First repair guy who came out to see what was wrong with my fridge was good . Took his time and didn't force anything to get to the issue . Second guy came out yesterday and was there for all of 20 minutes . Cracked the plastic cover for the fan , tried to install screws to some of the pieces at an angle and left them to stick out or not even be in at all . And worst of all my bottom drawer no longer stays close as of something is pushing it back out when you close it . I looked there isn't anything . I also found a broken plastic piece at the bottom of the fridge that I have no clue where it goes . Prolly the reason my drawer isn't working who knows . Got a call from then this morning asking me what I wanted to do . I'm a ups driver and can't take time off this time of year is difficult so having a 3rd guy come out means my wife has to take time off which is also difficult. Had a appointment with pro appliance this morning between 8-12. Spoke with Linda last week who confirmed my appointment which was scheduled initially for 7/11 between 1-4, but changed to Monday 7/15 between 8-12. Been waiting all morning for technician to arrive and nobody showed up. Called Linda to see when I could expect a technician? Linda replies my appointment was changed to 1-4 although I received a call and text from sears yesterday confirming my appointment time of 8-12. Linda was very rude and unprofessional as I explained that I just received a call and text from sears Sunday 7/14 confirming my appt time and date. Tried to take the issue up with a manager or supervisor and Linda says she's the only person to talk to. I don't recommend this appliance service to anyone who has a schedule they don't honor their appointment times! read more

I rent and go through a management company to have repairs done. I don't get to choose who comes out. This is the worst service I've ever received. Workmen did not show up the first time he was scheduled to come out. Told his office he did and we weren't home. We were home he never showed up. Rescheduled the workman came out and broke the key to our laundry room in half spent his whole service call trying to pry the key out of the door handed me back the two broken pieces and said we needed a follow up appointment. He said he would contact our management company about replacing the key and get back to us. I get a text saying I need to schedule a follow up. I call Pro Appliance and explain I am a renter, you broke my key. I can't let you into the laundry room with out a key. Please contact the management company for the key and to file an incident report so I can get a new key. The girl in the office was rude hung up on me and told me we'll get back to you on that. She never did. I called the management company about the whole incident. After speaking with the management company I got a text from pro appliance saying they canceled my appointment for Dec 13th which was the day the workman showed up and broke my key in the lock. I don't know if they are trying to pretend they never came out and ergo would not have broken the key? unfortunately for them I have all the text messages from before and after arrival. Horrible service! They came out to repair our refrigerator and stated it needed a new fan so they ordered part and said they would be out in couple days. They called in couple days and scheduled a technician to come out so I had a family member come over and stay at our home since we would be at work. Well they never showed up so I called and the receptionist said they had cancelled my appt in error instead of cancelling someone else's so she called technician and he said he would be at my house in the next hour or 2. After waiting again the technician called and said that the part never arrived!! So they scheduled it for another couple days out! They then came out and replaced the part (fan) in the fridge and said it would be back to normal by morning. Well it started cooking better for about a day then started dropping temperature again!! Called them to inform them I was still having same problem and they basically said that they would Not be coming out again as they don't know what the problem is so I would have to contact someone else!! They only checked it once, never came back out to check it again but yet they have no idea what's wrong with it?? What kind of appliance repair technicians do they have working there? Absolutely ridiculous. This was a 2 week process so I was stuck without a fridge for about 3 weeks with toddlers and a baby in the home so it was extremely frustrating as this needed to get done ASAP and they were absolutely incompetent! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone and I will make sure everyone I know or speak to knows about their horrible service!!!! read more

My freezer compressor needed replacement so I called Pro Appliance after reading all the great yelp reviews. My appointment was scheduled with a window of 1pm-3pm but when no one showed up by 3pm I called and was told he was running late. Victor arrived around 3:45 and I directed him to the freezer informing him I believed the compressor was out and needed replacement and left him to his work. About half an hour later he informed me the compressor was indeed bad at which time I told him I have a service warranty covering the part however I would cover the labor cost. fast forward two weeks, after not hearing from him I called and was told my warranty replacement compressor was at the shop however he would not install it and I could come pick it up. Now I am out $50.00 stuck with a broken freezer a replacement part (that does me no good, I'm have no idea how to install refrigeration lines) and no one to install it. My thought is it was simply more work than simply plugging in electrical parts so he didn't want to finish the job. If your looking for a reputable appliance repair guy I would not recomend Pro Appliance. Also they tell you the $50 diagnostic fee will be deducted from the actual service cost but if he refuses to do the service what does that help. read more
