Where do I start? It was very easy to purchase my motorcycle, but every interaction that I have had since has been nothing short of a nightmare. I understand that the average worker there probably isn't considering a career with the company, but the level of incompetence and utter disregard for making my ownership satisfaction is astonishing. We are at a disadvantage as there is really only one Honda dealership in our area, but at this point, if I were to purchase another Honda, I'll drive the extra two hours to purchase from a dealer that values their customers. The communication from Pro Caliber has been very poor at best. They seem to have any sense of urgency to get things done and completed. I traveled 7 hrs to pick up a 2023 freeride demo that i was told by a salesman (Sam) was in excellent shape i had set up a loan through them for top dollar but i was ok with that because they are in short supply but after i got to see it in person i could see it had been wrecked bumper had been replaced front plastics were broken the skiis were trashed on the bottoms and the brake cover had been red hot and rusty(someone rode it with the ebrake on for some time) so when i questioned the salesman he denied it had been wrecked and would not negotiate any price drop when i asked them to remove the hood so i can inspect the rest of the sled from the wreck he said i would have to pay labor so obviously i left! I did go back in to complain to the owner and was then told i could inspect it but to little too late had they been honest up front i would not have made the trip the owner gave me 200 for my fuel wich is better than nothing but I will never do business here again on my return trip i stopped at Waterworld and purchased a brand new sled they were great!! read more

Took them over a month to get a part from the dealer. Should have order it from eBay or somewhere more reliable. Meanwhile they stored my motorcycle out in the open exposed to sun and rain...no cover, carport or even explaining that it would be outside exposed to the elements. Great crew...bad systems. Granted, I was looking for inexpensive parts but one was a Honda part. The guy at the counter acted perturbed that I would trouble him for the part which he looked up and said he did not have. I asked about the second part (a metric washer) and he told me to go elsewhere - it would take him too long to find it. They're the ONLY shop open with a tech on a Saturday! there's been 2 times I have brought my bike here on a Saturday morning and they have had me back out the door in the dirt by Sunday morning! I am not sure why they have some of these bad reviews but I'm local and they're my go to shop! I have a KTM and I don't go to Cascade (KTM Specialist) because they're slow and they do not work weekends. Don't listen to these reviews! I had done extensive research on availability and price on a Can Am Outlander Max, looking at a purchase of about $12,000. I was treated worse than any buying experience I have had in my 50+ years of doing business. I consult in the automotive industry and the behavior and actions of the sales staff would be unacceptable in my review of any of my clients. Imagine wanting to present a fair value offer and be told by sales to not do it. They present a counter offer based on agreement of monthly payments that was crazy and totally unrelated to fair value. A tactic that might work for some but when I had all my research going in and wanted to do business with a local dealer it was totally unacceptable. So what offer do I get countered with. MSRP. This is despite advertised prices on their website less than MSRP for the same ATV. I try to explain that now that I have spent 1.5 hours there I cannot stay longer due to my fiance called and was ready to be picked up. Then they started the bait and switch and then to the manager who said the counter was an error on his part even though I had it in his own hand writing. Then magically they would sell me something for the money I was willing to spend. Not what I wanted or desired but magically as I am in my truck they seemed to say they could find what I wanted for money I was willing to spend. Then the great part. No call back as follow up, no desire to sell me a product that was sitting in a crate on their lot, no counter to earn my business. Casey at the SK Northwest in Portland earned my business quickly, with professional business skills and fair values without any games or hassle. 2.5 hours drive to have excellent service is worth it to anyone in the high desert looking to purchase. It's interesting to see only one review for this store, what happened to all reviews, what happened to my review from June 2012? Anyway, I was in this store back in June, passing through on my bike to Seattle. Stopped at Pro Caliber to have tires replaced, and brakes checked. Long story short, Pro Caliber mechanic replaced my tires and in process of checking the brakes he installed brake pads backwards on my rear wheel, I discovered this after I arrived to Seattle, and went to Seattle bike shop. However, Immediately after the service in Pro Caliber, Bend OR, I noticed terrible squeaking noise coming from the brakes and asked mechanic for explanation, he told me that my brake pads are almost gone so that's why the awful noise. I said that doesn't make sense because when I arrived to the store there was no such noise coming from the brakes, asked him to check again, but he refused, it was his time to go home. Bike mechanic in Seattle asked me to come inside the service area and show me that brake pads are installed backwards and because of this I must replace the rotor as well. I took pictures of everything and mechanics notes from the Seattle shop. I called Bend, OR Pro Caliber store to report what happened and to ask for assistance, this store denied any wrongdoing and claimed that I'm trying to get something for nothing. I called Pro Caliber store in Longview, WA. I talked to store manager Travis; I also emailed him pictures and notes from the Seattle bike shop. Right away Travis realized what happened and promised to take care of everything. He asked me to come to the store in Longview, WA. When I arrived to the store I was greeting by Travis and Ben, and everyone else in the store. They took my bike to the service shop and replaced everything free of charge. In addition, Longview store is just awesome, huge selection of new and used bikes, accessories, and parts. I was very impressed with the service department; the shop looked super clean and sophisticated, mechanics looked so professional. It was pleasure to be there. Travis and Ben are just amazing, and all people working there. I live in Seattle, but for my next bike, or bike service I'm definitely coming back to Pro Caliber in Longview. Pro Caliber in Bend OR called me and apologized for everything, they also took care of everything in cooperation with the Longview store. Pro Caliber treated me fairly. When the first repair failed to solve the problem, they did the second repair with free labor, and only charged me for the parts. $120/hour shop time but they seem to know what they are doing. Professional attitudes too. read more

Traveling thru Bend, Or. on a Saturday 1,000 mi road trip Thought I saw something amiss on my BMW 1200RT and called the service dept. Even though they don't typically work on BMW's they said bring it in and they'd check it out. I showed up and without a firm appt. having been scheduled the fantastic service manager and tech's had me on my bike and back on my way in 30 minutes !! FYI: I edited my original review based on a call/conversation from the owner and clarification of a misunderstanding due to lack of communication on my part. After much research on dirt bikes for my 11 year old, I decided that Pro Caliber Bend was where I was going to spend my money. We were both nervous about the experience as this was her first bike so we needed some gear. I will break the review down into the two divisions of the store. PARTS AND GEAR: One word "Laurelle". She was attention to detail at getting my daughter outfitted for her new bike with protective gear. She helped her fit gear and pick out stuff. I honestly felt that she had a genuine interest in my well being and was not trying to gouge me by picking the most expensive gear while keeping in mind the level of protection. I had never had such great service before. SALES: I worked with a couple of salesmen, Pat and Steve. Both were knowledgeable, kind, courteous and enthusiastic about the idea of my daughter learning to ride. We discussed several models and finally decided on a Honda CRF 125. The process was smooth, despite my misunderstanding, and everything was easy from financing to getting the run down of the specifics of the bike. I have to say, very professional service. FINAL THOUGHTS: Yes, I would recommend this place to shop. Then said they I was approved to buy a bike and put a sold sign on it then called 3 days later and said nevermind I'm not approved. Do you guys need some training? Had two appointments to have my bike picked for service. First appt was scheduled 2.5 weeks. The day/time came and passed with no word from procaliber. I called and got "disconnected" twice; gave up. The next morning I got a call saying "the driver is on his way". I stated the previous day's events and procaliber lack of follow thru. No apology or anything beyond, "yeah, it got busy and the truck was out so I never called". So, the truck was to arrive within the hour. Time came/went. Two hours later I called and was disconnected again. Gave up and will not return. Went with another company. read more

Bought a CAN AM Maverick X3 Turbo X ds from Pro Caliber. I got to tell you it was hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. The all around staff was great... When delivering the vehicle to our home, we were late coming back from dinner. Driver called me when he arrived. I told him we are going to be a bit we just sat down at dinner.. The driver person waited at our home until we arrived. WOW. He had our new toy unloaded waiting for us. As soon as we drove in he had it started waiting for us... Love the sound of the Yoshi Pipe!!! Sales is awesome... we love Frank. Service on the other hand is not our favorite. They have no communication skills, they do not follow through on what they tell you they will do and they are rude. The service department really needs to take a lesson from the awesome sales staff there. I understand businesses being busy and having to schedule two weeks out for drop off, but they have now had our seadoo sparks for a month and we have not been given an update in 2 weeks. After week one we called to let them know they are not winterized and need to be or need to be stored inside... they said they would store them inside with over night temps dropping. This is my first time writing a negative review. I attempted to handle this issue over the phone, but they were sadly not willing to help. I went into get my motorcycle checked out for a 3500 mile motorcycle trip. I left with no screws holding in the seat, a rear tire that could not make the trip, and a rear brake that could not make the trip. After a phone call, they kindly put on 2 screws to hold in my rear seat. My tire needed to be replaced on my trip. I started noticing balancing and traction issues at around mile 1000 on my trip. Thinking that the shop had assured my motorcycle tire to make said trip, I pressed on with the intent of replacing the tire when I arrived home. The issues got worse, and I eventually had to stop and replace the tire. The mechanics who replaced it said they were very surprised I did not have a blow out before now and that I would not make it the 250 miles home. They also noted that my rear brakes would not make the journey home. I called Pro Caliber the Monday after I got home and shared my concern. They told me that they had marked my tire as "good" and that it was my fault for driving it 3,300 miles with luggage as I told them was my plan. They told me that they marked my brakes as "fair," but did not recommend replacing them before said trip. They accepted no responsibility for their negligence, and refused minor recompense for my needless maintenance issues causing major stress and delay during my vacation. I hired Pro Caliber to make sure my bike would make it 3500 miles, they inspected it, charged me for minor repairs, and told me that it would be great for my trip. Instead, I walked away with 3 life threatening issues with my bike. read more

The Parts Department and Service Department are pretty good... but the Sales Department sucks. I live in Bend and have done business with this dealership many times. In general, the parts and service folks are friendly and competent. Because it's a small shop, they often have to order my parts -- even if fairly common, like Honda air filters, brake fluid or coolant. Okay, it's Bend and they probably run with a minimal parts stock and have an unsophisticated inventory system. However, my experiences with the sales people have been consistently unpleasant. Most of these guys are defensive and argumentative about their motorcycle prices and often don't know that much about the products they sell. Of the two bike purchases I attempted, one was ridiculously overpriced (so I bought elsewhere) and with my second unsuccessful purchase they were down right fraudulent and misrepresented the deal. In my younger years, I was a Honda mechanic, parts manager and service manager for a large operation, so I know a bit about how a dealership should work. Sadly, the Pro Caliber sales staff think they're dealing with a bunch of yokels for customers. They act as if we will actually put up with their price-gouging and sleazy sales practices. Go to Pro Caliber for parts and service... but buy your bikes any place else. read more

Traveling through Oregon on a road trip and needed a new rear tire. It was great that they had the tire in stock and could put it on right away! Was super happy until I got on the bike and road it out. Despite there already being marks where the tire should be set, it was up too far causing the chain to be so loose it was touching the chain guard and it kept slipping. Insult to injury the tire was under inflated by 12 psi despite the obvious fact that I was fully loaded on a road trip. It was so bad I fixed it myself instead of risking any more damage done to my bike by them. Never again. read more

Went in on a blustery day to look at dirt bikes and had a great experience. I was acknowledged by Frank Wiltse when I came in the door. He was super nice, laid back and made me feel comfortable. He asked me what brought me in and I told him it's been 20 years since I've ridden so I was looking to see what's new. I fell in love with the Honda CRF450. He let me know they were having a winter sale and the bikes were tagged accordingly. I let him know I was going to take a look around the store and he was respectful of that. I'm the kind of person that does a ton of research before I buy and I need time to process. When I went over to clothing and accessories I was helped and again there was no pressure. Everyone here even Daniel the tech was super helpful when he setup my suspension for my weight. Great experience overall. read more

I have a Yamaha generator that may or may not have an issue. Since they were two weeks out for any service I was hoping a mechanic could spend 30 seconds (or less) to tell me if the product was fixable. This was not an option for them as they were "too busy". I would have to leave the product for two weeks minimum just to find out if it was fixable, and if not, replace it. If they were able to spend the 30 seconds and tell me it wasn't fixable then I would have dropped $900 on a new generator today. This seems to be short sighted on their part. I am now seeing why there are so many other service related bad reviews. read more

Pro Caliber ripped me off big time. I brought in a 1984 Honda Ct 110 that I had just purchased. I told them to go completely thru it, check everything, make sure everything was perfect. It took two months to get it back, it was snowing on pickup day and we left for our winter location in Sedona, AZ. I paid almost $1000. Got it off the trailer and it wouldn't run. Took it to a local shop and the bike had tons of problems. Not even the air filter had been changed, it was filled with oil and gas and fell apart on touching. I could go on and on about what pro caliber didn't do. They took advantage of a 63 year old woman. Women beware. Pro Caliber is a total rip off business. read more

I was traveling through Bend on my '92 BMW and realized my rear tire was unsafe. I called Pro Caliber. They were very helpful on the phone and let me know what tires in this odd size they had, and offered to order another type, if I wanted, for delivery tomorrow. I chose a tire they had in stock and rode, (carefully) to the shop. Rex, the service manager, took care of me right away, no waiting. I was in and out in 1 hr. These people are the worst in Bend. Every time I have been in the shop, everyone has a terrible attitude and has never greeted me in a friendly manner. Just the other day I bought a master link there and they gave me the wrong part. After driving all the way back to the shop a second time, they managed to screw up and give me the wrong part a second time. I then called the shop to try and get them to order me the right part, but they wanted me to drive to the shop yet again (for a 3$ part) and spend even more of my time and money on trying to get the right part. I will gladly be using the Motoshop from now on and will never be returning to Pro Caliber again. At least at the Motoshop they treat you like an important human being and not like an expendable rat and try their best to please who is important, THE CUSTOMER. read more
