These guys are great, they do care, they go the extra mile, and their customer service is nothing short of amazing. I'm a long time buyer and have recently become a consignor, so I speak with experience. Recently I had a situation that required an explanation and sent an email in regards to it on Christmas Eve. Within 45 minutes I received a response from the President explaining what had happened and how it would be resolved. I've been reading the comments on here, specifically the negative ones and would like to offer some advice. 1- A mystery box is exactly that, a mystery box. There are no guarantees on what you are getting, hence the name "Mystery". My message to potential buyers of mystery boxes would be to limit your expectations. If there's a specific item you're hoping to get in a mystery box and will be disappointed if you don't get it, I suggest not bidding. Instead search for that specific item and bid on it instead. 2- There will be times when shipments are delayed, chill! Its one thing if your delay was caused by Pristine not shipping it in a timely fashion, its another if the carrier is experiencing delays. 3- I can attest to the FACT that there is absolutely ZERO SHILL BIDDING taking place. As a consignor believe me when I say that there are times when I wish artificial bids would have driven the final sale price of an item I'm selling up. Was ripped off on these Mystery Boxes. Paid $100 for what I was told was an Anthony Edwards Rookie autograph card. I received an Anthony Edwards Rookie card but it wasn't signed. I sent an email no response. I wrote to them on Instagram they told me I have to send an email to help@pristineauction.com then they block me from instagram. I won a bid on another Mystery jersey box and I get a Signed Fake Jersey from some LSU player with no paper work saying it's real. I was completely ripped off. read more

A great way to get signed memorabilia for a discount. The bidding is easy and there are plenty of types of auctions to win. Some things to keep in mind, 99% of the items are "custom jerseys." That means that they aren't NFL/NHL/NBA official, they are signed by the person but aren't up to the quality standards of a real jersey. This makes them cheaper for you, but also something to keep in mind when bidding. They also do a 10 minute extended bidding window (any bids within the last 10 minutes extend the auction time to 10 minutes). there is a buyers premium that they add to the price that goes to the auction house (I think it's like 15%). Finally, hope you don't have a customer service issue and if you do, don't do it through email. I had an incorrect item sent to me and after 15 emails I still don't have a resolution. They blamed the COA company and said that it was just the wrong sticker, but I had sent them images clearly showing that the item in question had a different teams logo on it. As far as I know, they don't attribute a case number to these issues and don't assign them to a particular rep. As a result I've gotten a lot of replies from different people saying the same things whenever I send them a follow up email and often it takes a day or more to receive a reply. I would give 5 stars if their jerseys looked authentic but they definitely look like cheap jerseys made from China. But I know to stay away from them. I also think you are not always betting against a real human. I think they have a bottom price and if your winning bid is below that it will have a bot outbid you until they hit their target price. What I am impressed about is their selection, their shipping speed and their customer service. It did take a day or two for them to respond to me on my Brian Urlacher signed photo that had a red streak line on itX but they gave me the option to send back for a refund or to get a partial refund and keep the item. I won a Vlady Jr. jersey so I also paid an extra $250 to get it framed nicely. Again, $250 to frame it....We the frame came in and all 4 corners weren't aligned, the top left corner was also chipping/peeling. the plexi glass cover wasn't even set right. So I immediately asked for a refund on frame, sent pictures, and a week later I get an email saying they are sorry and they would gladly refund me all my money, all I had to do was sent it all back to them. hmmmm so they can resell the un-damaged jersey and scrap the shitty frame? No thanks, I said I would keep the jersey. I bought them separately anyway. So i countered with keeping the jersey and taking $225 for frame because if they wanted that crap back I would have sent it back the next day. yeah, they said $100 is the best they could do unless I sent it all back. This auction was a complete disaster. I was interested In the 10 min bidding, so I gave it a try. I started my bidding on a mask which kept coming up in red and stating there was higher bidders. I found this interesting since I bid 20 dollars more than what it sells on eBay for. My friend said try again so I bid on several items items all of them in red indicating I had to bid higher. To make a long story short. I rec a email that was sent later on that night when I woke up in the morning I got it. It stated that I owed in the neighborhood of 1,500.00 dollars. Even though my bids were red and only 2 out of all the bids were green. They are the most corrupt company I have ever met in my life. I disputed the buy with PayPal and provided them with all the emails that said I was losing bid with all items but 2. During the dispute Pristine Auction without my authorization charged my bank through a card I used 1 other time to buy 1 kobe rookie card. Everyone now knows about these thrives. After they charged all items to my card I received a box of sh!$ lit. I added all items up and they all equaled approximately $300-$400 dollars. They stole over $1,500.00. Do Not Do Business with these crooks and if you do then blame yourself. Cause you've been warned. I blocked their site and all email communication. First the fees and shipping are ridiculous, they can easily add $40-$80 on your total so the "deal" you think you got is quickly not so good at the end. Second I've never received anything worth while from the mystery boxes. The worst was Black Friday when I paid $700 (yes those damn fees) for 3 full size helmets. They hyped the hell out of the posting and was led to believe there was good value....not true. I received scrub players not even on the team or in the league anymore (Sony michel patriots on a very generic helmet - laviska sheanault on jags flash helmet). You could go on fanatics and get those for $100 when they had their sale going on. The 3rd helmet was Jason witten, sounds great but it is the raiders one and worth about $200/$225 on open market. Just received lot #2798850 and the serial number cannot be found on any Beckett site. Update 12/21: so I originally deleted this post because for a minute, I actually thought Pristine was going to help me LOL SO NAIIVE! I ordered a BGS 9.5 Barry Sanders RC! Awesome! Always wanted one! I shared a pic of it on Instagram when I received it and then bam, everyone accused me of showcasing a fake card. Baffled, I looked into the "BGS" serial number and it wasn't found in any Beckett system!!! I attempted to contact Pristine multiple times with no response so my next step was a BBB report. Instead of apologizing, the owner doubled down and called me a liar MULTIPLE TIMES. Why the hell would I lie about this?? Anywho, A MONTH, has now passed with Pristine apologizing to me weekly through email, but of course not from the owner or BBB response, but for not getting ahold of a Beckett. Finally, they offered me a refund this week, again AFTER A MONTH of being aware of this issues and again, after being called a liar multiple times. Lol, but of course Pristine still messed that up! They only offered store credit(LOLLL!!!!!) even though I used my debit card to purchase and refused to provide insurance on the return setting me up for a non-refund! Unbelievable! Do not order the mystery boxes total waste of money. I ordered quite a few different mystery box collections and some how got duplicate jerseys? Like you all say no duplicate jerseys in the collection and you randomly insert them in boxes. How the heck does it work out for me to randomly get 2 sets of duplicate jerseys. Bogus!! So i have been a customer of them for years! I purchase items from them on a daily basis and get them delivered no problem at all. For some reason, this shipment had incorrect shipping information (Shipping Department mistake). Delivery kept getting delayed on item and it notified me that it is being sent back to shipper. I finally called FedEx and they said that they do not have the correct shipping information, that's why the item is being sent back. Notice, INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION, which means shipping department responsibility. Pristine Auction received item back from FedEx and they blame me for the item not being delivered. So they decided to charge me 30% restocking fee, and shipping costs as well, ALL because they had made a mistake while shipping the item. They tell me I can't receive full refund because I had "no cause". What a joke. Once it comes to $$ signs, this company forgets loyalty for customers. They charged me almost $300.00 restocking and shipping fee, LITERALLY for a MISTAKE that their shipping department has CAUSED. So I have been using the pristine auction site for 4 years now. I have always had good experiences until recently. I won an auction a month ago. I wrote after 3 weeks and want to confirm when it would ship. I had to write about 3 emails. Finally I got an answer on Monday that the item I won they don't have. As you might imagine I wasn't happy. They offered me a jersey which isn't what I bid on. I have paid for this item, $1591.20 dollars and not received anything. I wrote 3 emails to them on Monday Asking for a full refund since they can't provide the item I won and they had on their website and I heard nothing back today. I don't understand all the negative feedback for this business. I won an autographed NASCAR and I had questions concerning payment. I sent an email and called their number (I left a voicemail). Both were done over the weekend. And I received replies on both within two days. They sent me an email that the item had been sent and I received the package the very next day! It was packed very securely and the product was exquisite! I couldn't be happier. The only negative I could think of is the buyers premium which is added on to the final winning bid price.
