In every motorcycle dealership, it is clearly important by the way you approach. Sometimes just straight to the point or without not even knowing what someone wants. I made my way through very nice selection of models, cruisers, etc. I KNEW what I had in mind and the Favorable thing was that I was given straight up awesome deals, as anyplace or anyone it takes a process and it all seemed to go extremely fast, very excellent communication, and the team, all the team served very productive and excellence deal. My experience with Private Club Power Sports has been nothing short of unacceptable. I purchased a 2023 Polaris Slingshot from them in October, only to receive a vehicle with damages that were never disclosed at the time of sale. That alone raises serious concerns about their honesty and business practices. To make matters worse, the vehicle was delivered with only one key, and I was never provided the passcode/key information. For a purchase like this, that's basic and should never be overlooked. It is now April, and I still have not received a copy of the title. This has completely delayed my ability to properly register the vehicle and has created ongoing frustration. For a dealership to drag this out for months is inexcusable. Trying to get answers has been a constant runaround. I've been passed from one person to another with no accountability, no clear communication, and no resolution. Management has been just as ineffective--slow responses, empty promises, and no real effort to fix the situation. This experience feels like once they got the money, they stopped caring entirely. Between the undisclosed damage, missing key/passcode information, failure to provide proper paperwork, and lack of professionalism, I cannot recommend this company to anyone--especially if you are purchasing from out of state. Hello Yelpers and Yelpettes..... Lets dive right into Private Club Powersports. I'll try not to be too wordy, but there is some information you need to know about this place. I was ready to make a deal with cash in hand. I knew what I wanted and all I needed to do is look at the motorcycle. I made the deal over the phone before I showed and that's all she wrote. Here comes the stinky part, They Lost The Keys!!! How can you do that at a dealership?? Rhetorical. They did pay for a re-key but it was a pain because I had to get a trailer and all the inconvenience of that... Moving right along, I get a text saying my plates are in. I get there and about 45 minutes later they find them. Do you see the pattern here? A few months go by, I never get my title. I called and left two messages and they never returned my call. At this point I'm not even going up there and trying to see if they have it. I ended up going to the DMV and filling for a certified copy of the title. The staff at first was super friendly, the GM even gave me his number 8324231151. Now after the sell, it's like you didn't even exist. Suggestion to you, If you'd like to go through what I did, then sure buy from them. Beyond that, no no no no. no! The sale rep Franklin never told us the total cost of the bike. He was only focused on the monthly payments. Then they have a $3000 accessory fee which is their dealer fee. I really didn't want to do this but at this point I don't have a choice. My husband and I drove from Louisiana to Houston and bought a 2023 Can-Am Spyder on June 28, 2025. The sell itself wasn't a horrible experience. We are now over a month and still can't legally drive the bike. We were not given a temp registration for the bike. We weren't given anything actually. We had to print the buyers order from our email because everything is done electronically. They put the temp plate on the bike and that was it. Per Louisiana OMV, we must have the registration to do the driving part of the road skills test for the motorcycle endorsement and to have the bike inspected. NO ONE can tell us where our paperwork is. Come to find out, the bike is still registered in Arizona. It was never registered to the dealership. The tax office in Texas has no records of our information to do the registration and plate transfer to Louisiana. I wish I would have read the Yelp reviews before driving all the way to Houston because we would not have bought a bike from this dealership. Our next steps will have to be to contact an attorney to get our registration and license plate. Every time we try to call, there is no answer. Every time we send a message, they say someone will be calling us but no one ever does. And let's not talk about how they absolutely will NOT respond to any email whatsoever. It really is sad that all they are worried about is a sell. Once you sign they are done with you even though they don't give you all of your proper documents. They won't even email us a copy of the temp registration. On 8/1/25 we were given a tracking number of what we assumed would be the registration and license plate. It shows delivered 8/4/25 in Denham Springs 2 hours away from our address. This is the most insane thing I have ever seen to get our registration and license plate. Looks like we will have to get an attorney involved. We will definitely not be buying anything else from this dealership. read more

Great friendly sales people who were very helpful with my initial purchase. Then within 5 days the car started overheating and sensors were going haywire. I took the car to a toyota dealership and the mechanics said the car was missing pieces of the frame and unsafe to drive. I then took the car to a 2nd mechanic and the same response, "this car is not safe to drive". I text the salesman at Private Club Motors and the car was able to be returned within an hour. My only issue is that they were not able to refund my downpayment, so now I am out 1k. I really feel like a full refund for putting a car out on the road that is unsafe to drive, isn't too much to ask. I'll add a pic below so people will be aware of what to look out for when buying a used vehicle, you can see the metal piece about the front tire is completely gone. I was told at the Toyota dealership that in a head on collision the car can completely collapse on itself if the frame is not sound. That is scary stuff when you are buying the vehicle for your daughter. This all happened recently, the car was purchased 1/20/22 and returned 1/27/22, so I probably have some good tips for anyone wanting to know what to look out for when buying a car from these guys. . If my review can help someone else avoid a $1,000 loss it will at least make me feel a little better ;). I went there last weekend after seeing a used car on Craigslist. Located in a dirt lot next to shell station with container box as office, it's your quintessential craigslist small dealer. The car looked different than pictures on the ad: holes in the car seats and dirty interior. Since I didn't want to buy a car with problems, I said I'll put down deposit (they asked $500 cash in exchange for receipt; big mistake - if they take it, pay it with credit card so you can dispute it later) to take for pre-purchase inspection. I asked the guy, Shaz, if I don't like the car in any way, I can get the deposit back and he said yes of course. NO WHERE in the receipt or verbal agreement said it was a non-refundable if I don't buy the car by Monday. Another dealership had a better car, so I called to get deposit back. They told me they can't give deposit back since they lost business over the weekend because of my deposit and not buying. The only reason I got $350 back out of $500 is I told them I will take them to small claims court. I've bought used cars from small dealers like this with no issues. But this is not how a good dealership does business, especially if you're a small business. There are a number of small but reputable dealers, but this is not one of them. Bad cars/bad business.
