After receiving a tire quote from my car dealer, I decided to try Pritchett Tire. I really prefer to use a local company for my car maintenance and this location has great reviews, so I decided to try it. I brought my quote from the dealer inside and talked to Johnny about my tire needs. He was very helpful and, in the end, ordered two tires for me to arrive the next morning. Unfortunately, the tires didn't arrive when expected, so I ended up going back later in the day. There would be a wait, so I chose to return the next day. I had a blowout as I was just arriving to Clayton for mountain vacation. I called my cabin hostess who recommended this place for a new tire. They were accommodating, polite, quick, & just plain old "great local service"! They told me I had another tire that was the wrong size. I knew my steering had been pulling quite markedly. I called my son who immediately told me to get that tire replaced also. So I did & the drive home back to Florida was easy & smooth! Highest recommendation for Pritchett. I was in town on vacation and picked up a nail in one of the tires on my F-150. I called four other shops and three of them told me that they were too busy. A fourth didn't even answer the phone. I called Pritchett at 3:30pm and talked to Scotty. He told me to come on by and that he'd squeeze me in. It took maybe 15 minutes for them to get to me then no more than 10 minutes for the actual repair. In and out in a half hour for a very righteous price. These guys were lifesavers. After stopping at the Express Lube to get a tire fixed the 4 adults older men only plunged the tire and would put it on just left the spare on sad 4 big men can't put a tire on told us to go to Pickett tire store down the hill. So we went to the tire store Pickett ans yes Andy took good care of us ladies check the tire out to make sure it was safe and took the spare off and put the tire back and and also put the spare back under the car great job snd great service. Andy didn't charge us at all but give Mr Andy a nice tip thanks to Mr Andy for the great service you give us and the service you give us ladies and not taking us for a run for the money Thanks again Mr Andy. read more

Stopped by there and ordered 4 tires - and they assured me the tires would be there by lunch the next day. The next day, I spent a good part of the morning calling to make sure the tires had arrived before making the trip down there. All I got was an answering machine and I never got a callback. I finally made the drive down there only to learn that just 3 out of 4 tires had been delivered. I told them to forget it. When you are making a $$$ purchase, someone should answer the damn phone when you call. BTW - they add a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. Ridiculous... I won't be back...... read more

We fled Florida to escape Erma and needed the wheel locks removed from our tires becase the key was lost. I got the lugs in town and got a oil change kit as well. I a master technican for GM and this is the first time I had to put my car in someone hands in along time. They took my car in and in a short time we were on the road. Tire pressure set. Washer fluid filled and lube sticker on the windshield. Like I did it myself. If your in need of service i would recommend them in a heartbeat. Nice guys on top of that! read more

Last week my wife and I enjoyed a relaxing 3 hour kayak outing on Lake Burton only to find a flat tire on my sports car when we got back to Anchorage Boat Dock. Since the car doesn't have a spare and the run-flat tires had been replaced with performance tires...a portable air-pump and a can of Fix-a-Flat were going to be my solution. But I decided to call Pritchett Tire first. Megan said, "NO...don't spray in that stuff! It's really difficult to clean off the inside of the tire and rim before repairing the tire. We'll send someone out." Wow...I was about 8 miles away. A short while later Jonathan Long, the store manager, arrived. He removed the wheel/tire and found the problem...a razor blade embedded in the tread. We jumped back in his truck and back to their store. He patched the tire in about 10 minutes and then we headed back to the marina where he put it back on the my car. Of course, Jonathon still had to drive back to Clayton. Jonathon was terrific! So was Megan. I know driving without run-flat tires is a little risky. And I prefer not to drive around with a spare tire in the backseat. I just hope the next time I have a flat, I have half as good an experience as I did with Pritchett Tire. David M. read more

I was visiting Clayton GA for Thanksgiving Weekend. On Friday night my RAV4's alternator went out. On Saturday morning I stopped by an auto supply store and they had a replacement alternator for me but I needed someone to install it. The auto supply store called Pritchett Tire at 9:30 AM and they said bring my RAV4 over and they will install it for me. I got there by `10 AM and they close at noon on Saturdays but got the job done. I was very relieved I didn't have to get this all done on a Monday morning.
