My dad was a customer of Freddys' for over 20 years and I've been a customer of both Freddy and Sal for years now. This is the only car repair shop that I go to and trust wholeheartedly. I have had various wear and tear issues fixed and have never had to return for repair work they have performed. After dropping the car off I have always been called with a diagnosis within two or three hours and after approving of the repairs, was able to pick the car up by the end of day. The pricing is fair and I am shown the old parts upon pickup (my air filter was scary). I am certain I am not the only one that feels this way. When going into the shop I've had three exchanges with other waiting customers whom I have struck a conversation with that feel the same way. I trust them as I would trust my own family! Finally, we came here because of some post we found on Reddit, and it was so easy, they had it done in an hour or so- all they had to do was contact the DMV- they had the direct number to the correct department and show the guy a picture that the car passed and bam, I had my inspection sticker. Plus I went back another time to have them actually work on some things like the brakes and they were great- they gave me an accurate estimate and adhered to it, and I got my car back in a few days. I assumed they were telling me the truth but I didn't tell them to go ahead because my son had booked the car into Queens Auto and Truck Service to look at a possible issue with the suspension (i.e. noise going over bumps). Queens Auto and Truck Service examined the car and said there was nothing wrong with the CV boot or the suspension. Turns out the 'suspension issue' has to do with the sunroof seal drying out and needing to be replaced. I can do that myself. Anyway I will definitely be taking my Lexus to Queens Auto and Truck Service in the future.

I finally lost my trust in them, having been treated vary badly and unprofessionally. Next I took the car for maintenance to Great Bear, on Kissena Blvd. in my neighborhood. The car was stalling when accelerating to enter the highway, a very dangerous situation. I also needed a new AC compressor. They charged me an exorbitant amount, but the car kept stalling, and the new, very expensive AC compressor did a poor job from the start. Isaac took care of the stalling problem, made my AC work as it should, performed regular maintenance, all that for a fraction of the price I was used to pay. My wife I I were treated in a very friendly and respectful way. Isaac is a very busy man, so don't expect a speedy resolution to your car problems or needed service. But he'll do the right job for the right price, and treat you the way a customer should. I highly recommend Isaac. I'll be his loyal customer for as long as own a car.
