The non caring owner claims that this brand of shirts shrink. So, apparently he knew this before cleaning the shirts, before taking my money and never warned me of the shrinkage issue until after the damage was done. What makes it worse is that he never apologized and made me feel as if I was the blame for his error. I'm starting to feel like the other disappointed customers who said that all they care about is your money. They only care until you have an issue. I never had this issue with my previous cleaners. Also, I never had a shrinkage issue with these shirts at Dry Clean World until recently.

I noticed when I dropped off a bedspread (that they have drycleaned multiple times over the years) that there was a new girl. There is a language barrier there and I actually left the drive-thru and parked and went inside to make sure I said 'dry cleaned" not washed. It was always the process in the past that the spread was 'sent out' and based on what day of the week I left it, it would take at the least a week to get it back, as the outside provider only came one day a week to deliver or p/u. Well I was told 3 days. (first red flag) Upon picking it up I did notice that it smelled quite nice (dry cleaned items have no fragrance) (Second red flag) and returning home I opened it and it has been washed and the lining had shrunk away from the fabric and the filling was lumpy. They had washed and dried the spread. Tag on it says Dryclean Only. I returned the next day and the gentlemen inside said it had been washed but they could fix it. Just picked it up and it is even worse. A total loss. Our guest bedroom is decorated around this spread -- pillows, curtains, pictures, paint. I explained this to the man with pictures of the bedroom, and he offered me $150 for the damages. I will not be returning to this establishment, and I had been using them since 1991. In the back you can see a 'village' of people working and he did tell me they do not outsource anything anymore. Until the new owners learn the 'art' of drycleaning I would avoid using them.

The recent owners are HORRIBLE and rude! His teenage kids are sweet and will one day be great business owners if they continue to be themselves and not turn out to be like their father. Lol. I read a different review talking about the horrible guy with the beard, that's him! He does not honor the mistakes made in his establishment. As long time weekly customers that has never complained, you would think he would try to correct an error in his work. Well just the opposite. We will miss them because majority of the work is good but when those 1 or 2 pieces get damaged, this guy does not take responsibility. By the way the ladies in the back are amazingly sweet (they've been there since the last owner). It's just the bearded owner that's a horrible business man!

Recently, I had a pen that busted and leaked blue ink discoloring the pocket and front of a white lab coat. The stain was the size of my hand. I dropped it off expecting to buy another coat. When I returned to pick the coat up the stain was gone and the coat looked new again. The manager knows many of his customers by name and greets each of them. I have been to other dry cleaners and the outcomes have been less than desirable. I have had garments returned torn, burnt, and with broken buttons. The mangers at the other places, for the most part, have not been receptive to compensating me for damage they have wrought. There has only been one event where I needed something redone at this dry cleaner. It was not that big of a deal except I work in a public setting and my attire cannot be rumpled or stained. I took it back and pointed out the infraction. There was no resistance. He apologized and redid the item. That was good customer service. I plan to be a return customer for quite some time. 39/100

I took seven men's dress shirts for the regular laundry service, light starch on hangers, and was unpleasantly surprised to find that my (prepaid) total would be over $40, nearly $6 per shirt. When I asked the (rather impatient) owner why the price was so much, she explained that since this was my first visit and my shirts had not be cleaned by them before, an extra thorough cleaning process was needed. This "extra" basically doubled the price per shirt. She added that extra charge without asking me or informing me in any way whatsoever. I think she could see I was about to walk out when she relented and told me I could have the "regular" service if I wanted it. I said yes, at which point she informed me that I needed to pay up front. I paid about $28 and left. I checked with a few other cleaners in the immediate area and the average price I was quoted was under $3 per shirt, usually around $2.50-$2.75. A few days later on a Saturday, I went in to pick up my shirts, arriving at 3:55 pm. The same person greeted me at the door with "We close at 4:00". I looked at my watch, it was 3:56 pm. I asked if she wanted me to come back another day. I walked inside and was immediately greeted by the most foul stench you can imagine. I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible, but I had to wait while she finished her phone call. Eventually she got off the phone and reluctantly took my ticket and retrieved my shirts. After she got off the phone it only took about 30 seconds to get my shirts, but apparently this was too much trouble for her, and she acted like she didn't want to do it. I told her that I checked a few other places and the prices I was quoted. She said to me, "Then you better go there." As I wrote, I wanted to give this place a try. I'm sorry I did.
