This place was wonderful!!! I was on a vacation in St. George when I began experiencing some car problems. Whenever I would start to brake my car would start to shake. I was nervous to drive all the way home without knowing what the problem was and wanted to get it checked out so my husband had me go to Pro Auto Care after reading their good reviews. Originally, based on what I was describing they thought the issue was probably with my front brakes and rotors but after they took it on a test drive it was determined that the issue was likely coming from the rear brakes but they put it on the lift just to check everything out. After lifting it they determined that the problem was coming from the rear rotors. The rotors were warped which is what was causing the shaking. They took me out to the shop area and showed me exactly how they were able to determine they were warped and the areas of wear on the rotors. (We had just had our rear brakes and rotors replaced approx. 1 year ago and my husband thought they may still be under warranty at the place that originally did the repair.) The man at Pro Auto Care said that because there was still plenty of brake pad left in the rear that it may not have been a very good quality of rotor and suggested that when we take it in to make sure to have them replace the whole rotor because if they just 'machined' it then it would just be a matter of time until we would experience the same problem as it would just be a band-aid fix. He also put my mind at ease and told me that it would not be a danger to drive it home until we could take it in to our original repair shop. I am so grateful for their patience and excellent advice. I wanted to pay them something for checking it out for me and for the great job that they did but they insisted that I did not need to pay anything. They also offered us water while we were waiting and offered my daughter a brownie when I was in the shop. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for their excellent service. The service that my family and I recently received at Pro Auto Care is nothing short of astonishing. We decided to spend the weekend in St. George for Spring Break and once we arrived, the driver's side window of our van would no longer close. After fiddling with it for a while without any success, I knew I was in trouble. It was now 4:00 pm on a Friday, there was rain in the forecast and the car would be in a hotel parking lot for the night. I immediately began searching for Auto Shops in St. George and ran across Pro Auto Care's great reviews. I gave them a call, told them my situation, and asked if they had time to take a look. Being from out of town I was pretty nervous because I knew I was over a barrel. They told me they'd be happy to help and to come right over. Once we arrived, I was encouraged to see that their shop was clean and organized. They got us right in and started working on the window. After a while, I poked my head into the shop to see how things were going. The window was now closed and Evan told me that it was being held in place by his vice grips. He asked me if I wouldn't mind sending those back to him after we got home! I told him I wouldn't mind at all! After they put everything back together, Sonny came out and told us that we were good to go. I asked him how much I owed him, and he said nothing! I did my best to pay him but he assured me that it wasn't necessary. My experience sure tells a lot about Pro Auto Care. If they would treat me this way while in a very vulnerable position and without any reasonable expectation of repeat business, I can only imagine how they take care of their regular customers. I was just traveling through Saint George Utah while on a multi-state road trip vacation when a very loud continuous noise developed from my engine with my 2004 Toyota Camry. After inspecting my engine several times, I was unable to determine the cause of this very loud continuous engine noise. Being a stranger in town, I noticed that this business had outstanding customer reviews on Yelp. I then telephoned this business. The phone call was answered quickly and professionally, I explained my problem and circumstance. I was then given polite directions to this business. Needless to say, I arrived without a appointment. When I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome at this business and my car problems were addressed very quickly. Within a few very short minutes I met with a professional and courteous mechanic that diagnosed the engine problem within about 5 minutes. A new Toyota OEM alternator was quickly ordered and delivered by a courier. My car was fully repaired and back on the road for my road trip vacation that very same morning. Repairs were completed while I waited in a very clean and comfortable customer waiting room. The customer care representative kept me fully informed about the repairs and the repair progress throughout my visit. The cost of repairs were more than fair and reasonable. Thank you. It was absolute pleasure to have met all of you at your very fine quality business and to have my auto repair problems resolved at your shop. I have lived in Southern Utah for over 20 years and am very critical and meticulous with my vehicle maintenance and care. As a result my auto care history has lead me from one shop to the next because I cannot find someone who maintains an ethical standard, fair prices, and service that takes you and your concerns to heart until I found Pro Auto Care. These guys made me feel like I was family, and didn't move further in any repairs to my care without contacting me. They also are very transparent in their approach, there are no secrets no tricks to fixing things, it is all upfront. It is just hard to find good old fashioned American work ethic and reliability, These guys are the real deal. I will not be taking my vehicle to any other auto care professionals. I have contacted them with questions and concerns and they have also offered aid over the phone on what I might be able to do in order to fix the problem without having to bring it in and free of charge. I have also had significant electrical issues with a vehicle of my and they spent over an hour on my car, fixed it and sent me on my way free of charge. Classic story. My daughter was driving from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo to a summer internship in Boulder, CO. Her car started running hot on the grade outside of Baker, CA. After running the heater (118 degrees outside), rolling windows down, etc we managed to get her to St. George for the night. Found Sonny and Pro Auto through Yelp. Of course it was a Friday and the shop was extremely busy but....Sonny promised to squeeze her in. Sonny was AWESOME!!! Took her car for a quick test drive and diagnosed her with a leaky head gasket. Sonny said they could fix it but would take about a week, and suggested she could make it to Boulder anyways just monitoring the temperature in the car, taking it easy on grades and adding water if needed. He also gave me some watch out scenarios when she takes it to another shop. He then set her up with a gallon of water and some rags, showed her how to add water if needed, and sent her on her way. I just wish we lived near Saint George so I could take my cars here all the time. In September of 2015 my wife and I were driving through Utah pulling a 5th wheel trailer. Our truck was overheating so we pulled into a repair shop in Mesquite, Utah. After spending the night and $700 we left thinking all was well. The truck still overheated and we limped into St. George and stopped across from Pro Auto Care as our engine was about to explode. We could not figure out what was wrong and anticipated having both truck and trailer towed to a Dodge dealer and RV park for hundreds if not thousands of dollars. I walked across the street and contacted "Sonny" at Pro Auto Care. He brought out a scanner and within 30 minutes had found the and repaired the problem. A blown fuse! The guys in Mesquite had cheated us or were completely dishonest. Sonny was not only honest but friendly and competent. He only wanted to charge us 30 dollars for his time and expertise. We have been taking our vehicles to Evan for years. Evan and his team are the best in the business. They are honest and don't overcharge or take advantage of those of us that are not knowledgeable about vehicles. They stand behind their work. We had an issue with our Tundra that was a puzzler. It took a few days to figure it out and resolve it. It's been fine ever since. We will never take our vehicles to anyone but him and his team. We have moved to Las Vegas and we still take our vehicles to Pro Auto Care. For all the ladies out there that are tired of mechanics taking advantage of your plight, this will not happen here. The shop is clean and well maintained. This team is polite and not intimidating. They explain what needs to be done in a manner which is easy to understand. Having just moved to St George and driving a 20 year old Toyota Land Cruiser (that I'm rather picky about who touches it), I was referred to Pro Auto Care by a local tire store.... and I'm glad I was. Evan, Tom and crew deserve every 5 star rating they've earned here on yelp! I've had my Land Cruiser into Pro Auto Care twice in the last couple of weeks (unrelated repairs), and I can't believe the amazing service both times. These guys are as honest as the day is long, their prices are very reasonable, and best of all... they know the lost art of customer service.... priceless. Don't you hate giving you're hard earned money to a business that treats you like a commodity?..... Not here. These guys take the time to thoroughly diagnose your problem, explain your options, and answer your questions... with no high pressure sales pitch. Calling all Toyota lovers! This is the place. I took my 80 Series LC in for some extremely failed axel seals and a brake job and Manny had it up on the lift before I was out the door. The care and precision the entire team here exhibits is top-notch. They let me and my son come back to see my car on the lift and the shop is immaculate, by far the cleanest public mechanic shop I've seen. On top of that, their prices are fair. They're not going to do sub-par work. They're going to use the best parts and strive to keep your vehicle running long-term. This comes with a price, but it's a fair price. Most shops will add a moderate upcharge on parts, as far as I can tell they do not - at least comparing to other OEM Toyota parts providers online. As these vehicle get older, parts become more scarce, and the team's relationship with suppliers benefits their customers. I'm happy to recommend Pro Auto Care to my fellow Land Cruiser owners. I can't say enough about the staff at Pro Auto Care. I am from California and was broken down in St. George. I went to the local car dealership first but I wanted a second opinion so I went to Pro Auto Care since they had great yelp reviews. Tom answered the phone and said bring your car in for a free inspection immediately. He was thorough and very polite. Then Evan was the service tech who went over every detail with me regarding my car. He also spoke with the dealership extensively. Not only did they save the day but they talked to me and gave me the best advice and information. I can't thank this shop enough. If you are from any city or country, just know that bringing your car there you are in the best hands. You will be given a fair price and receive excellent service on your car. I cant say enough about how great this place is. If you need anything done with/for your car come to these guys. We had just had a bad dealing with another auto shop in town and where lead to believe a fix for our window would cost hundreds of dollars and take hours of work, but Pro Auto did a full repair in 15-20 minutes and no parts needed. Between the labor and estimate of parts from the other place these guys saved us over $600, and on top of everything after all they did they refused to charge us anything because "the job didn't take much work". All they asked for was if anything should go wrong with the car that we choose to come back to them for repairs. It is HIGH time I raved about these guys! Years ago, I brought our Ford Ranger with it's non functioning passenger window to them to fix. Which they did in a jiffy. The price they would have charged I gladly would have paid. However, they had barely opened their shop (formerly near DSU) and so charged me nothing ("our cash register isn't open yet," or some such thing.) That right there won my loyalty! Fixed my window and did not charge anything. They understand customer service. They have been so honest and helpful - I have great respect for and trust them! I have taken my Honda CRV and our Ford Ranger to this great shop (now Sunset and 1300 West) for years and years run by these great guys...plus I tell anyone who will listen "Take your car to PRO AUTO!" If you are looking for some honest guys to assess your vehicle needs, you won't be disappointed if you come here. I drove out from Dallas, TX to visit my parents and my car was shaking coming down some steep hills in Colorado. I just wanted to know if my car was safe to be driving back to Texas or if I needed to fix something before I head home. After checking out my roters and brake pads they let me know I had 60-70 percent of my brake pads left and roters were warped. They would have fixed them today if I wanted them to but they thought I didn't need to unless I really didn't like the shaking. These guys are awesome. I was from out of town and called at almost 4:00 pm with my daughters car broke down. They helped me find a tow truck and got my car to their shop. Its now nearly 5 pm on a Friday afternoon. As soon as my car arrived to their shop Evan, Sonny and Tom immediately went to work on our car and had me fixed in less than 45 minutes and charged me less than $50 for an emergency repair. These guys are awesome, honest and great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who needs auto repairs. Its nice to see there are honest people who could have taken advantage of my situation and instead made me a raving fan. Take your car or truck here for repair. Our Honda Civic was overheating while we were on a road trip and we found these guys when we stopped in St. George. They identified the problem (it was a leaking radiator) in about 5 minutes, and they didn't charge us a penny. They even let us look under the hood so we could see exactly what they were seeing. They were able to order the necessary parts and have us out of there in 3 1/2 hours. The price was a lot lower than we expected for a radiator replacement, and they even washed the car for us! We were shocked at how good their service was. We're sad that we don't live in St. George because we'd love to go back to these guys in the future for any other car issues that may arise. My car started acting up when we were visiting Zion last year (yes, very late review but oh well) and we couldn't figure out what was going on. We had to leave back to So Cal the next day so were obviously concerned about making it home. This shop was great! The main guy was very kind and switch the plugs around and did a bunch of other things to try to help us trouble-shoot my car. In the end, nothing work and, despite us offering, he refused to take a dime for the half hour of work he put into it. (If I remember right, we also kept him late because we didn't get there until almost closing) He was really nice and, even though I hope I don't need too, if I'm in the area again, I'll be coming here if need be! read more

College student here, 300+ miles away from my mechanic dad. My dad was wanting me to go to a Honda dealership for the issue so they were familiar with Hondas but I didn't want to spend that kind of money unless I absolutely had to. I researched as many places as I could and decided to give Pro Auto Care a go. My dad was very pleased to find out later that Pro Auto Care does in fact specialize in Hondas. Took my little Honda civic in almost two weeks ago and they were GREAT. I have had zero issues since, they diagnosed the problem at no charge, ordered and replaced the part within the same day. While on our way to Escalante National Monument from Southern California my A/C went out just south of Mesquite, NV. We found Pro Auto on Yelp. Upon arrival they offered us free bottled water. We had arrived about 45 minutes before closing time. They took about 15 minutes to diagnose the problem and said they could fix the A/C in about two hours. It took them an hour and a half. They stayed well passed their closing time to fix the A/C allowing us to continue on our journey. They were courteous and professional and very accommodating considering our situation. The price was reasonable and they applied a military discount. I can not recommend them enough!!! read more

A super HUGE positive review of the guys at ProAuto Care. We took our daughter's old Toyota Camry to the dealer because of strange sounds in the engine and gas gauge going crazy. We sat and were completely ignored...so I looked on Yelp and found ProAuto Care! They looked at the car, immediately...assessed the problem (the gas tank had expanded because of pressure and the pressurizing parts not functioning)...they took the car, ordered parts, fixed it below their estimate! I appreciated their quick work, quality service and honest customer service. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for any work done. Our daughter will be returning for maintenance at this location. read more
