waiting and no word. We went out and were close to the store around 1:30 pm on Saturday so I called to check if they had the unit yet - she said she was out and Nick was out and Nick won't be back for 2 hours (what? No one was in the store who could check when I called?). So I went home and waited. No word. It came close to the end of the day and I called again - no answer. She finally texted back- "call Nick." Seriously? You told me you would let me know when it came in (after already breaking two promises about when this would be in already, the prior two days!!) and now you want me to track down Nick to find out if the unit is in?! I'm sure you get the picture and know how this ends...but I'll tell you anyway: she texts me later that she talked to Nick and "asked him to call me twice" and "the unit didn't make the truck." So I had already asked her to cancel the order and issue a refund. I go to PC Richards and get the unit I want that evening - I was in and out in 10 minutes and they sold it to me for less than the "discounted" price at Prisco. Easy / efficient / satisfying experience. I reach out to Allison on Monday to check on the refund and she says "I'll do it tomorrow" No word of course the next day (which is today). I reach out to her and she asks for the credit card info (to send it to her). We call her - she doesn't pick up - I asked her to call my wife (who has the credit card info) and Allison does not. And now she is saying she held off on the refund because she thought she could get the unit - what? I told you I already got it elsewhere on Saturday. Oh, and on Saturday she said she could have the unit on Monday, and on Monday she said she could have it on Tuesday. Unbelievably frustrating experience. I do not recommend Prisco - in fact, just the opposite, I will avoid this place at all costs - service for me was horrible and they clearly do not value me, as a customer, or my time. EDIT: Spoke with Allison the day after I wrote this and she issued the refund right away, and let me be clear - I never thought they would not issue me a refund - nor did I think they were dodging me to prolong issuing a refund. On the contrary, Allison would respond to me after I followed up with her each time - my issues were having to follow up so much myself and not fulfilling promised delivery dates (repeatedly). Also note, that when I called Allison back that day, Nick asked to speak with me and he was very gracious and seemed genuinely apologetic, which I appreciated. For this, I'll add one star to my original review to bring it to a total of two stars. read more

We bought a new refigerator at Prisco. We have bought many appliances previously. After delivery and installation, a leak developed that day from the line connecting the refrigerator to a water source for the automatic ice maker. We were out that day and upon return, found a flood in our basement: several ceiling tiles down, carpet soaked and discolored. Prisco sold us a new, expensive copper line to replace the prior one which took two weeks to come in and install. Calls were not returned. No effort was made to clean up the mess caused by a faulty installation or compensate us. The owner, Nick, was brusque and when he finally returned a call, it was impossible to get a word in when speaking to him. The original salesperson when contacted 'washed his hands' of the whole matter. Needless to say, we will not patronize Prisco ever again. read more

If I could give a zero I would. Bought a subzero refrigerator freezer and paid $250 for installation to get extra year of warranty. Long story short years after when freezer was empty as no one had been in apartment for a year and refrigerator door heavy with bottles for New Years, upon opening refrigerator, it fell on top of my sil. It destroyed wood panels on freezer doors and scared my sil to death. We had subzero come out and assess the situation and they said it was installed without special brackets that have to be installed to keep it upright. They and we have talked to mr Prisco and he yells, hangs up the phone and is belligerent that he will do nothing to rectify situation. He hung up on me again today. I would avoid this place as customer service is non existent even though the law is on our side. See you in small claims court Mr Prisco. read more

We ordered a wall unit AC from Prisco. The men came unprepared without a ladder to install the AC. Prior to that 2 men were sent to do the measurements and they couldn't advise the one who were going to install the AC they needed a ladder???? Not Bright! So more time went by. The AC we ordered online and paid for was not delivered. They came with a cheaper brand and if we did not check they would have gotten away with the cost difference. This happened back in April. We still have not received the remote for the AC. Go somewhere else. And we've been dealing with the Owner. Arrogant and Horrible Service. read more

I am very pleased that despite the pandemic they were able to locate a refrigerator of a particular size. The sales person Bobby was great. The delivery team was phenomenal. Today I went into the store to settle an issue with my credit card and noted a sign on the door that stated masks were required. I was talking to Bobby when one of the other sales people "Allie" walked past me twice with no mask. I asked her to put on a mask, as did her coworker Bobby. She reluctantly complied but put it on improperly (below her nose). I asked her to wear it properly. She was most unhappy and rudely told me "I have antibodies". Imagine arguing with a customer! I guess Allie does not know how to read the sign on the door or just doesn't care about anyone but herself. So sad to think that this selfish person potentially exposed me to COVID. My previous review went away... Long story short they are not reliable. They charged me $500 for an install job, promising me they would hide wires and their guy did nothing of the sort. I chased for a month and when another guy came finally all he did was stick the box behind the TV. Prisco never apologized, never anything. Then I moved and saw just what a butcher job they did. Hung the bracket upside down. Bunch of extra holes drilled because they didn't use a stud finder (see pic).TV not attached to bottom bracket. The second guy should have known, didn't say anything. God this place has horrible customer service. My husband ordered a grill on 8/2 and it was supposed to be delivered 8/11. They never came and my husband called-- the thing never made it onto the truck. They never called. Just left my husband waiting. Then we tried and tried to get an alternate delivery date and it took a very angry call from my husband this morning (and he rarely gets angry) to get delivery today (8/19). Then we see they forgot to put the $80 grill cover on the truck! I called and said, "Hi, you just delivered a grill but didn't include the grill cover we paid for." Receptionist: "Yeah?" Me: Silent shock at the lack of apology Receptionist: "Name? number?" And now we wait to see if it shows up, and when. Updates may follow but I had to make sure no one uses them based on my experience thus far. They can't really make things any better, just worse at this point. read more

I give it one star because the delivery guys were fantastic. Delivery was not next day. Website is highly misleading. The store staff are highly unprofessional inappropriate rude and untrained. I was shocked to be informed they charge you the credit card fee if you use a credit card. This information should be stated on there website. . Why does the store employee need to hear all your personal information as your applying for financing over the phone. Highly irregular and I am not sure is legal or borderline . So basically this is a cash business. Which is not clearly stated on the site. I arrived with all the measurements and already selected appliances with a few questions and still staff was unaccommodating, complaining attitude about their job,,,,!,,, Why do customers need to listen to your personal problems while they are purchasing thousands of dollars in appliances. Questions about the appliances were met with an unhelpful attitude. The appliances are great but the service is poor I don't really think they care since the repeated comments on this page state the same and this business has the nerve to advertise how wonderful they are. If I had seen the comments before I would have gone to a box store. I went the next week for a different appliance. Same repeated behavior. Apathetic. Rude and unprofessional. Again. Prisco appliances needs to clean up there act. I went ahead and purchased my last appliance on Amazon and the Amazon representative was 10 times more helpful accommodating and professional than Prisco. i should have checked prices , i was sold a floor model refrigerator for what i thought was a discount. i got home and looked on there website to find out it was quoted at a cheaper price. i would never go back they are a bunch of thieves. If I could have given less than one star I would have. I have been a customer of Prisco for over 15 years, and never experienced anything like this recent purchase a Bosch Stove. The order was taken by Allison, who was pushy and talked over anything I had to say. The stove had a series of issues, the staff was not helpful at all, they sent an arrogant repairperson from Absolute Appliance, who gave me stupid and disrespectful excuses for the issues. I had to call Bosch myself and get it taken care of. Nick Prisco, made promises he did not keep, never returned calls and just lied, right up to promising a 5 yr extended warranty...that to no surprise never got to me after emails and calls. Terrible story to report! First, if I could give a minus 5 stars, I would not hesitate. We had purchased a kitchen item 16 yrs ago from Prisco, so, why not return since we were quite satisfied. Terrible mistake! Let's cut to the chase without hesitation, Allison, the floor sales person can not have an ounce of truth in her. We purchased a kitchen item, expensive and suddenly she says, we are entitled to a promotional item from the manufacturer. Ok, that is nice. However, first she convinced us to take a 5 yr protection plan from them, when after calling the manufacturer, they assured us that we have the exact same plan free with the purchase. Finally received a $600 refund after quite a bit of discussion. Then, the real problems arrived, the promotional item arrived with two parts missing! The responsibility was with PRISCO to supply them. To make a long story short, it took more than 2 months for them to provide them and in actuality, it was the manufacturer district rep who provided them. Prisco's customer service is pathetic, untruths, passing the buck, everything you do not want. Bottom line, their delivery is very good an nice personnel. The common courtesy to phone conversations is extremely lacking. The most aggravating is that they just hang up in a conversation and do not even listen to your concerns. I had a very good experience buying a new clothing dryer at Prisco. Fabio was very helpful when it came to showing me all the different features of each machine & brought up important features I hadn't thought about before. Even when I screwed up and ordered a gas dryer for my electric hookup, The delivery/installation staff were very kind & understanding & eager to help me. I will start by saying I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully by a store owner. Nick actually was actually yelling at me where I had to hang up on him. And the best part was he messed up. I ordered a fridge which was delivered and his delivery people damaged my newly painted walls. He offered to send his painter who came and made it look worse because he did a total botch job. So then Nick said he wanted to come look at the damage. We made an appointment and he never showed or called. When I contacted him a few days later he went into a tirade on how I have a problem.
